Definently a great place to dine. Arrived here and the staff was awesome. From the time we entered we felt welcomed. We were given an option as far as seating. We chose outdoor but, it was closed in and windows open. It was a beautiful day out. We were seated as soon as we arrived. I chose a cybernetic sauvignon as my drink. Crab dip as an appetizer and a seafood pasta as my meal. Complimentary biscuits were served and they were delicious. This was a very comfortable place to dine. The food was pretty tasty. Me personally would have enjoyed a side of old bay to add to my food but, I didn't request any. Totally my fault. I would definitely like to come back and try the brunch that they offer. Check it out if in the area. I don't think you would be disappointed at all.

This is my most favorite restaurant chain in Maryland so I was pleasantly surprised to see that a new location had opened up when my cousin and I visited this weekend. Cydney was an amazing waitress whose recommendation for the special of the day was nothing short of amazing! The fried flounder and grits were superb and the chocolate cafe was even better. This was a great end to my birthday celebration this month. Thank you and we will return!

We went within a week of opening. I suppose they'll work out some of the service kinks in time, but the food prep should be figured out. I got the pot pie. Flavors were good. Crust was flaky. But the filling was a little loose.

The wings were okay but tasted frozen

Barn and lodge has a great ambiance, amazing service and super sweet staff. I love the new location in the rotunda for the convenience but I do hope that with time the food may improve. Cocktails were delicious and well balanced but all of the food felt bland even the pizza. I would return to give them another try and giving them the benefit of the doubt that this is just due to their recent opening

The service was excellent!! The place was clean, beautiful ambiance, food was hot and fresh. We went for brunch all you can eat $48pp, they also have an unlimited mimosas price. Food was delicious, all of it. Great choice for family! I will be going back! Very classy, and nice!

Risotto is a work in progress the flavors are on point Seafood cooked perfectly.

So I want to give this a better review but 24hrs later I need to be honest. I'll start with the Crab dip the Only issue with this is how the plate was presented it was great. Risotto flavor perfect Seafood perfect. Risotto work in progress the season was good but the pasta should have been cooked longer so some of the Risotto was undercooked. Now the Market price steak was fantastic cooked perfectly but then it was served with soggy fries and when the cost is market price everything should be perfect. Lastly our server things started well but half way through our meal the pace of the restaurant picked up and the server ignored us and focused on a larger table by the fireplace. All in all this place is worth a visit and we plan to go back but not on a Saturday night until the staff and Kitchen are better prepared to deal with a Saturday rush.

The new Barn and Lodge at the Rotunda has only been open about a month. But it is a fabulous restaurant. The decor and service are impeccable. As you can see from the pictures it has great interior design. Everywhere that you look is pleasing to the eye. The food was good as should be expected from such a classy place. The serving sizes are fat boy happy or have good lunch tomorrow. The only drawback was the green beans. Parking is at a premium because of Rotunda. So get there early or circle until you find a spot. It is just across the parking lot from the Warehouse cinema. So dinner and a movie is a plan. To start off their version of Brussels Sprouts had a honey mustard glaze and was well cooked. The biscuits are made from scratch. And yes they are better than your grandma and that red crustacean place. Even the iced tea was superb. Including fresh blueberries and lemon. You could make a meal and die happy off of the tea and biscuits alone. The braised short rib came with green beans and mashed potatoes. But it was very good. Snakebite is a Cajun creamy jambalaya pasta dish I was both spicy and creamy. The chicken, breast, large shrimp and spicy andouille sausage were well seasoned. Shrimp is tail on. The whole dish was very good. The pasta was freshly made that morning in house with those fantastic biscuits. You have been warned though it is spicy. They have a buffet brunch on Sunday. So I am planning a return soon. You will be happy that you went there. The bar has tvs. Maybe I can talk them into making some wings ro watch a game.

I went for lunch and had a great time. I had been waiting for this place to finally open! The decor is beautiful, a great blend of urban and rustic. Very spacious. We sat at the bar and Alicia was our bartender. So nice and helpful, and makes some good drinks! Espresso Martini approved! We ordered the fried lobster tail appetizer. It came with an aïoli and ketchup. Very good! I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and was surprised to see the chicken come out green from being cooked with pesto. The Caesar salad has pumpkin seeds and granola. I was kind of skeptical but it was actually really really good! I ate the whole thing lol. We also got the short rib sandwich, which came with fries. No complaints! Good taste and good portions. We were full as had some sandwich left over lol. Oh! We also ordered a side of Brussel sprouts, specifically the side portion not the appetizer portion. The appetizer gives you ALOT of Brussel sprouts. The side portion was a perfect addition to share with our meals. This well definitely be a new go to spot for me!

Ambiance 4.5 Food 2.5 Service 2.0 The place is gorgeous, love the ambiance. Love the free parking. As soon as we walked in - the hostesses looked apathetic and no warmth at all. Our waiter approached very enthusiastically introduced himself but then quickly said he was mistaken and would not be our waiter. Five minutes later he said he was going to be our waiter. My mango lasso mocktail was pretty, but tasted terrible. Was supposed to be mango+ a few other things including ginger beer. It was mango water, watered down. I asked the waiter if I could get a little ginger beer. He said he'd check on it, came back 2 minutes later to tell me that they are out of ginger beer and that he'd take it off my check (spoiler: did not). My husband loved his crab soup and lamb shanks. My fried lobster app was good. My today's farm special: filet tips risotto was bad, risotto undercooked, maybe 2.5 ounces of overcooked (well done) filet mignon. Bland gravy. I am sad that dinner sucked. Dessert was delicious- i actually loved the apple bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream and caramel sauce. So yummy

This evening, my friend Lisa and I had the pleasure of dining at The Barn Lodge at The Rotunda, and it proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. We began with a pair of thoughtfully crafted bourbon-based cocktails, followed by a classic Caesar salad to share well balanced and elegantly prepared. For our entrées, I selected the ribeye sandwich, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly executed, while Lisa opted for the chicken pot pie, a comforting yet refined take on a timeless favorite. Each dish was prepared with care and delivered with consistency, making for a seamless dining experience. We were fortunate to enjoy seating at one of the high-top tables adjacent to the bar, which offered a lively yet comfortable vantage point. One friendly recommendation: the two-person booths located in the center of the dining room, while beautifully designed, are positioned quite closely together, which may limit the sense of privacy for couples. Introducing a subtle glass partition between those booths could preserve the open aesthetic while providing a more intimate dining experience. All in all, an inviting atmosphere paired with well-executed cuisine made for a memorable evening. And if you're lucky to have Roni as your server, you will no doubtfully be in good hands... And she's a kick in the pants Fun! Cheers. Damon D.

We've been here for casual date nights, Valentine's dinner, and the last time we came was for our friends renewing their vows after 10 years of marriage. That alone says a lot about the kind of place it is. It fits both everyday moments and really meaningful ones. What stands out first is the atmosphere. There's a warmth to the space that makes it feel inviting right away. It has a rustic, polished look with a lot of character, but it never feels stiff or overly formal. It's the kind of place where you can tell thought was put into every detail, but it still feels comfortable enough to settle in and enjoy yourself. For me, the experience starts before the food even hits the table. The space has a calm, intentional energy to it. It's perfect for slowing things down and actually enjoying your time, especially with someone you care about. The food is where it really separates itself. Everything feels carefully prepared and well thought out. You can tell they care about ingredients, and that always comes through in the flavor. Nothing feels thrown together or generic. The menu itself gets you excited before you even order, and the food lives up to it. What I appreciate most is that it doesn't just feel like a place serving food, it feels like a place creating an experience. The dishes have personality. There's intention behind them. It's not about being flashy, it's about doing things right. The service adds to that as well. Every time we've gone, the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. It makes the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed. Another thing I like is that it feels distinctly Baltimore without feeling ordinary. It has a real identity to it, and that makes it memorable. My wife and I keep coming back because it feels like time well spent. Good food, great atmosphere, and the kind of place that actually stays with you after you leave. Overall, this is easily one of the more memorable dining experiences in Baltimore. Definitely worth it if you're looking for something that feels meaningful, not just another night out.

I recently visited Elliott's Craft Kitchen a fairly new spot that my group of four decided to try out for brunch. We were hoping for a fresh experience, but our visit turned out to be a mixed bag. Ambiance and First Impressions... When we arrived, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, which was a bit of a head-scratcher for brunch time. Even though we could hear staff chatting in the back, it took a good five to eight minutes before anyone came out to seat us. Once we were seated, we noticed the lighting was so dim that we actually had to whip out our phones just to read the menu. Not exactly the cozy brunch vibe we were hoping for. The Food: Hits and Misses... On to the food. We started with the cream of crab soup, which was just okay--nothing to write home about. The Brussels sprouts were a bit of a letdown. They were tiny and mostly just fried leaves rather than the hearty sprouts we expected. So if you're imagining those classic roasted Brussels sprouts, this wasn't it. The chicken and waffles were decent in flavor, although the presentation could have used some polish. The pita bread for the crab dip could have been toasted or something more firm and doesn't taste like it was immediately pulled from a bag. Surprisingly, the star of the meal ended up being something as simple as the French fries. They were really tasty and stood out more than some of the fancier dishes. Service and the Final Stretch... Our server was kind and polite, which we appreciated. But the big hiccup came at the end. Their payment system went down, and we ended up waiting over 30 minutes just to settle the bill. After sitting for about 15 minutes we informed our server that we would like to wait in the lounge area to get more comfortable as I understand.... things happen. Although while we waited for about 20 minutes there were no offers of water or anything to make the wait less awkward (not to mention asking for payment without even presenting a bill). It felt like they were more focused on turning the table than making sure we were okay during the delay. Although maybe it was an awkward start to the morning. I will say our server did her best to work things out with the technology she was given. So, I still provided her a fair tip, not her fault. Value for Money... In terms of pricing, it felt pretty average overall, but there were a few eyebrow-raisers. For instance, the avocado toasted croissant--topped with over-easy eggs, baby spinach, and Grana Padano--was $19, which felt a bit steep for what it was. In comparison, a pork schnitzel dish was around $21. So, while the pricing wasn't outrageous, some items definitely made me pause and question the value. Overall Thoughts... In the end, my experience at Elliott's Craft Kitchen was a bit of a letdown. So I'm surprised by some of the reviews (maybe because it was not dinner). While there were a few highlights (like the fries and a well-made Old Fashioned), the service hiccups and the underwhelming dishes mean I'd probably think twice before going back. Definitely not for brunch but I would really consider Dinner after some more reviews. Hopefully they'll iron out the kinks as they get more established.

I'm not sure I even know where to start. Me and my best friend rolled up (without reservations -…read moreoops) but were greeted and seated almost immediately. The area near the front window almost feels like a private table. It was definitely giving a great vibe. We checked the menu prior to picking this place and they had EXACTLY what I wanted. I had a big ole brunch of their Grand Marnier Strawberry French Toast which was a three stack of THICCCCC cut Texas bread. It was better than I hoped for! And I brought at least half of it home, because ole greedy butt over here also got the platter with the home fries (I asked for onions and got this caramelized onion topping that was almost a jam. Yummm), the bacon and the eggs your way (scrambled with cheese). My companion had this big ole omelette with a lot of veggies and shared my french toast. The sauce they served with the home fries was sooooo good - it was almost like Heinz 57 sauce but with less of a vinegary bite. The jam that came for my English Muffin was delicious and praise GOD they served butter that wasn't ice cold and unspreadable so yeah hella points for that. For the mimosas, we did the "buy the carafe and the bottle", with a carafe of cranberry juice and a bottle of Cava Prosecco. I loved that we were able to select WHICH bubbles we wanted and for two people it worked out very well price wise. The host (tall guy with a mohawk) and our server (Robyn) were absolutely fantastic. Personable and friendly and very attentive, very much able to answer any questions we had (THANK YOU ROBYN!!!). In short - this place is a gem and yall should go! Be mindful of the parking in the area, but dont let that stop you from a delicious meal in a lovely setting!!

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this place-- other than it is a bit small, and…read more"hanging around" after your meal on a busy weekend morning is not the best idea here (you'll be asked to leave-- understandable if there are many reservations!). The cocktails are amazing, and the food is always comforting and delicious. This is one of our favorite brunch spots around town.
