I'm disappointed with the customer service experience regarding our reservation at this property…read more My family was traveling home from Florida to Louisville, Kentucky, including my 86-year-old aunt and several children. We originally booked this SpringHill Suites location as our overnight stop. As our drive progressed, we realized we could safely make it farther up the road, so we booked another SpringHill Suites by Marriott location instead. We did not cancel our trip, switch to a cheaper hotel, or take our business elsewhere -- we intentionally stayed loyal to the Marriott brand and paid for another Marriott property. I completely understand that we booked a prepaid rate with restrictions, but I reached out asking if they would consider a goodwill exception since Marriott still received our business. The initial response simply repeated the cancellation policy. I politely explained the situation further and asked for reconsideration, but I never received a follow-up response. Policies are important, but so is customer service. Sometimes taking care of a loyal customer and looking at the full circumstances is what separates an average experience from a great one. A simple acknowledgment or willingness to help would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling like the reservation policy mattered more than the customer relationship.

Some of the RVs were older and some in disrepair. However, having stayed a little over a week, we would absolutely return. The customer service is top notch. The bathrooms are pretty clean and I really was SO HAPPY to see a bath tub and handicap accessible restrooms! I used that bath tub to soak one night and can't say how happy I am that the option existed. The place is quiet. In Feb, all you could hear were frogs (I adored!) at night. The patrons are very kind. Many wave to you and will come say hi just to strike up a chat. No dog poop anywhere, it seems most people pick up. There was even a pond on property to visit and it contains catfish. Plus, everything is 5 mins from the park. Walmart. Tractor supply. Lowes. Red lobster. Chili's. Applebees. A wash and fold laundromat that picks up and delivers for less than $2/pound. We don't visit Tifton often, but when we do I think we will revisit this location. Can't beat 30 bucks a night and FHU ‍

The lady even said this when they confirmed since this establishment would be closed. When the 26th came around and we drove 1 hour to pick up the Uhaul and start moving out of Tifton, we got to Walker rentals and the truck was NOT staged for 24/7 pickup. of the 2 different numbers none were answered so we just left a message and got No response up to and including 3 days later. (Still no response from Walker Automotive.) We called Uhaul and they said there was nothing they could do for us and that there was nothing within a 10 mile radius. When the nation wide scheduling (wherever it is) opened at 9am we called them and luckily the woman found one within 2 miles (how the guy missed it the first call is beyond me) but this cost us 2 hours wasted and even more money in gas and mileage since the truck we ended up picking up was BONE EMPTY. that 2 hours while it may not seem like a lot of time, it is when you have your day planned out and and you also have help scheduled to help us when we got back to Valdosta , and who couldn't stay later so they weren't able to help much. 3 days later and we still haven't heard a peep from walker rental/automotive and the Uhaul Guarantee ....... please.. that's bullshit..
