We wanted to purchase from somewhere close and since we were furnishing a 2nd home wear and tear is not going to be what it would be if we were living there full time. Within one week of delivery a seam was splitting on the ottoman (which we had never even sat on). Getting repairs is an absolute NIGHTMARE and a complete time suck. From calling to getting someone at the house to look at the issue took 6 weeks. Then 6 weeks to order whatever is needed to fix a seam (apparently we have to replace the entire cushion) and just got a call to schedule Ashley repairs to come out to actually do the repair - they left a message and I called them back within 15 mins - entire month of July for repairs is full. They will call me mid July to book hopefully for August. Mind you the couch was delivered in November. This long for a split seam - by time it is repaired will likely be 9/10 months from purchase. I will never ever ever purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley. Had this gone well i would have purchased more for our place - but nope, bought everything else (and we had to furnish the entire place) at different places. Do better Ashley or be honest with your customers about the repair process if there are issues!

Totally different shopping experience…read more Maybe it has to do with their location, but we had the whole place to ourselves most of the time we were there. Upon entering we were greeted right away by Doug. I remember Doug because he has quite the personality - in a good way. He asked us what we were looking for and showed us around the whole sales floor. Slumberland and Ashley have very similar items, Slumberland also sells Ashley brand furniture. After 45 minutes or so we left without buying anything. As far as the shopping experience, I didn't feel there was any pressure to buy and appreciated that no one was looking over our shoulder. The variety was just right. Lots of nice little accent pieces that caught my attention maybe more so than the furniture did. 4/5 stars because most of the guys working were taking smoke breaks out the side door of the building. When they would come back inside they'd bring the cigarette smoke with them.

Low and behold, four minutes from our condo is a futon place! We come in and are warmly greeted by Jordan. The store itself is full of art work and plants which is the perfect environment to try out the different futon mattresses and see how the frames work. Jordan listened to our wants and needs the entire process and thoroughly explained features and benefits of each item. We went with the mattress that they make in store and the darker stained wooden frame (one pictured) and couldn't be happier. They brought it to our place and set it up for FREE and it took not even 15 minutes. I 10/10 recommended going here if you are looking for a futon no matter what your price point is. They were knowledgeable about the mattresses, and when I wanted to make a phone call home to confirm the mattress type we were getting, they both immediately turned around and walked some distance away across the store so we could have more privacy. I thought that was nice and we never felt pressured. Paying and scheduling the delivery were easy, but if I had one complaint, it would be that they didn't tell us that the frame wasn't included in the price. A few days later, they called to say that the delivery had to be pushed forward a day and Serta wasn't giving them any good reasons for it to pass on to us. They made sure that that was OK and then they refunded the cost of the bed frame as an apology without my even asking. I wasn't even mad, actually, but they seemed to feel genuinely bad about it. In summary, our experience almost couldn't have been better. I'd definitely recommend them.
