Overall, I would say I was pleased with my food, but my cousin ordered some oysters, and there was a long strain of hair on, of course, the one I picked up to eat. I immediately called over the waiter to make him aware, and he replaced it, but I thought that was pretty disgusting. Especially for this to be a club, and you can only get in with a member and have to be "dressed" a certain way. I'm not sure if the protocol was adjusted due to the Janet concert. Instead fact, we were attending, too. I normally like to make positive reviews, and overall, this is still a positive review. I would just say I was skeptical the rest of the night about everything I ate because I checked everything I ate moving forward. Only when my main course came out and I wanted to use me sauce there was a piece of hair in that as well. I'm sure if I was not hungry, I probably wouldn't have eaten anything that night. I was disappointed by my first experience by having or seeing so much hair in my food or condiments. Would I go back? Maybe. Obviously it's a club and I do not live in the area so it is not somewhere I would go often but I did enjoy my entrée. So, I would be willing to give them an opportunity to redeem themselves without hair in my food. Dessert definitely was excellent and different.

This club is one of the best in Baltimore. From the moment you enter the building until the last second in it you will be served with the best customer service, upscale one. Every detail about the decoration is though off. The cocktails and drink selection is amazing. The food is very tasty and the staff is great. You will be treated with respect, care and love. The view os lovely, we had a table with the water view. I will definitely come back to this club in Baltimore. Well recommended. If you are not a member or come with a member you will not admitted

It's the views for me!! I attended an alumni event here a few days ago! GO TERPS!! It was my first time hearing about this venue and I'm so glad I got to experience it. I got tons of IG worthy pics! 16th floor views!!! The event offered passed hor'oeuvres, a pasta station, as well as desserts, unlimited beer, wine and coffee! The food was tasty! Service was excellent! Complimentary garage parking was a plus. I plan to come back to check out the restaurant/bar on the 15th floor!

I was excited about my invitation to a Mother's Day brunch at The Center Club. I was invited last year, but spent the weekend in bed ill, so I was ecstatic when I was invited again this year. Once invited, I couldn't stop thinking about what I would experience at this member's only club overlooking the Baltimore skyline. Would I get crabcakes, omelets, mimosas, an extensive assortment of sweet treats? Heck yeah, I would! And I did! It was everything I imagined. And more! Lobster!! Oh, heck yeah! The venue is beautiful, the staff is extremely accommodating and friendly, the food is AMAZING! And abundant. And fresh. And delicious. I could have stayed and grazed All. Day. Long.

Just a small part of the view.

I was invited to an event at The Center Club and it was very nice. The event was an awards reception and it had a open bar, passed hors d'oeuvre and a small buffet. Although I only had water, there was a really pretty signature drink offered. It looked like a coconut rum something with a flower. They had crab balls which were all crab and a savory pastry of sorts. The buffet offering looked like beef so I did not partake. The party I was with invited us to dinner downstairs after and it was delicious. Our waiter Juan and the team was attentive and personable. I ordered a salad, the crab cake (of course) and it came with little potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. We also tried the pear ginger sorbet. No complaints. Oh I forgot to mention the view...10 stars. I'm pretty sure it's very expensive to me a member, the ticket and the dinner alone was $$$$ but it was a nice experience. It is a-ok if anyone wants to invite me again (smile)

Great food, great ambience, great drinks, great service. This is an exclusive club that definitely treats all their members with service above & beyond what anyone can imagine. From the moment you walk in you get treated like royalty. The staff is very cheerful, helpful,& friendly at all times. The food was amazing: -The crab soup was flavorful & delicious. -The crab Caesar salad was to die for & is made from scratch right in front of you. -The salmon on top of grits was one of the best dishes I've ever had.(Definitely order this as your entree if you come here) I really enjoyed coming here with my colleague and will be returning here next time I come to the Baltimore area.

It amazes me how consistently detailed and thorough the Center Club and its staff can be. I can honestly say that I've never had a less than fabulous time when there. Wether just in for a quick HH drink or sitting threw a late multiple course dinner with friends the Center Club goes above and beyond expectations every time. Just as important as details and experience is the expectation of a great meal. Again the Center Club has yet to disappoint. I have visited the club at least once a quarter for three years now and can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. My guest have all raved over the food and my minor kids often enjoy seasonal or themed buffets. It's now my goal to visit more often.

I'm not a club member, I was here for a CFA event a few months back and absolutely everything is impeccable. The views, private rooms, food, drinks, bathrooms, and staff! Beautiful club.

I was here for a work function. I am reviewing this based on the clubhouse and food services and…read morebar, not as the actual golf club. I could not find a listing for the clubhouse alone on yelp. The clubhouse is very lovely, with indoor and outdoor porch seating. They can open one wall almost completely to have access to the porch for additional seating. The bar is a full bar and the bartenders craft excellent cocktails to order. They have a reasonable beer selection and it appears they have a good wine selection, although I stock mainly with cocktails for this function. We had set up for a Buffet style catering event, and it was superb. The, bread was fresh and warm with perfect pre-cut slices of butter available. The salad was a build your own station, and all of the ingredients were fresh and crisp. The dressings were also well prepared, although I don't know if they were kitchen made or from a bottle. The BCC tomato dish was half tomatoes, crusted with brown sugar on the cut surface, and then cooked (baked? Broiled?) until the brown sugar formed a crust. These were very tasty and very interesting. A bit too sweet for me to have more than one but certainly worth a try. They had fingerling potatoes as well as Maryland crab soup. The only unfortunate part of service was that the person serving the soup wasn't familiar with the dish, and therefore did not mix it up prior to serving each bowl... so all of the crab was clearly on the bottom of the container, and none of us got any crab in our actual bowls, since she was ladling it from the top. Not a big deal, but seemed odd for a place this fancy to not have staff who understand how to serve Maryland crab soup. The main course was Maryland crabcakes and châteaubriand. Both were delicious and extremely well prepared. For dessert we had a variety of bars and pastries, and even a birthday cake for the person of honor for the event!

The club changed the rules for members mid process thereby screwing the indviduals. Knowing what i know now i would not have joined. Other clubs are more member / family friendly. When things are tough they are begging for members. Demand increases for memberships and they go into how can we screw you mode. As a member they nickle and dime you. I belong to multiple clubs and they are all higher end than our club. None of them treat members like bcc. Ask the people who leave. Totally not worth it. sad and disappointing. thanks for posting for me E. Fellow members would be brutal to me even though they know i am right.

I sat at the bar and quickly realized it was cash only, so I stepped upfront to use the ATM. The fee was $3, so I definitely recommend bringing cash ahead of time. I ordered an $8 drink, which was strong and very much needed--and shoutout to my bartender Tiffany, because she definitely took care of me. That drink was good, okay? After the first one, the drinks kept flowing, and the night really picked up. For food, I had the lemon pepper wings with fries and ranch. Even though I was already a little tipsy by that point, the wings were really good--flavorful, perfectly cooked, and hit the spot. And somehow, I even ended up with free food, which made the night even better. Just to be clear for anyone planning to come: they charge at the door after 8 PM daily, so make sure you have cash if you're arriving after that time. They also have happy hour, though I can't remember the exact hours--it may be 5-7 or 6-7--but they offer $2 off drinks, which explains the $8 price during happy hour. Also, while the bar is cash only, the food is separate and you can pay for food with a card. As the night went on, the music was on point--a great mix of old school and new school--and the vibes were just right. I made my way to the back where the dance floor is and fully immersed myself in the club/lounge atmosphere. I came around 6:30 and stayed until about 12:30, and honestly, I didn't want to leave. I had other plans later, but if I didn't, I probably would have stayed and danced all night. Even if you come by yourself, you won't feel alone for long. As long as you have an open personality and good energy, people will talk to you, dance with you, and make you feel right at home. I haven't been on a Monday yet, which is what they advertise for my age range (I'm 28), but I'm definitely planning to check it out. I also heard Sundays are house music, so if that's your vibe, it's worth stopping by. Will I be back to Melba's? Hell yeah. Did I have a great time at Melba's? Absolutely. It was a whole vibe.
