She managed to find a stash in service and eventually figured out how to correctly enter the sale into what seemed like an overly complicated inventory system. A sad day for Kalona -- one more piece of humanity disappeared. I'll never go back.

The compressor runs all the time, which might be because the air vents were never properly unwrapped upon delivery and are still jammed with styrofoam. We contacted Grand Appliance and they said to contact Centricity, who handles repairs. Centricity said to contact Whirlpool, who said they could not help us. Looks like the warranty is no longer honored, and we'll be stuck paying for a simple repair.
