Two hairdressers up and left and now I'm on my third stylist that she just doesn't click with me making it extremely difficult to sit in a chair for two hours. Now lately, time after time when I ask for an appointment after 4 pm...I get 2pm...or break up my appointment in two separate visits or two separate stylists. I prayed I wouldn't become a nobody but I did. Oh well! On to.the next salon and pray.

UPDATE 8/16/2025: As usual, everyone at the salon was friendly, warm, and attentive. Therese, especially, was WONDERFUL! She listened thoughtfully as I explained my thoughts, hair goals, and anxieties, and she worked WITHIN those parameters to create a perfect representation of everything I had hoped for! She also explained everything she was doing AS she did it, so that I could recreate the look at home later. She is AMAZING. She made me feel so taken care of that I even intend to return in a few weeks for a color consult (it will be my first time EVER coloring my hair)! 9/2023--Ashley was SOOOO good! I had no idea what I wanted to do with my AWFUL mop of limp, lifeless hair. She took the time to talk with me and get to know me, my hair, and my concerns. She gave a few suggestions, taking the time to explain everything she would be doing. As she was working, she also described what she was doing and why. Her suggestions were great, and she was VERY patient with all my stupid questions. And the haircut? It was exactly what I needed, and it suited my hair type, my age, AND my face shape perfectly! I'm so happy with it! She's amazing! UPDATE 9/2024: She has done it again!! Ashley is ALWAYS so wonderful. She pays attention to my "hair goals" AND my concerns, and she is very creative and artistic (and friendly). This time, in particular, she gave me a great consult, and when we decided on a cut together, it turned out EVEN BETTER than I could have imagined. I think this is the best cut and style I have EVER received. I've never been so pleased with my hair before! She is an artist!! UPDATE: Yup! She's batting 1000 with ANOTHER great cut! Ashley is ALWAYS amazing! Not only does she take the time to find out weekday you want she always offers PROFESSIONAL consultations, and she is so effervescent and friendly that it really elevates the experience. I have thin hair and a scalp condition that causes some of this. The stylist suggested a few hair…read moreextensions might help. She said that they are easy to take care of and to wash and style my hair just like I always did but to use a soft brush. I wanted to buy one but she said I didn't need to. She had cut and highlighted my hair a couple times in the past and did a good job. My only complaint would be that she was easily distracted by other staff while she was doing my hair. She is an experienced stylist who charges $100 for a haircut. After about a month or so, I decided to have the extensions removed. I washed and dried my hair like I usually do but the extensions tangled and I could not get a brush through them and I needed a highlight. When I sat down she looked at my hair and started to scold me Like I was a child. She said the hair around the extensions had matted and continued to condescend to me and mock me as she started literally ripping them from my scalp with a rat tail comb, pulling my hair out by the roots in clumps. I watched the clumps fall on the black cover. This was so incredibly painful and she was well aware. I endured it because I knew they had to come out. The whole time she worked on my hair, she took phone calls and returned texts. She finally got them out and proceeded with my highlight continuing to text with her son about some event they were planning. My hair was processing and she left me in the chair so long (much longer than necessary) I had to ask the receptionist to ask Lisa if she had forgotten about me. During the cut, I asked her not to cut into the sides but she did it anyway. I couldn't wait to get out of there. This just went from bad to worse but I wanted it to be done. It's not as if I could have stopped the process halfway. I certainly won't go back. I've never experienced anything like this.

If I didn't live in another state I would be back for sure! Also didn't feel pressured into buying a product but did because Sadie showed me a new dry shampoo that was a mousse. I explained how I have oily hair and it goes flat and dry and itchy. This mousse is fantastic! I used it twice and it helped my hair and didn't dry my scalp or turn my hair white like the powder spray dry shampoos. Overall great experience! There need to be more small business like this!
