I took advantage of a recent Yelp deal to have The Auto Spa clean the inside and outside of my 20-yr old car. Years of accumulated dirt and stains on the inside carpets, doors, and seats were cleaned off, and the interior vinyl was cleaned and polished. It was a great deal, thanks to Yelp. Pleased with their work on that job, I took my car back for a full paint buffing. The paint had faded and gotten grainy from years in the Southwest sun. After a day's work, they had buffed my car so that it looked practically brand new! The paint was as clean and shiny as new. It vastly improved the looks of my car! Nice job! read more

Nothing good to say about this place. They pretty much wash cars in a dark basement with minimal lighting. And who ever answers the phones needs to work on their customer service. Yes I took advantage of the Yelp deal ($49/$220) and yes I was expecting something less than a $220 detail but this was not not even close. I was happy to get the carpets shampooed, but the roof wasn't even touched, rims still had dirt and there were water spots within the interior. I would be pissed if I had paid full price. After reading some of the other reviews it seems that the Yelp coupon customers only get a quick detail and not the full service you would get at full price. read more

Great job and VERY flexible. I purchased an Auto Spa Yelp coupon that expired last month and put off using it until the last minute. When I called to make an appointment, they were booked two months out but honored my coupon beyond the expiration date. That hooked me. I brought them a Jeep I had just had shipped to me from Atlanta... the shippers had put the Jeep in the "safest" spot on the truck (the top front)... so it was covered in bugs all over the back of it and just generally filthy on the outside. They did an excellent job on it! The paint feels like glass now and I don't see any swirls or regular scratches like you so often do on black cars. The detail did take them longer than they thought it would but I was kept in the loop by the owner. I'll certainly go back. read more

I have a honda accord that had nothing but tree sap all over it Nader told me that a simple wash wouldnt take care of and I thought he was trying to sell me on spending more money. Well, i was wrong the wash didnt help. He was kind enough not to charge me for the wash and went ahead and detailed my car for a great deal. I dont think my car was this clean when I bought it. Fantastic job at a great price! Things didn't start off too promising at first. I made an 8am appointment to get things started early since I knew a full detailing would take all day. The place was locked when I arrived but I waited for about 45min calling a few times and leaving messages. Finally, someone arrived and apologized. He had forgotten his garage clicker and had to go home to retrieve it. Whether that was a story or not, who knows...I still wanted to give them a chance. My car hadn't been washed in one year, and hadn't been waxed in nearly three years. Other waxing places wouldn't even wax the car saying it had a layer of dirt so thick and permanent that I would need to get it removed with clay first. Auto-spa not only does the whole clay thing, but they buffed the paint afterwards before waxing. The car felt smoother than my face after a close shave. Wow! They also cleaned the inside, although calling it a "cleaning" is an understatement. They put protectant on all the leather inside, they shampooed the disgusting rugs all throughout the car, they cleaned all the floor mats, they cleaned every door hinge, mirror, panel, button, vent, and handle I could put my hands on. Being a large SUV, it's no wonder this took all day! Some of that door hinge grime must have been there since 1996 when the car was purchased. That's nearly 15-year old dirt...ALL GONE! Needless to say I was impressed and would recommend the place to everyone. The price is reasonable for the amount of work done. I've taken it to other places that charge the same just to wash and wax the inside and outside. If you've never experienced a full-detailing job then you're in for a pleasant surprise. My truck looks better than ever- !! I got an appointment within a couple weeks which is to be expected with a yelp deal for a small business. I was amazed when I saw it! Leave a really good tip since the price was so low on the yelp deal---and say hi to the cute one eye pug!! The only thing that I would advise is dont be put off by how they answer the phone- keep it short -When you pick your car up you will find very nice people to Help you out or hand your key over and tell you what they did to your vehicle...I will definatley go back! read more

Black cars are extremely difficult to maintain. The color makes it easy to point out dirt and other imperfections on the surface. I dropped off my black 2001 Audi at the shop in very poor condition... not washed in forever, ski season, parked under pollen, etc. I picked up the car in spectacular condition. Attention to detail was evident, as all the hinge nook and crannies were all clean. The black paint was smooth and absolutely beautiful. I'm not going to go on and on, but I will say I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. My coworker and I literally dropped our jaw's when we saw the car. I will be going back as a customer for as long as I don't have a garage living in the city. read more

Agree with the consensus here. They do a fantastic job and are extremely thorough - I asked for an interior detail expecting them to wash the mats and seats, but they scrubbed everything on my 12-year old Corolla till it looked like new! It's also true that they take a LOT of time - I gave them from 10-4 on a Wednesday and they still weren't done - I gave them the car again on Friday from 10-6 and it was still drying when I picked it up! Basically, expect to leave the car with them an entire day. But it's well worth it! read more

The guys at Auto Spa are great... very down to earth and friendly. I came in with a ridiculously dirty car both from work but mainly because of my two dogs. My friends were all complaining about the smell...very embarrassing! Auto Spa got every last bit of dog hair out of my Scion. I couldn't believe it. The smell was almost gone, but I honestly could not have expected perfection. I was disappointed, however, that they missed the glove box and compartment below my stereo. Not a big deal to clean it myself, but I paid quite a bit extra (which was totally fair) and would not think these things would have been missed. Definitely a fan of Auto Spa. read more

I first brought my car here after reading some rave reviews on yelp and thought I'd try 'em out. That was almost 2 years ago. I've been going back ever since to get a full detail and I seriously couldn't be happier with their work. They do such a meticulous and pain-staking job at getting your car to literally look like it just came off the lot. I just came back from a road trip and also had 3 dogs' fur all up in my car. When I got the car back after getting it detailed you couldn't find one speck of dirt or dust or one even one strand of fur!! They are seriously amazing and deserve every penny they earn. If you want your car to look perfect just for up-keep or you if you have a dog like I do, there is no better place to take your ride! And for the price, you really can't beat it. read more

I did take me several weeks to get an appointment but once I was there, all was good. The detailing was solid and the car looked great when I went to pick it up. They also had a paintless dent repair guy who they worked with who fixed a dent while the car was getting detailed. He wasn't cheap, but the work was outstanding and it looked like new. read more

Auto spa and Charlie are the BEST. I was so distraught from having huge watermarks baked in all over my car from recent trips and he said if I brought the car in he would sand and buff it. He did such a fantastic job, making my Z4 look shiny-shiny, brand new looking! You know he did an excellent job when I pulled out of the shop and the driver of a car that let me into the lane looked at my car and then at the shop. Charlie really cared about my car and you could see he took lots of pride in his work. With the wax and sealant, I won't be going back with more watermarks but will use them again if the need arises. I showed up and Carlos spent a lot of time explaining the detailing that I would receive. He was over-the-top friendly and professional. And you know, those first minutes mean a lot. After all, I am leaving a very expensive car, Mercedes E350 in their hands. Big relief! Then, I return at the end of the day to retrieve my car and again, friendly, friendly, friendly!! And, my car sparkled. It looked like a new car! I asked who actually did the detailing and it turned out that it was ANOTHER Carlos! So funny! I purchased a groupon for this place. What a waste! I have called in for several weeks in a row to make an appointment in advance and have only been met with the WORST customer service ever. The man who answers the phone is not only unfriendly, but offers no solution to their "full calendar until June 26th". Even after explaining that I relocating to a new city and would really like to use it, I was still met with "sorry, we're full". Epic fail in customer service. read more

These guys are horrible. Do not give them your business. They will not do a good job. You will not be satisfied. I got the yelp deal. They were fairly rude when I called and had to schedule 3 1/2 weeks in advance. The only time they had on that day was a 7am slot, which was earlier than I wanted, but I took it so that I could get in. When I dropped of the car, I was the only one there and the guy assured me that it would be done by noon. I told him I would rather pick it up at the end of the day and he said that would be closing at 6:30 and I could pick it up any time after noon. When I arrived at 6:15, it looked as if they had started on the car roughly an hour before and were nowhere near done. There was dried wax on the outside of the car and they had just started on the interior. I didn't want them to rush and do a poor job, so I told them I would come back and asked how much longer. They said an hour. So at 7:15, the wax was still on the car and they were still working on the interior. I thought they might have had a few more of their guys jump on it to help. But no, still just two guys working while I counted another 4 just hanging out at the end of the day. I asked how long and they said 20 minutes. I gave them 30, came back and they were just finishing. It was 7:45 at night, so dark that I wasn't able to really get a good look at how well they did. As expected, in the morning light, I found that there was still wax on the car that they had missed, there was no protectant on a lot of the trim and generally I think the guys at the car wash do a better job in about a half hour, for about $35. The Yelp deal said for $49 you get a detail worth $250. After the time I waisted waiting for them to give me a pretty good car wash. I'd say they owe me around $150. read more

I don't understand. They shouldn't be on Yelp offering deals and treating the customers that purchase this deal like 2nd class customers. Dropped off at 9 am and they got done @ 6pm. Too long for such a bad job. The console wasn't cleaned AT ALL! Stains of dirt left in random spots, seats were still wet, not damp, wet when I picked up and stains were left on the seats. Such a bad job and I think it's all due to the deal I purchased. Yelp, sorry to say , they gave themselves and YOu a bad name! Never ever feature them again...they suck! read more

Brought my car here using a Groupon deal. I added on an interior detail for $150, which was a little steep, but WTH. The detall guys here take a lot of pride in their work. My car looked fantastic and the interior was great, even though they missed a few spots. The main issue was with shampooing of the carpet. My car's carpet was still soaking wet when I picked it up at the end of the day. Most detail shops have heaters or will run the car with heater on full blast to dry the interior. Auto Spa's location is so small and tight that there's no way they're going to let a car idle and heat the interior for a few hours. Everyone will die of CO poisoning. Get an exterior detail here, but skip the interior work. read more

Based on surveying others' reviews, it seems they get it right most of the time. Although that's as much as you could expect of anyone in any business, I have to give them a 1-star because of VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. As suggested by others, when they make mistakes (which, again, we all do), they don't man up and deal with them. Rather, they take a cowardice approach: they first hide the mistakes, then deny them, and finally make false promises (repeatedly) to reconcile them. I purchased a Yelp deal for my Toyota Corolla and had several problems: Most importantly, they broke the driver's side door handle (overly aggressive scrubbing??). I tried to discuss this with the management, who essentially evaded responsibility as described above, ultimately promising to "call a guy tomorrow" many days in a row without doing so, until I finally gave up. Other smaller issues: There was lack of attention to detail in the cleaning, likely related to how busy they became with Yelpers. They also used some unknown cleaning agents that lead to peeling away of the paneling along the doors within a couple weeks. So in sum, based on everyone else's reviews, if you want to play your odds, you'll probably be ok...but don't expect any customer service if things don't go as planned! read more

Do not believe the 4.5-stars on Yelp. It's obvious that they have a business relationship together. I purchased a Groupon and called in to make an appointment. The man that answered the phone was very rude, and really made me feel uncomfortable about bringing my car there. I decided to tell him that I would think about it and call back. Since they're booked up for the next 8-weeks???, I 'll just call Groupon for a refund. There are plenty of other Detail shops around. I had a yelp deal, so I tried to book an appointment in June, approximately one month before the deal expired. But they said that they would not be able to see me until August! I can understand that everyone else was also trying to use up their yelp deal. At least they said that they'll still honor the promotional value when I come in August. So here's my overall impression...They could definitely up the customer service skills. When I called to make the appointment the guy was very forward, blunt, and not very personable/friendly. I tried to look past that, but when I dropped off the car, I wasn't even greeted. I walked up to the desk and the guy looked like he was busy playing computer games or something. I left the keys and he went right back to the computer. Whatever. As long as they end up doing a good job detailing the car. Later, I picked up my car and was impressed by the how great the car looked. Cleaned inside and out, carpets washed and leather conditioned, dashboard wiped down, tires and rims polished, etc. And let me tell you, my car has rarely been cleaned since it was bought in '03! To sum it up, I liked that they did a great job on the car but am still a little put off by their lack of customer service. I would only come back if I had a discount or deal, because I wouldn't want to pay full price. read more
