I've come here several times so far for a hair cut and a beard trim, and even when I cut all my hair off for Locks of Love. Heather Marie usually cuts my hair and she does a good job. Chris is the man. Found this place about a year ago or so when I canceled my dollar shave club account and decided to live a beard lifestyle. Wandered in after about 3 months of beard growth. Just wild and everywhere. Chris tightened it up, shaped it and got it going. Every 10 days or so since he tricks it out right. It's been about a year now and its still working towards lumberjack status but its working. I don't have the quick beard growing gene so it takes some time but the Barbery is doing their part. I had taken some time off of hair cuts and was looking pretty shabby. Jordan took on the task of deciphering my vague goals and implementing them. I now look trendy yet professional as a result of her hard work. I could not be more pleased. I saw some other folks getting a straight razor shave (one a head shave and the other a face shave) so it is offered. I may go for that next time. Appointment is recommended for shaves. After moving into to town I was unsure of where to go for a good haircut. I have always tended towards a salon even though I'm a guy simply because I don't trust the just got their license employees at Great Clips like establishments. Such a great place to get a haircut!! I've gotten my haircut here a couple of time and waited to review the place, so the review is based on their consistency. The staff are friendly and helpful. I got my cut done by Heather, who was extremely nice and spent more time on my cut than what my allotted appointment allowed. She suggested a way to trim my beard that would better fit my look, which will now be my go-to style. She not only gave me a great haircut, but also gave tips on how best to take of and style my beard and hair. I based the price level on something like a $15 supercuts haircut, but for what you get out of the cut, it's well worth the money. I will be a loyal patron from here on out. read more

According to a recently published study by Cambridge University, women are actually better listeners partly due to the fact that brain structure and size is different in males and females and more importantly because the left frontal lobe is more dense in women's brains and women also had larger frontal gyri, parts of which are linked to accurately calculating risk. Now what does this have to do with a barber and a beard you may ask? I will explain. I have been on a quest for a few years to try to find a barber to trim my beard the way I wanted only to have them "nod and smile" and then just trim it the way they wanted. I have used both local barbers and have even traveled to San Francisco in desperation. Somehow every guy I tried just did not hear what I was asking for and did their own thing on my beard. Then my daughter suggested I try Alyssa (Hanson), whom she had gone to high school with years ago. Having had no luck on my own finding someone to trim my beard the way I wanted, I decided to give her a try. I am so glad I did. When I got there we discussed what I was looking for in a trim and the shape and size that I wanted to achieve. This is where everything changed. She actually heard what I said, asked a couple questions to qualify what I was looking for and also got my overall aesthetic and took it to an excellent fruition. She was able to not only hear what I was saying, but actually "heard what I was saying" and got the part that I couldn't express properly to give me the most excellent trim I have gotten. Long story short, (and I know it is a bit late for that), if you have had problems getting your beard trimmed the way you want, you really should give Alyssa a try. I am sure you won't regret it. Also as a bald guy I can't vouch for it, but she is so talented that I think she could also do the same for a haircut. Thank you Alyssa for the great trim and I'll be back! read more

WORST...HAIRCUT...EVER! After gapping the sides, shaving around the front of my hairline (I have razor stubble on my forehead), leaving an inch more in length on the right side, leaving long hairs behind my ears, and telling me that she'd call me in a week just in case I needed an adjustment, I've been left with feeling schmoozed by a blonde with a beer who over charged me for a crappy haircut (she claims to have a Master's in Barbary), who doesn't return phone calls or email for any sort of adjustment even after three weeks of trying. My wife was sitting right there the whole time and even SHE is appalled at the hubris of this "business woman". Don't believe the hype. Just say NO! read more

came in at 12:10pm, the women there made an appointment for me for 1pm. I went next door for a beer with my wife and came back at 12:50pm. The person who was waiting when I arrived earlier was still getting a haircut, so i figured they were a bit behind, no problem. There was another couple waiting there, who arrived after I came in and made my appointment. This other couples spouse was not happy about waiting for the haircut I guess they told her it would only be a 30min wait for a haircut, so she was being very vocal. They took her husband before me even though I was there before them, but i let it go, I really did not mind waiting. Then at 1:25pm another guy shows up and says he has an appointment for 1:30 with a male cutter, no male cutter there. So then the next cutter finishes her customer and takes the guy who came in at 1:25pm, (this guy was a pretty boy & I didn't fit that bill) now I'm getting ticked off, after another 10 minutes another dude comes in while another women is finishing up with her customer and looks at him and says your next to him, unbeleivable. No explanation to me, I've been wainting for almost 2 hours and this is the kind of BS they give me. VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL, NEVER AGAIN read more
