Communication= will someone answer my telephone call, text or email with any question before, during or after installation? 2. Knowledge= does this business know about the product, manufacturer, or are they just a good sales person? 3. Price= is the price competitive with other quotes? 4. Installation = Is the installer someone that is a regular and known for quality work? 5. on time= the appointment to measure, materials delivery, scheduled installation? I'm a "white glover" and expect reasonable cleanup during and after a job is completed. Outstanding experience with Carol And Brett At B&C Flooring. I was certain I wanted a grey color tile but was undecided when I came into their showroom. I was helped by Brett at first and he showed me lots of different styles.. still undecided I came back the next day and Carol layed them out on the floor and gave me a good minds eye visual and she picked the same one Brett did..so ..great minds think alike. I was having trouble with my contractor so they fit me into their schedule to have them installed while I was on vacation "perfect" I was thrilled to see after a few days how beautiful they looked. Excellent service and installation. Carol, Brett and our installer Steve were a pleasure to work with. We just had our kitchen backsplash installed, and although it was a small job we are very happy with their service, and it looks great. We checked out 2 other local tile stores in the area before going to B and C, one wouldn't give us the time of day due to the small job, the other was more expensive. We can't wait to re-do our bathroom next year! read more

Walked into B & C last fall and was greeted by Brett. He showed us several ceramic tiles. We chose one and took a sample home to see how it would look in our condo. We called Brett the following day to tell him we wanted to go with the tile that we took home and he came out 4 or 5 days later to take measurements. He said we would get the estimate in a couple of days. Two weeks later we called him to see if the estimate was ready and he said it was and he would send it out the following day. Two weeks later, no estimate. Called those great people from Dover, great work and great price. And unlike B & C they had in-house installers. Shame on me for waiting so long for B & C . Very unprofessional and absolutely no value put on other people's time. read more

We used B & C for bathroom tile on our 1st DIY home remodel project. (If you want some lessons learned; drop me a line). After looking at the 2 big tile stores in Woburn,MA and a couple local flooring stores locally in Newburyport area, I knew what I wanted. I ended up stumbling upon B&C on my lunch hour as its near my office and saw same tile from another store I was going to work with but the Sales manager was a bit of a nudge. Price was similar maybe a few dollars more or less but the customer service won me over. So I hit some DIY roadblocks... Ran out of grout and short on tile, Bret was able to get more in quickly. Overall A++ customer service and quality products. I plan on using them for our next bath remodel project that won't be a DIY. read more

Poor service. Lack of communication. Too laid back for me. Carpet came in, but no one called to say it was in because they didn't have anyone to install. If I hadn't called them, I'd still be wondering. So I asked for install the following week. Seemed reasonable. It took a week for them to respond, then they wanted to install the next day! OK will accommodate them, and asked for specific install time because I had to drive an hour to meet installer. Where is the installer? Again, I had to initiate call to find out he would be 1.5 hours late. Even had to ask for an invoice after giving 50% payment upon order weeks ago. Never again. read more

I'm not sure what happened here, but our small bathroom tiling project (less than 80 square feet) took SIX DAYS to complete. The contractor that Brett had working for him (if you have Shannen working on your floors.. Run far far away), was literally the worst contractor that I have ever experienced, and that's saying a lot. I have never seen anyone work so little, work so slow, and complain so much. He showed up late, left early, and made excuse after excuse for why things were taking longer than anticipated. SIX DAYS... 80 square feet, folks. We had guys rebuild our entire basement in half that time. The price was decent for the tile, but the work is so poor, I probably could have done a better job myself. The grout doesn't go all the way to the wall, it's uneven in places, and I'm pretty sure I'll be scraping grout off of some tiles until the day that I die. We had a different set of guys do our shower and the work is completely night and day. Majorly disappointed with the way this process went. I won't be returning here for our next project. read more
