Two nice hostesses welcomed us at the front door and made a rather pleasant first impression. The bar had choices of food and beverage, the room appeared very clean and the music was just right for us. One hostess was particularly attentive about our choice of table and described such details as pocket sizes and table sizes and also pointed at Brunswick and Diamond brands in the room. We played a nine foot table which was in a very good condition. There was comfortable enough space between tables and we enjoyed the game and the atmosphere. People around the room were nice and friendly. This is really a family place.

She also kept inquiring if another lady of the same ethnicity had been with my group when I clarified our group number multiple times. She needs to learn customer service -- while talking to another customer, very loud saying that she's from North Carolina. Either a bad day or bad attitude, but honestly looked like it was both. I won't type it all out here but there's more too.

They have seating inside and in the patio area which is heated. We arrived on time but had to wait a little bit before getting a table. We sat in the patio area and they had to turn off the heat because it was too hot. Better to be too hot than cold. We ordered a couple drinks to start and they brought us waters as well. For our appetizers and entrees which we shared were french fries, UNI AMAEBI DONBURI, PORK JOWL, and the SHOJI BURGER. The fries came out first and were cooked perfect crunchy, and the sauces that came with it was a nice addition. The Uni Amaebi Donburi came second and it was really good, light, fresh, and overall delicious. Too bad it was a small dish with a big price. The Burger came out afterwards and it was delicious. The burger was cooked perfect, and the cheese flavor was very tasty. It was a great burger. We didn't order desserts so that will have to be next time. The service was really good because they were really busy. I would recommend reservations. The price is a little high so be prepared. i'd still come back to try other dishes because the food and service was excellent.

I finally got to try it and walked in on a Saturday right at opening for a party of 2. We waited probably about 15 minutes and were sat in the back patio. The interior space was beautifully done and looked very elevated. The back patio also looked nice, but definitely gave off a different vibe. The service was great, no complaints there. Everybody was super nice and attentive. The food also came out fairly quickly. What we ordered: - Donburi ($53) - 5/5 - Pork Jowl ($28) - 4/5 - Akazu Fries ($10) - 3/5 - NA Cold noodle mocktail ($18) - 4/5 - NA Dashi Apple mocktail ($15) - 5/5 - Shoji Burger ($28) - 4/5 - Ceviche ($25) - 4/5 Total after tax/tip - $236.50 Objectively, the food and drinks were pretty good. Our favorites were the donburi (of course) and the dashi apple mocktail. Some cons: - how expensive it was for the amount of food. Some reviews mentioned the donburi was tiny (which it was) - no bigger than my hand. - Almost all the dishes we got were finger foods but kind of hard to eat. The ceviche with the nori chips would fall apart. The dark nori seasoning got all over our hands and was difficult to get off with just the cloth napkin. The shoji burger was covered in cheese which we assumed was finger food since they didn't offer any knives. The donburi was filled to the top in this bowl which was small so you have to be very careful scooping out. In addition, the seasoning from the seaweed was a bit oily as well. Maybe offering a wet wipe or napkin at the end of the meal would be a nice touch. I guess it was a bit confusing given the elevated / upscale vibe it was giving off but could improve in the small details. Not sure if I can say I recommend or not but would be willing to give it another chance. Perhaps try the experience inside instead.

I love that it's multi-leveled and has high ceilings as it makes it feel more spacious, because it can get crowded. There is a wide variety of arcade games and pinball machines with various wait times depending on the crowd. They also have plenty of large screens all around that run games, movies, and or music videos. Drinks at the bar aren't bad and like others have mentioned, the bartenders can be a hit or miss. I've encountered several chill bartenders, others not so much. Same goes for the security at the entrance. Overall, Emporium is a fun venue to check out if you are in the area.

The security guy working on Friday night of Aug 14, 2026 literally went above and beyond to help us look for my friend's ring. He even climbed onto the game and also crawled underneath as well. Super sweet guy! Before we left, we also saw him come back with extra tokens to give to the people who got their game interrupted by him. Luckily we eventually found her ring, but I definitely wanted to leave a review to highlight his efforts. Additionally, I appreciate the free cold water that they provide & also the clean restrooms and no cover fee. It also wasn't overpriced for the arcade games & they also had some free board games lying around as well.
