The park itself is still under construction in some areas, so it looks like there's even more to come. Even so, it's already a beautiful, clean, and family-friendly park. One thing I really liked is that there are three different playgrounds, so kids of different ages have plenty of options to explore and play. The park also features walking paths, picnic areas, and other amenities that make it a nice place to spend a few hours. (⁠Public Works) If you're looking for a fun place to cool off on a hot day or let the kids burn off some energy, this park is definitely worth checking out. But due to work, I have only been able to take a few classes throughout the years. But I do love the variety of classes that they offer and how constant their schedule is. If you are looking for a Japanese school for your child to attend, they offer that. If you would like to just learn more about the community through the different cultural classes, just sign up for the emails and you can be alerted for upcoming classes that they offer. I've taken amigurumi (crochet), ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement), and a cooking class. All of the instructors are great and mostly volunteers. So it just shows you what a great community there is. They have festivals through the year and also help put on the West Covina Cherry Blossom Festival. They also host the West Covina obon at the center but it is organized by the Buddhist church which is based out of the community center. So there is just a lot of activities that you can get involved with.
