    S'more's cream cheese, rainbow bagel

This place just opened near my apartment so I've been super excited to try it! Since it is fairly new, the line is always a bit long but we went on a Saturday morning around 11am, and the line was kind of long but not too bad. Me and my friend ordered a savory bagel and a sweet bagel to split. They have a huge assortment of different specialty cream cheeses including cannoli, birthday cake, jalapeno cheddar, etc, all of which you are allowed to sample. We wanted the birthday cake cream cheese but sadly they were all out of it. We ended up getting the rainbow bagel with smore's cream cheese on it and a bagel sandwich with a hashbrown, egg, and sausage on an everything bagel. There are a lot of options to customize your bagel sandwich, and they have a lot of pre-made combos to choose from as well. The sandwich was so so good, and I definitely would go back and get it again. I also really liked the smore's cream cheese - and I'm not even a super big cream cheese fan - so recommend that as well. We did have to wait awhile, I think because something was going on with our order, so honestly I would go early.

I guess cutting a bagel in half is a not a thing?

Bagels are good but waiting 15-20 mins. for one bagel while everyone who came after you has been served and left is ridiculous, can't say I will be coming back. Quality has gone down since opening.

Good bagel spot! I got the Asiago bagel with lox cc and it def satisfied my bagel craving. A bit pricey but I would totally come back

Bagels were good and fresh! Even at 1 pm still tasted good! Service was a bit slow but it was busy so I get it. I'd go again

I wish we had this near us. It was the best bagel experience I've ever had! The salmon and all the shear options were phenomenal.

The Bagel Bakery offer a nice variety of bagels, along with other baked goods, sandwiches, wraps, coffees, and plenty of cream cheeses. Their bagels are made fresh throughout the morning. I would recommend going earlier in the day in order to have the best, freshest variety before they sell out. The workers are some of the nicest people. They are all super helpful and very friendly. When it came to ordering, they were extremely helpful and patient. Ordering is really easy and the staff does an amazing job handling customers. Service is just 10/10! The inside is welcoming and comfortable. With a decent amount of seating option, both inside and out, it is a great place to go with friends. I ended up ordering a toasted bacon-cheddar bagel with spinach & artichoke cream cheese. The bagel was phenomenal, I have absolutely no complaints. Super soft and fresh, the texture was wonderful. I wouldn't consider this a New York styled bagel, but it was still better than any of the other bagels I've had in Gainesville. The bagel had real bacon on it, which made all the difference in the bacon flavor. The cheddar was sharp, but not overpowering. The spinach-artichoke cream cheese was like nothing I'd had before. With actual pieces of artichokes in it, it was perfection. The texture of the cream cheese was also nice. Not too thick, but necessary whipped, I thoroughly enjoyed it! While I was checking out their cookies caught my eye and I added a chocolate chip one to my order. The cashier offered me a free day old cookie from the previous that they couldn't sell. This was very generous and appreciated! The chocolate cookies were very good. I appreciated the different chunks of chocolate in the cookie. The base of the cookie had a good buttery, brown sugar taste...delicious! The free, day-old cookie obviously wasn't as fresh as the ladder, but still good nonetheless. The cookies were so satisfying I actually came back to order another one. I ordered the lemon blueberry one and the cashier, once again, offered me another free cookie. The lemon-blueberry cookie was also amazing. Buttery, with a tangy lemon flavor, the cookie was really moist. The other free cookie I got was a caramel chip one. This was more of a crunchy cookie with chunks of caramelized caramel pieces and white chocolate chips. You really can't go wrong with any of the baked good here. I do appreciate the fact that they prioritize selling fresh baked goods each day! Overall, I was blown away with the Bagel Bakery. Honestly I'm kicking myself because I haven't come here sooner. The bagels are extremely fresh, with a great variety, and the perfect texture. The cream cheeses are great as well and have a nice consistency. Everything had so much flavor here. I think that is proof they use good ingredients and take pride in their craft. All the cookies I tried were amazing and shouldn't be missed either. The service is above and beyond. Really made the whole experience even better. This place feels like a local place and they treat their customers so well. Next time I come I will have to try more of their bagels (obviously), but also try some of their other baked goods too! It is safe to say I will be returning. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here over any other bagel place in the area.

So I'm originally from the NYC area and I have a lot of bagel experience. Right off the bat I'll tell you this is not a traditional bagel experience. The bagels themselves I found kind of chewy and missing the standard varieties I'm used to. Their house cured nova lox was a little lacking in flavor for my taste but very colorful. They have a large variety of spreads and a lot of vegan options which seems to be the mode in a college town like Gainesville. Personally it's not for me as I'm a bagel purist but my understanding is there are times when folks are waiting up to 40 minutes to chow down a Humblewood bagel. So folks, what do I know.

Honestly, it tasted like something I could've made at home. The eggs were fine and the bagel was okay, just nothing memorable. The space itself is cute and I liked the vibe. The mural and overall setup are nice, and it's a solid option if you're already in the area and want something quick and simple. Ordering was easy and everything was straightforward. Overall, it's not bad, just nothing special. It gets the job done, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

There is plenty of seating and the staff is very friendly. Since it is located in Midtown, parking could be tricky. It wasn't super busy when we arrived, but it seems to be a popular spot amongst college students. The menu offers a nice variety of asian dishes and they also serve breakfast/brunch on the daily. The interior appeared sort of "run down", but in the best way possible. It was still inviting and provided for a nice, laid back sort of meal. The food doesn't take too long to come out either and it is made fresh to order. We ended up ordering the steamed dumplings as an appetizer. I also ordered a cup of miso soup. The dish comes with 5 decent size dumplings. They are handmade and packed with filling. I appreciated the flavorful pork and the amount of it in them. My miso soup was pretty standard, nothing too special. But is hit the spot on a chilly evening. For our entrees, my friend ordered the beef udon, while I ordered the Lemongrass chicken. The portions are pretty large and we found it to be quite filling. My friend said this was some of the best udon she'd had. The broth was very flavorful, the beef was tender, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The only thing she didn't like as much was the fried egg, opposed to the more traditional hard boiled egg. My lemongrass chicken was satisfying as well. It came with a copious amount of chicken, with a really tangy sauce over it. The rice was overcooked, which was disappointing. Overall, Bagels and Noodles is a wonderful asian eatery located in Midtown. Its location is prime for college students and I can see why it is so popular. The service is very good and personable. The "hole in the wall" feel of the restaurant makes the atmosphere! The food is made with lots of love and it was served fresh and hot. The dumplings are amazing and I would recommend. My friend is already dying to come back and explore more of their noodle dishes. I will definitely be returning and look forward to trying more things!
