We contracted Jeff to play at the birthday party of my wife's father who was turning 90 in May of 2018. My father-in-law is from Scotland and really gets emotional at great playing of the pipes. Jeff played bagpipes for my father's memorial last weekend. Bagpipes were one of my father's final requests. The setting was an enchanting park with a huge willow tree standing by a serene sunlit pond. Because the private ceremony was in a public park, many strangers came by to comment on the beautiful music being played during the memorial service. Our family and friends all felt that Jeff's playing the bagpipes was an incredible addition to the service. The songs he chose were uplifting rather than sad just as we had requested, and he presented a natural ability to know when to play, when to stand still, and when to stroll. I will always have a special memory of Jeff walking down the park path playing his bagpipes, and my father's granddaughter and great-granddaughter only a few feet behind him marching along. He truly is a bagpiper who is admired by the young and old!
