The bed wasn't heated. I was cold every time she took the blanket off a section. The bed didn't have a head cradle at the top, was rather a hole in the table where you stick your head. At first I hated this as it was uncomfortable but I didn't get a stuffy nose like I typically do with the face cradles. So I preferred this. I don't understand the tea house portion of the name. They had random boxes of tea on a shelf in the waiting area..... Overall, if you get a "deal" then I'd say come here. I would not recommend it for the full price as you can get more customized massages elsewhere.

My masseuse (Amy) was very good: she asked me beforehand about ongoing issues, told me to warn her if whatever she was doing hurt, and asked my permission to also massage my head/hair (apparently not everybody wants that- it was so good!) I liked that Amy made sure to give attention to my leg which I have injured, without ignoring it all together or overdoing things. I could tell from her technique she knows what she is doing. I have had her do a full body relaxation appointments and some appointments have been to help with pain I was feeling in a certain area. In every massage I felt relaxed and better by the end. It eventually expired, but laws were passed a couple of years ago that expired vouchers can still be used in their original value, even if the discount expires. I called Spencer massage again and asked for an appointment - I was willing to use my voucher's cash value and still pay extra to get my massage. So, to be clear, I called Spencer and left voicemails both before and after the voucher expired. Eventually I called Lifebooker and asked for my money back - they basically said "sorry, talk to Spencer Massage." And since Spencer Massage never returned a voicemail, I just filed a dispute with my credit card company. They had the nerve to challenge the dispute. So no, this is not a lost needle in a a haystack or lack of organization - they spoke to a representative and made some sort of case for why they deserved to keep my money. I don't know what they could have said, but it had to be a lie, since I paid for a service they refused to provide. So I lost the dispute, and they kept my $29. It's not much money, but I'm very unhappy with the whole situation in principle. And if you're considering getting a deal from them, I'd beware - you might be one of the lucky few who get an appointment and are happy with their services, or you might just end up losing $29.
