I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. My husband picked up our truck last night. After spending $500 on a detail and specifying I wanted EVERYTHING done both interior and exterior (including having the entire truck buffed to remove scratches) they didn't wash out the bed of my truck; so it's still dirty .... I now have to wash it, which in return will make the exterior dirty when the water and dirt runs out ; and then ill have to re-clean the exterior again; that i just paid to have done. When i called to inquire, the answer I got was "we don't clean inside the beds of trucks bc we don't want all that in our parking lot". While I understand that, they need to specify this. I had mentioned 3 TIMES I want the ENTIRE truck spotless because I'm selling it. If there are certain things they don't clean it needs to be mentioned, posted, written, something .... Especially after I was charged an additional $40 because there was a little bit of dog hair in the back seat. After my husband got the truck home I took a look inside. They didn't wipe down the door panels, they didn't wash the floor mats, there is buffing compound all inside the door Jams of every door, and the center console wasn't wiped down inside or outside ... What did I pay $500 for? I do not reccomend this place and I will not be using them again. read more

Im not local to this area and went off of yelp to find an auto tinting shop. Reviews were mostly on detailing but I decided to take a chance. Bottom line they will not give you a refund. The only thing that gives this a two star instead of 1 is Auto Salon's willingness to try and get your tint right. However I've been back here 4 times and I still had to settle for less than what I was hoping for. I understand nothing is perfect, but none of my friends tints have this level of dust and air bubbles at this price. I bought my first brand new car and decided to do something good for it by protecting the interior from the sun. I ended up with more and more scuffs, scratches, and damages everytime I came back. Id like to give the benefit of the doubt, but my car had less than 2000 miles and was flawless. You can call me nitpicky, but Im far from a perfectionist. I made sure my car was good when I bought it. I don't expect to spend more on top of what I paid to get damage fixed. Auto Salon will redo their job per their warranty. But its hard to make that call at this point. At the very least I wish they offered me a refund even if partial. I do not feel that I got my moneys worth and Im pretty disappointed in the small damages to my car. I wanted to make it work, but I cannot recommend this shop for a tint job. read more

The car looks worse now, 10 days after the detail, then it did before the detail. $240 later there's wax/polish on all black plastic trim on the car. There's still wax in many locations on the painted surfaces and some on the head lights. The interior is beige, now that the shine shit they use to make leather look good has soaked in, or whatever it does, the same dirty looking console cover is as dirty as when we took it up there. They tell me the carpets we're shampooed, but I could find a damp spot anywhere in the car that tells me it was done. I called and complained twice. I was assured the shampooing was done with very minimal water usage so it dries very fast, okay. And, I was told to bring the car back and they'll clean the wax and polish off the plastic exterior pieces. We'll see how this goes. This is the second time that I've had to take my car back to have the work done correctly. Not worth it. read more

The pictures are showing the finished results of the "Galaxie 20% tint", this is one hour after having the tint applied to the front driver side and passenger side windows as well as the front wind shield visor. This review was written 3 weeks after and everything still looks great, no bubbles or flaws. The rear windows are a factory tint, so I asked "The Auto Salon" to match the shade of factory tint on the back windows to the front windows and visor. As you can see in the pictures it turned out great, and they even fit me in on the same day and I was done within a hour or less. The cost was only $90 for the front 2 windows and $35 for the visor. This also includes a LIFETIME WARRANTY. The staff at The Auto Salon are very professional, friendly, helpful, and attentive, and just Awesome people. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a professionally done tint job and they are very flexible with tryin to work you into there schedule the same day!!! read more

Just note I am very particular about my car. I heard good things about this place. I went to get my windows tinted and the tint was fine no problems, but after a few days of going back and looking over the car. My girlfriend and I notice a couple of paint chips that were not there before I dropped the car off. I have been detailing cars myself for a few years and I know that this will not buff out and it will need repainting. Please mind you I have a brand new car (3 months old) I also detailed the car before I dropped it off, there are finger prints and water stains all over my car. For a detail shop I expected them to go over and clean the car over. I'm not asking for a detail but at least wipe down the finger prints. There is also a few small tears on the exterior rubber trim for the front passenger window. This morning when I got in my car I noticed that what ever spray they used to apply the tint with, it stained the grey fabric on my armrest. Im not happy and I was going to send my girlfriends car there but that won't be happening. read more

Had car detailed & wasn't impressed for the money.. forgot to clean glove compartment, didn't clean sun visors as there were still finger prints & mirrors had an oily film over it... brought it home & wiped down myself... My friend had his done same day and the entire windshield has that oily film.. after cleaning several times, it still doesn't come clean... person he spoke to today was very unprofessional & said they didn't do it... These guys did a fantastic job on my car. I spilled gasoline in the back of my SUV and could not get the smell out. I tried keeping the windows open to air out the car but because of the storms we had at the time couldn't keep it open. Took it to these guys to detail and clean the interior and it looks and smells fantastic. They really did a great job. Would recommend them to others. read more

I called for an appointment to get my SUV detailed and they fit me right in, the next day. I wasn't sure how their process worked, since I was a potential first time customer. I was told, on the phone, that the detailing was going to take 4 hours...no problem. So I dropped the SUV off at the scheduled time the next day. I told the staff member who took my keys that I would return at 3pm. He explained that my SUV would be finished well before 3pm. When I returned at 3:20pm, I was told by another staff member that my car was not finished and that it would be finished at 5pm, when they closed. So then I was a bit upset, since I walked to their location from my house (45 minute walk). I paid for the service and walked home once again. Upon picking up my SUV, I could not believe how it looked...AMAZING!!! They removed stains from the carpet and leather seats that I thought would never come out. They polished the tires and rims to perfection. Overall, I am ecstatic with their attention to detail. However, I was still a bit upset about their poor communication between their staff and customers. read more

We took our son's car there for detailing on Xmas eve so we could give it to him as a Xmas gift. When we picked it up i wasn't too impressed with their job. The wax looked great but when they shined the "black" of the body it looked like a kid did the job. When I looked in the inside the carpet still had plenty of stains and dirt, the back windows weren't even wiped down. I could actually see fingers prints on the back windows. The arm rest wasn't cleaned. Also the carpet was still wet which I expected from the shampoo but the passenger side was so wet it looked like they just poured water on the floor. I could take a paper towel and the water came up dark brown. Which means they didn't even suck up the solution from the floor. $300 for a "detail" and headlight cleaning. I could have done a better job in an hour than they did in 4-5 hours but "experts". NEVER take your car there!!!!!!!!! Next time I want to be robbed Ill just go to the Inner Harbor with money in my hands. #pissedX1000 read more
