I love The Avenue Viera! This is one of my favorite outdoor malls. They have such beautiful outside scenery, which includes a beautiful water fountain. They also have AMC Avenue 16, an extremely nice movie theater. A great restaurant that I love in The Avenue Viera, is Pizza Gallery & Grill. They have tasty garlic knots! I also always have fantastic service while I'm at The Avenue Viera. The Avenue Viera is truly a great value to myself and the rest of the Space Coast area. My favorite place to visit, when I'm at The Avenue Viera, is Cold Stone Creamery. It's a fantastic way to shop, just strolling around, enjoying the fresh weather, while eating delicious cake batter ice cream. read more

Great selection. I look for new IPAs to try and like the vast selection. Wine options are plentiful with sales that have some mid tier choices. The store is big and clean with enough employees if I can't find something. It is a usual stop when we shop at The Avenue Viera. The navigation of cutting over driving from the shops is somewhat challenging during high traffic times. read more

It's not a corn maze, it's s shopping plaza! Who designs these places? Sure, straight up and down aisles can be boring, but at least it's not a nightmare to navigate and find what you're looking for. I'm talking about you, area where Kohl's and Total Wine is. And also the round about area! Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of places to shop and eat, just know that it's not easy to get from one place to another and you may find yourself making awkward turns and sudden stops while trying to find the next store or restaurant. Or if you're lucky, all of the places you're going to are all within walking distance of your parking spot. I'm sure I'll go here again when in the area, but will probably get mad and throw Burger King fries in anger (it's better than eating them). read more

I visited The Avenue Viera for the very first time and it just so happened to be Black Friday. We only went in a few sorted but I expected the crowd to be much worse. The stores had great deals and did a lovely job of keeping everyone sane on this busy holiday. read more

This large outdoor shopping center is a destination. Adjacent to I-95 at the Wickham Road exit, the center has shopping, dining and entertainment all in one spot. Movie theater, dining from quick casual to fancy sit-down, shopping from fashion to shoes to housewares. Yes, you're going to be going from one place to another in your car but it's a short drive. Hopefully, it's not raining. The shopping center is relatively new and looks it. Landscaping is excellent and traffic control is top notch with a smattering of traffic lights and limited entrances. Shops both local and national. Food of the national chain variety but a few small juice bars and sandwich shops are around. A large AMC theater is one of the main attractions of the area. Otherwise smaller stores in the main middle or water fountain walk area. They've done a lot in the past few years to expand this area. Not entirely sure what is "The Avenue" anymore or if this part of Viera with shopping is it. They have a ton of apartments and condos across from the stores and are constructing more day by day. The same general blueprint has been updated but now they are expanding with housing and other community areas. Don't feel I would drive from Orlando or Miami for these stores but if you're in the space coast area or Melbourne, Merritt Island, or Viera it's well worth a visit for a movie and some shopping. read more

This outdoor mall has plenty of stores & restaurants. It can get busy depending on the day so parking can be hard. There's also a movie theater & right in front of it a splash area for kids. I come but mostly during the week to avoid the crowd. I recommend but I'm not a fan of this part of Brevard. read more

I've lived my whole life here, I remember the grand opening of The Avenue in 2005, it has always been a wonderful shopping plaza and continues to grow more beautiful! However, the clothing shops are a bit bland. My husband used to shop at Pac Sun while my go to was Charlotte Russe, but even now those are gone! There really isn't a great place for teens/young adults to buy clothes other than old navy. It's either maternity or clothing stores aimed toward middle aged women. I feel like the avenue would do well with an H&M- something for all ages and sizes, as well as trendy & affordable. Same goes with food choices, adding a Starbucks or Einstein Bagel, even a BJ's or Cheesecake factory would really amplify the avenue! read more

If the weather outside is nice, this place is a great shopping/walking day. They have a good variety of retails store with specialty shops sprinkled inbetween. I like the flow of the buildings as opposed to a static straight line of stores. It gives the area a more relaxed vibe. On that note, there are plenty of places to sit as well. It looks like they've really taken their time to make sure there are nice things to look at, such as multiple water features and metal sculptures found throughout. There are even speakers located along walking paths, playing upbeat music that had me dancing with my boys as we went along. When it's time to eat you've got plenty of options. There are plenty of places you'd recognize and a few that are unique, like the Pizza Gallery. And if you're all done shopping they even have a movie theater onsite for all of your cinematic needs. I really wish this place was closer, but I'll definitely come back the next time I'm on this coast. read more

Having visited many town centres in various upscale communities in and around Atlanta, DC, Richmond, Summerlin in Vegas, even sleepy Montgomery Alabama, as well as other places across the country, this place is a poor copycat failure. First of all, it is arranged in a semicircle. That is a crackhead way to set up parking. Secondly, all the stores are on the outside of the parking lot. So you have to cross the entire parking lot to get to the other row of stores. And since it's curved, it's very difficult to get in or out of parking spaces, or to see pedestrians. Thirdly, there are very few covered areas. Town centres do a nice job with covering at least some of the areas for shade and from rain. But this place will get you completely sunburned and soaking wet in typical Florida weather. The assortment of stores is pretty decent, although for some reason Viera can't seem to get (or keep) many of the upscale stores competing malls in larger areas attract. Where the hell is Forever 21? Gap? Vickie's Secret? These b****** can't even get a Starbucks. There's a lot of money in the Viera area, and it's a shame franchisors are idiots. Most people looking for a decent shopping experience will drive 45 minutes to an hour away and visit the millenia mall in Orlando. Oh, and that's indoors with several parking garages. Apparently it's much less expensive to build an open air shopping center. I want to love this place, but there's a nut at the wheel. Give me 6 months and a couple million bucks and I'll turn this place into a phenomenal shopping experience. Get a clue, mall management. read more

Whosever idea it was to build an uncovered outside mall in Florida was a complete idiot. Whenever it's not 90 degrees outside of humid, it's pouring rain. The selection of stores is for a dying 80 year old woman, and the restaurants are far from average, but just multiple chain restaurants all being the same exact thing. The parking lot is just full of accidents waiting to happen full of its shrubbery trying to look "pretty". Horrible place really. read more

It's early September in Florida. It rains nearly every afternoon this time of year. And there is not one covered spot in the entire shopping center. Unless you're in a store, and people look at you funny if you're a man inside a woman's boutique trying to duck out of the rain. It's a lackluster collection of stores, missing many of the big stores you'd expect in a shopping center like this. I guess the economic study of the Viera area told the franchise stores to stay away from this area, which is a big mistake because there are a lot of people with a lot of disposable income around here. Most of the folks around here and drive to Orlando for decent shopping. So here's what needs to happen. An expansion of sorts, with some covered parking, and more pedestrian friendly areas with covered walkways. Because right now, it's just a sorry excuse for a wannabe outdoor mall. read more

Love the avenue but it would be great if there were a few more upscale dining options instead if the typical chains. World of beer is great but they don't serve food and bonefish grill is great but expensive. Someone needs to open something local in one of those empty buildings! read more

Some nice stores at The Avenue, but overall a very poorly designed shopping center, with the stores located around a huge central parking area. This means driving across the parking lot to get from, say, Belk to Michael's, or Sports Authority to World Market. Maybe the concept was to be different than a mall layout, but I find it very inconvenient, especially in summer when it's too hot to walk it. Also, getting in the parking lot is not bad, but getting out is unnecessarily convoluted, especially when it's busy. read more
