It is with pleasure that I write this 5 star review…read more This company was referred to me by Perlick Corp as one of their most reliable service dealers. Duane provided next day service and gave me a 2 hour window that his technician would arrive to clean and sanitize my free standing ice maker...(see photo).. Sure enough, the tech arrived within the promised time slot. Donte, the service tech was very knowledgeable and communicative about what the parts were and their function. He was very thorough and worked efficiently. I would call this company again for any house appliances servicing.

The tech diagnosed it as a faulty motherboard and said they needed to order a new one. I paid a $350 deposit upfront and the balance when the part was installed -- totaling over $600 for parts and labor. After the new board was installed, my fridge and freezer completely stopped working, and I lost hundreds of dollars in food. They eventually reinstalled the original motherboard and told me the refrigerator had just coincidentally failed and now needed a multi-thousand-dollar freon repair. The tech suggested I buy a new fridge -- which I did, for $1,100. But here's the truth: with the original board back in, the fridge worked perfectly -- error code and all. It never needed a motherboard, never needed freon, and definitely didn't need replacing. They misdiagnosed the issue, and worse, they kept the new part I paid for. I was able to cancel the second payment when I realized the damage, but it was too late to stop the initial $350 check. The owner, Duane Browne, admitted fault and promised to refund me. He told me several times he would mail the check.over a few months. Only when I called to follow up. This last time he made me retell the whole story like he'd never heard it before. Then he said he would drive it over "right now." He never showed. In the end: * $350 lost for a repair that made things worse * Hundreds in spoiled food * $1,100 for a new refrigerator I didn't need * A part I paid for that they kept * And a refund that was repeatedly promised but never delivered This wasn't just bad service -- it was deceptive, careless, and dishonest. Avoid this business at all costs. Quick edit- Duane dropped off a check the next day after no call no show the night before

I contacted Good Guy Appliance,…read moreand Vitaliy (the owner) had a service technician come take a look at our washing machine. The problem was that the technician never got back to us with our quote for the repair, even after I called a couple of times. After a week, I just wrote a bad review, thinking they did not want our business. The owner reached out to me after that and explained his technician was new and forgot to send us the quote. He apologized profusely, and he went above and beyond to make things right. You could tell he prides himself and his company on the quality of work they do. He ended up helping us repair our drying machine that just had a belt snap a few days ago. He was honest and sincere and very knowledgeable. Made the whole experience great. If I need any repairs in the future, I will only contact him and his company. He made what started off as a bad experience into a great experience. Highly recommended! ,

I did a little research and knew what the problem was so shopped the job across several technicians. Vitaliy had a fair price and coupled with his excellent reviews. I chose him. Worth his weight in gold!

The woman who answers the phone there says she doesn't see my work order number, I need to call the warranty company. I call, they call high Valley (and I suspect, getting High in the Valley might JUST be a part of the problem here......) and the woman's excuse when I call the company back is that they hadn't checked the right email address. ????????? HUH? You don't have a specific email address your warranty business comes in through. Now, of course, they can't get out for almost a week. They show up last week on Tuesday, by the way- much later than the window of time they gave me for arriving-the technician looks at my microwave, and says he has to go back, order the part, and they'll call in a day or two to let me know when he can return. Monday, day 6 after him being out, I call the company. Same woman answers the phone. She has the same, "I don't really give a crap" attitude on the phone. Says, "I don't know. I think maybe we are still looking for the part or something. I have no idea when we will get out there." SERIOUSLY? OK "HIgh Valley" - let's smoke a little ganja and worry about stuff tomorrow....... I call the warranty company, they speak to them, and I'm supposed to have a call back yesterday. Late this afternoon I realize- Hey! It's been 2 days. I call her and she says- again-" I don't know what's going on with that. Maybe we haven't found the part yet...." I told her I was told she was going to call me back yesterday to tell me what was happening. I love this, she says "I don't know what's happening." No S---- Sherlock! THAT'S APPARANT! Again- the name "High Valley" may be for a reason! I said, "You know, I think it might work better if you were to follow up with a client and let them know where things stand, especially after the warranty company tells you to do that." She says, VERY rudely- "Goodbye" and hangs up on me. Another point? My microwave is only 2 or 3 years old, and a Frigidaire- the parts should be pretty readily available in over a week's time- wouldn't you think? Between their lack of customer service and their total appalling lack of concern, if I were you, looking for a repair company, I think I'd take a quick pass on "High Valley"- they are too busy smokin' the ganja or some such thing over there!
