I like! Neat little place got ultra popular ultra fast. The cookies are actually so delicious and taste fresh (unlike many other places that have them sitting out all day and they get hard and chewy!) The butter cookie is my all time favorite and I am now addicted, baking my own every weekend! I admire the casual hangout vibe in and around this restaurant and those around it. It would be a great spot to go shopping then cool down around here while devouring a treat! This place is worth the trip for those that don't live nearby. read more

We ended up at The Baked Bear after a long day of shopping. My girls loved the experience of being able to fully customize the treats and we were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the employees were in spite of being packed. That being said we paid almost $40 for 5 ice cream sandwiches. To put that into perspective we had eaten lunch at Pieology and spent just over $40. That's just craziness. If we go again we will definitely split sandwiches and then it will be a bit easier to handle. read more

Not bad, not bad! I have a sweet tooth so The Baked Bear was a must visit. Service was good. The employees were nice and knowledgeable with products. They have a lot of choices! I went with a chocolate chip cookie and brownie with cookies and cream ice cream in between. Even though I have a sweet tooth, it was a bit much for me. It was overly sweet! That might've been my fault for ordering it that way. I think it would taste great with just one cookie or brownie instead of both. You also have to eat it fast because if not, it gets too soggy. If I go back, I think I would order the ice cream on top of a warm brownie or cookie. They give you the option of warming it up. They call this the bear bowl. I would definitely go back. I'm going to say this visit was 4.5 stars because of the service and many choices. read more

We tried the bear bowl which was pretty good. The brownie was tasty, but the ice cream wasn't creamy. $17 for two bear bowls seems steep to me, plus there isn't enough seating inside. Considering it's El Paso and summers are hot, they should invest in some form of shade for all the seating outside. read more

Had the brownie bowl with blackberry crumble ice cream-it was delicious! The cookies are soft and chewy and you can buy a box of a dozen assorted "day olds" for $6. There is very limited seating inside and there is no shade for the tables outside. Prepare to pay around $6+ for an ice cream sandwich, it's good, but not life changing. read more

Yum!!! So excited to have this chain in El Paso. You may be thinking that it's just another ice cream sandwich shop...but you're wrong! True, you can get this item at Baskin Robbins, Insomnia, etc. but there's a MASSIVE difference. First off, the cookies are NOT taken for granted here--they are the centerpiece! Freshly baked, chewy and perfect, specially designed to have a scoop of cold creamy ice cream in between. To my delight, the brownies were excellent too! Not your ordinary Little Debbie brownies unpackaged and served like they do at Marble Slab. These are moist, fudgy brownies that make a wonderful sandwich layer! The ice cream options were another great surprise. Awesome flavors and great quality! You have to eat it fast though because there's barely any seating inside and the summer heat will melt that baby in 2 minutes! Luckily, the sandwiches are delicious so you probably won't have difficulty wolfing it down. I only have two critiques: the donuts were very mediocre and dry--don't waste an order on them! Also, the store kind of smelled like a pet shop (as my friend pointed out to me), and that was a huge turnoff to staying indoors. Pictures look great on the website however the cookies are very dry and I thought they will taste special. Unfortunately they tasted like any other cookie you buy from a store if not worse.
