    Flautas were delicious!
    Carol M.

OMg! Where to start! This gem is located in the Marriott Riverwalk hotel. The view of the riverfront is spectacular, especially at night with the lights!!!! We had the pleasure of having dinner and lunch here on two different days and they were both 2 great experiences! First night in town went there for dinner and drinks and it was amazing! Food and drinks on point! We ordered flautas, nachos and wings! Yum!! The spicy mango margaritas were phenomenal!! Two days later we had lunch and again a great experience! I had the lime shrimp which were phenomenal! They were fried And combined with cherry peppers, jalapeños, lettuce, small tomatoes and a fantastic aioli that brought the whole dish together! My husband had the burger and he said it was delicious! We had to have those spicy mango margaritas again and they totally hit the spot again! A hidden gem with top notch hospitality and great food, drinks and ambiance!

This was a really good burger at the hotel restaurant where you can sit inside or outside. I was greeted right away as their wasn't a lot of people during lunch. I had the brisket burger and fries. The brisket was tender and was a whole meal with the onion rings and double burger patties. The fries were crispy and delicious. Some of the better food in hotels I have had.

We have stayed at this property before and enjoyed the atmosphere and the food at the bar though we couldn't book a room this time at this property we returned to enjoy the ambiance, I recommend this pub for a drink and a quick bite.

This bar is located right in the Marriott Riverwalk Hotel. The bar itself is very small L shaped with only about 6 chairs. But there are lots of low tables, high tables and couches for more seating. A handful of TV's are on the walls. There is an outside long balcony area, great view of the Riverwalk! Plenty of seating out here too! We spent a lot of time on the comfy couch with the wooden table ....perfect place for your drink and appetizers. Our group had the steak fajita nachos... great combo so much chessy goodness! My faviorite local beer here was the Alamo golden ale, light and refreshing. Katherine was our bartender most of the time I was in town. She is amazing, fast and accurate creating our drinks super friendly. Also she gave great recommendations for what appetizers to order as well as what local restaurants we needed to check out.

It is next to the Make Ready food hall and makes for a perfect 1 - 2 punch of activity. We arrived right at the tail end of Happy hour, so I order an Old Fashioned and found a spot at their outdoor patio. The patio is pet friendly and they do have live music. My drink was made well and made for a nice evening as the weather outside was nice and the live one-man band added some nice ambience. I can see why downtown residents would like to hang out in this area. Overall, I really liked the vibe of this laid-back icehouse and look forward to coming back to experience more.

The interior of Idle is very nicely designed with good branding and a great setting to hang out. It's spacious so it never feels overly crowded. We talked to one of the bartenders once who told us they are connected to Golden Gopher in LA, which we had been to in downtown LA. They always have sports on their large TVs. You can also order food from Make Ready food hall and eat there which is pretty amazing. They have some snacks you can order as well and once I went when they had a taco vendor as a pop up. So cute! Family friendly and they have a large outdoor space where kids can run around. They do have a cut off time when they become 21 and up. Parking is either on the street or a surface lot close by.

I will say the GPS got a little confused in the route for some reason and I nearly missed an exit and even the entrance (there was some construction going on) There is plenty of parking, but the parking lot was pretty full. You walk up and either walk through the courtyard style Biergarten with tables or you can go inside. It was an unseasonably nice day, so, we opted to sit outside There is a QR code to view the menus. There are entrees and plenty of apps/sharables. There is also a very extensive beer menu. Make no mistake, this is their bread and butter. They boast an imprecise "99 beers on tap." There's local brews, light and dark beers, hoppy, Belgium style, German style, wheat, etc etc etc. if that's not your speed there are cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Our server was fantastic. She was very kind and patient with us. We were constantly checked in on, but not in a hovering way or a pressure to leave. Our food and drinks always came out in a timely manner. She made us feel well taken care of The drinks hit the spot, and the food was tasty. It was definitely a chill vibe/hang. We were there for hours just catching up, and we saw other happy hours, birthday parties, dates, bachelorette parties, etc Some tips: I did order a couple beers that they were temporarily out of, but there are so many beers to pivot to. Also, our server was incredibly helpful in offering other suggestions, similar suggestions, and asking the right questions to help land in the next alternative They are not open Mondays, and they're only open until 11pm Tuesday-Thursday (and Sunday). Friday and Saturday they're open til 1am. Also, on Saturdays and Sunday's they offer brunch from 11am-3pm) The Reuben was surprisingly delicious Cheers!!

It's been a while since have done brunch and o won't be in a hurry to return to brunch specifically The service was superb, we had a great server and he was absolutely on top of everything which was great! Beers were also great as was the mimosa I had and the kids we were with seemed to like their meals which came out last and they said theirs were hot - ours were not unfortunately. I had the Lox eggs Benedict and in retrospect should have sent it back as it was stone cold! My husband and our friend got the biscuits and gravy and also reported that they were cold - it was also served in a bowl which was a bad idea as the biscuits completely soaked up the gravy and resembled oatmeal by the time it hit the table! We got one meal - waffles and chicken to go and the waffles were inedible- poorly mixed, gritty and so much hot sauce in the mixture that they burned the back of the throat - they had to be trashed ! I love this place but won't return in a hurry for brunch - granted multiple dishes with eggs are hard to time right so we ended up with cold food that did however taste good

Her artistry and craftsmanship with the drinks were truly impressive. Not only was my drink absolutely delicious, but it was also beautifully prepared. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it definitely elevated the entire experience. The atmosphere was fantastic. The live music created the perfect ambiance, and sitting on the River Walk with a cold drink, a gentle breeze, and live music on a hot June evening after a long day was exactly what I needed. If you have the opportunity, definitely ask to sit in Bella's section. She is attentive, personable, and an absolute sweetheart. Experiences like this are what keep people coming back. Between Bella's outstanding service, Destiny's incredible bartending, and Jeremy's hands-on leadership, this team delivered an exceptional dining experience. 10/10. Highly recommend!
