What a pleasant surprise! We got there and were greeted immediately. The lady took us to the dressing rooms and showed us the waiting room. They had teas & snacks available throughout. We had the couples massage with a couples soak. We did the soak first for about 25 mins. They had two glasses prefilled with mimosas & a carafe as well. Truffles (Lindtt... lol). The soak room could use a paint touch up. They rang a bell to let us know the soak was over and ready for the massage. We were taken to the room. Each masseuse asked us where we wanted them to focus on. It was roughly an 80 mins massage! We felt amazing after. They made sure to give us water & sit for a second. Staff was amazing and the place was clean & stocked well!

Canceled our appointment last min leaving us high and dry!

Recently stayed at Anderson Ocean Club Resort and had 2 massage days on a girl's trip. I had Lenora for my massage and she was AMAZING! It was possibly the best massage I've ever had. If you're ever in the area or staying at the resort REQUEST her and you will not be disappointed! TRULY HEAVENLY. read more

i am on vacation in Myrtle Beach and had the opportunity to get a massage at this spa. From the front office staff, of Theresa and Krystal , to the actual massage by Lanora, I was treated like I was the only customer they had. The soothing fragrances and essential oils are relaxing and the staff know how to make you feel comfortable and pampered. My massage was fabulous! I am always leery of spas I have not been to, because each masseuse is very different. I go regularly for a massage and like the masseuse to listen to what I want done as we progress. This rarely happens with a new person. They do their thing and try not to cause discomfort. This was not the case here. I explained the places Lanora should not work on and explained I needed her to apply pressure in certain places. Working with me as the massage progressed, I had all my knots worked out and at the end I was so relaxed and not a bit sore. If I lived here I would be a regular at this spa, asking for Lanora. She is amazing !!! read more

I visited this spa last week and was very dissatisfied with the wait time I experienced. I called to receive a 1 hour massage. The receptionist talked me into one of their specials: 30 minute mineral bath before my massage for $25. I decided to add this service, thinking my massage would start right after the bath. Another client was a half hour late for their service, therefore delaying my service by a half hour. I started off being really relaxed, but left feeling very frustrated that they penalized me for the other late client. They should have asked her to come back at another time. I also told them when I was booking that I was a Hilton Rewards Member, so I would receive the 15% discount. They charged me the full amount. I didn't notice this mistake until I was back home and when I called for the refund, they told me that I had to return the same day with my card and receipt in order to receive the refund. I was not able to return since I had vacation plans. I was happy with my massage from Anna, but I will not return based on customer service. read more

This is the best spa experience I've ever had! I've been to quite a few spas, and this was the most accommodating and relaxing experience yet. The staff is really great, and they treat all their clients like royalty. Theresa at the front desk took care of us right away and had suggestions to fit our needs. It was my husbands first time at a spa, and they explained everything to him and made sure he had a great first experience. We had Lakyra and Garrie do our couples massage and they were AMAZING. My husband even got a facial afterwards because he was having such a great experience. The spa is beautiful and very clean. Afterwards we sat in the relaxation lounge, and the staff came in to offer tea or water and snacks. They even got me a blanket and pillow to prop my feet up! The staff really takes care of their clients and make sure they know how important they are to the spa. I felt like royalty! We will definitely be back again. read more

My second visit to The Awakening Spa did not disappoint! My day started with a friendly "welcome back" from Kristal and then a relaxing moment in the relaxation area. Gwen, my therapist for the day, greeted me and took me to the mineral bath room where you could spend the day! After a nice long soak, Gwen treated me to my first hot stone massage. There are no words for how wonderful that was! Gwen took her time finding tension spots that I didn't know existed! I highly recommend this wonderful session. When it was time to leave I had the pleasure of meeting Jeannie, the spa manager, who helped me with the purchase of a few products. You have to visit this wonderful place. LaKara was excellent. She was gentle and firm. My massage made me so relaxed and I wanted it to go on another hour because I was so tense. I told her I would continue to get a full body massage to relieve my stress. I felt wonderful after my spa day. Now my mind and body is feeling better. It's time for me. This was my first ever Spa Treatment, and I must return and bring my daughter to share the experience with her. Maria took the Greatest care of me during my Combo Body Treatment. The quietness, combined with relaxing music, sounds of water, and perfect lighting made it all the more wonderful. I don't recall ever being so relaxed! I recently vacationed in Myrtle Beach and treated myself to a massage and mineral bath at The Awakening Spa. It was a five-star experience in every way. My massage therapist, Jennifer, was amazing. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The mineral bath add-on is a must - such a peaceful and inspirational environment created for rest and restoration. We had a mineral soak first which was heavenly while eating truffles and drinking Champagne, the only thing missing was some soft music that could have made this part of the experience even more pleasant.
