It wasn't very chocolately, or like it tasted like fake chocolate, which was disappointing. He got me a mango matcha lemonade (special) and it was really good but didn't taste like matcha at all (it was super green though). The highlight of our experience has to be the little chocolate treats. He got a variety, salted caramel, dark chocolate peanut butter cup and a few white chocolate treats which were beautiful and delicious. Service was just ok but we stopped in right before closing on a busy Sunday afternoon. I don't think we ordered the best so I would definitely give this place another try, maybe for their specialty milkshake or hot chocolate. And when I do, I'll update my review accordingly.

I preordered a two-tier lemon cake for my daughter's baby shower for $139, along with two dozen cookies for another $80. Just 15 minutes before I was supposed to pick up the order, the bakery called to tell me that a mistake had been made and they had made the wrong kind of cake. They offered me several alternatives, but with a baby shower about to happen, I obviously didn't have much choice but to accept what was available. What surprised me most at the time was that there was no real apology and no offer to discount the cake despite the mistake. The cake looked nice on the outside, but when we cut into it at the shower, we discovered that the top tier was lemon and the bottom tier was chocolate. The chocolate cake was good, but unfortunately the lemon cake was very dry. The cookies we ordered as party favors were good, so this isn't a complaint about everything we received. What was especially disappointing was having approximately 25 guests at the shower asking about the cake and knowing that I couldn't honestly recommend a bakery I had previously spoken highly of. Afterward, rather than immediately posting a negative review, I took the time to write the owner a letter explaining what had happened and how disappointed I was. I felt that some acknowledgment, apology, or partial refund/discount on the cake would have been appropriate. I never received a response. Mistakes happen, and I absolutely understand that. What determines whether I continue supporting a business is how those mistakes are handled. A last-minute error with an expensive cake for an important event was disappointing; receiving no response when I reached out privately afterward was even more so. Unfortunately, after this experience, I can't recommend this bakery or feel comfortable ordering another special-occasion cake from them.

You continue through a threshold to the counter where the selection of goodies reside. The young man working the counter was friendly, chatty and polite. He did, however, put the cupcakes in their take out container incorrectly. Instead of placing the cake on the "bottom" piece, he dropped them into the "container" piece, and popped the bottom on as the top. I didn't realize his mistake until we tried to get the cakes out of the container, which proved to be a very difficult task. A bit of training on packaging may be in order. LOL! Since it was Mother's Day, I chose one of the Mother's Day chocolate cupcakes, along with a Mint Chocolate Cupcake. The frosting is mounded high on the mini-cakes, for sure! I am a frosting lover, so seeing the amount of frosting made my heart leap for sugar joy. The mint chocolate was definitely minty! I liked the frosting! Unfortunately, the cake part was very dry. The frosting was delish, but the cake was mediocre. Way too dry with a "day old" vibe about it. Very unfortunate, and for $6.00, I definitely expected better. The Mother's Day cupcake was good. The chocolate cake tasted fresh and moist. The frosting was nice, too. This definitely was the better of the two. Were they worth $6.00? I'm not sure, tbh. I know things are more expensive and baking is no cheap venture, but if I'm going to pay 6.00 for a cupcake, I do expect more than just "good". I will go back again and try some of the other creations, but only for a special occasion. I can definitely make my own for a lot less. I do hope they succeed though. I would recommend trying them out, and seeing if you find a cupcake you love. I think a small child would love picking out a fun, colorful cupcake as a special treat. They had a lot of different variety to choose from, so I'm hoping I find that one WOW cupcake soon!

Your lot was full, so we briefly parked on the street and were asked to move. That's fine, but it added time. When we got in, we were told it was a 45-minute wait and that we could get pastries to go. We started eating inside near the counter, but the owner asked us to leave the dining area. We ended up standing in the parking lot to eat, and my husband had to give himself an insulin shot out there, which was honestly embarrassing. In your reply, you mentioned patio seating and coffee, but none of that was offered to us. I understand that others may have better visits, but this was our experience and I think it is fair to share it. We were really disappointed with our experience at Wanda's. Parking was difficult, and after parking once we were told to move. Inside a 45-minute wait, so we opted for grab and go. Unfortunately, all 3 pastries tasted stale. Then, when we tried to find a place to eat them, we were told we couldn't stay and ended up eating standing in parking lot. Between the parking hassle, long wait, stale food, and feeling unwelcome, it just wasn't the experience we'd hoped.

She had told me she had came from Bend which was kind of cool because I had just came from bend earlier in my travels. The man said he had a grudge against me from the previous day where we had maybe a 2-minute conversation about pretty much nothing and he walked away. I thought that was the end of it. I came in today to get some food. Some sweets and a few drinks and head home like a normal human being. This man wanted to deal with his psychological issues pertaining to yesterday's incident when I had no recollection of said incident. I told him I knew nothing about what he was talking about the day before and that he seemed like a good-hearted person and we could have a good conversation. He proceeded to tell me that wasn't the case and that he wanted to have words and physically harm me in some way outside. He then was talked to by the bartenders and left without incident. I just don't understand how people can be the way they are when all I'm trying to do is have a nice summer vacation for myself and Liv in a way that keeps the peace. On a side note, the food is delicious. They have good prices on alcoholic drinks and their pastries are phenomenal. Just watch out if you see a bald guy that works there cuz I don't want other people to have to deal with that kind of confrontation. They had old game boards hung up like wall paper, it was neat to see some that I almost forgot about as a child. I saw they had a ribeye special that I wished I would have tried.
