I have been a client here for a good ten years now. I was impressed at the level of interaction year after year without taking my coming here for granted. Two hairdressers up and left and now I'm on my third stylist that she just doesn't click with me making it extremely difficult to sit in a chair for two hours. Now lately, time after time when I ask for an appointment after 4 pm...I get 2pm...or break up my appointment in two separate visits or two separate stylists. UPDATE 10/12025: Okay, now I've had the gel manicure experience, too! Definitely ask for Madi! She is such an artist and so, so, SO nice! The arm and hand massage was relaxing, and my nails and cuticles have never looked better! Thank you, Madison! I've scheduled a regular manicure every month now! UPDATE 8/16/2025: As usual, everyone at the salon was friendly, warm, and attentive. Therese, especially, was WONDERFUL! She listened thoughtfully as I explained my thoughts, hair goals, and anxieties, and she worked WITHIN those parameters to create a perfect representation of everything I had hoped for! She also explained everything she was doing AS she did it, so that I could recreate the look at home later. She is AMAZING. She made me feel so taken care of that I even intend to return in a few weeks for a color consult (it will be my first time EVER coloring my hair)! 9/2023--Ashley was SOOOO good! I had no idea what I wanted to do with my AWFUL mop of limp, lifeless hair. She took the time to talk with me and get to know me, my hair, and my concerns. She gave a few suggestions, taking the time to explain everything she would be doing. As she was working, she also described what she was doing and why. Her suggestions were great, and she was VERY patient with all my stupid questions. And the haircut? It was exactly what I needed, and it suited my hair type, my age, AND my face shape perfectly! I'm so happy with it! She's amazing! UPDATE 9/2024: She has done it again!! Ashley is ALWAYS so wonderful. She pays attention to my "hair goals" AND my concerns, and she is very creative and artistic (and friendly). This time, in particular, she gave me a great consult, and when we decided on a cut together, it turned out EVEN BETTER than I could have imagined. I think this is the best cut and style I have EVER received. I've never been so pleased with my hair before! She is an artist!! UPDATE: Yup! She's batting 1000 with ANOTHER great cut! 15 days after I posted my initial review, I (coincidentally) started receiving text messages from a phone number that is linked to one those burner apps. Coincidentally, the burner phone number app was sending me news articles about a former employee in an attempt to presumably tarnish her reputation and ruin her new business. Also of coincidence, a salon employee voted for my review 3 days before the coincidental texts arrived. I truly hope it's a COINCIDENCE and not a salon employee, because I'm pretty sure this could be considered harassment and could also be illegal. It's also immature and childish. Get help. You obviously need it. ---------- I used to go here for facials and nails, but since the pandemic, I no longer feel comfortable going here. The only person I would trust in this entire salon to perform any service anywhere on my body would be Andi, a nail technician. Andi is the only one that still works here that I feel takes safety and hygiene seriously. She cleans her tools thoroughly and bleaches her pedicure bowl. I have witnessed too many times pre-pandemic that step not happening with other techs. Can we also talk about how one of the nail techs keeps labeled tools for each client in a little bag in her station? It's disgusting. Even if you're using the same tools on the same client each time, you still need to clean them. It's like never cleaning your stuff at home. This is how infections spread. No one told me this info. I observed it myself. Also, one time I was checking out and one of the owners came up to try to talk me into getting a bikini wax with one of the estheticians because she does a lovely job. I'm sure the esthetician does a lovely job, but the manner she crept up to me and tried to sell me on it was just uncomfortable. In addition, the prices here are insane and they don't even offer the services I want. Plus, Aveda skincare products are really terrible aside from the hand and foot cream. Essential oils in the Aveda products are really not great for skin, especially if you're sensitive. And all those preservatives? Ick. About 20% percent of the world's population is allergic to benzoic acid and Aveda has reformulated so many times and added that preservative to the formerly good Shampure. But you can buy a tiny bottle of Sap Moss shampoo for $50 if you want. It smells great, but tons of independent perfumers have recreated the signature scents without all the garbage ingredients. I hope Andi finds a better place to work someday because she's great and they treat her like garbage for not caking herself in makeup. Stay natural, girl. You're a treasure and you deserve better. Wouldn't ever recommend for a wedding or event. The management of my wedding services were Absolutely Terrible. My trial was canceled the day of and rescheduled. The "master" stylist who was going to be doing my services was going to be out so I was downgraded to the next highest who wasn't a master.... When I went in for my trial they didn't give me any prior instructions. Then for my trial, they did not curl my hair at all, did not use regular Bobby pins (just large loose pins) and it was nothing like my inspo photos. The loose pins she put in fell out during my 5 minute drive home. I sent a long email the following day with my concerns and they never mentioned a retrial until I went in to pay my final $1,000 + bill. When I brought it up again, the coordinator made it sound like my retrial would be free but then called to say that the owners said it was too long since my trial, I should have said something after(even though I did in my email) and that I could choose a different salon....RUDE My bridesmaids could tell I was upset and they wanted me to feel confident so they tried to surprise me and attempted to pay for a re-trial(which they told me in email would be $85 after originally saying it would be free) and then they CHARGED her DOUBLE. I went in and showed the front desk my emails they didn't believe me, read the email multiple time and then they honored their pricing but they had tried to CHEAT HER for more than double... then when I brought this up to the coordinator she again said we could always choose a different salon....2 weeks before the wedding and after I paid them more than $2,000 for myself and my 8+ bridesmaids. Absolutely terrible customer service. If they do something wrong they urge you to go to a different salon.... The makeup was also sub par... they don't seem to equip the stylists with good products or enough. Almost none of the foundation matched(I even brought my own as you can see the trial foundation was way to yellow) and they had to ration out eyelashes and the even hairspray.... I wanted to try a new place and decided to give Bella capelli a try. The consolation was great, she looked at my pictures and said she could do what I asked... The next appointment I was immediately greeted with water and everyone was amazingly nice to me. She cut my hair and bleached it, however she didn't tell me she was going to bleach it during our consultation. Then we dyed my hair to my desired color, and it didn't work. The whole time I was totally fine and felt like I was in good hands (I was not.) The dye didn't stick so they tried again, only to find the color didn't stick in my hair. When she blow dried and styled my hair it was 5 inches shorter and the layers where uneven and so short. NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR AT ALL! I originally only wanted 2 inches and a couple layers... I went home and cried for LITERALLY DAYS, I CRIED FOR DAYS! All in all my hair is ruined, I called back and they were very apologetic about everything and even offered me an appointment to fix the color for free. (They gave me my money back $249) NO THANKS! I wish I could give them 5 stars for amazing customer service, my stylist was wonderful. Definitely need to work on what the customers want... I'm disappointed my hair is ruined. I got it "fixed" at a different place but she couldn't help me on the haircut, that's how bad Bella capelli did me:/ not to mention I was there for 7 HOURS WTF THATS SO F-ING LONG. Thanks to my stylist I don't want to shame her for wonderful customer service and was super cool, she was great. NEVER GOING BACK! My hair before, what I wanted, and what I got. Seriously having an identity crisis because of how badly my hair got messed up. My hair means everything to me and this is going to take YEARS TO GROW BACK. I'm genuinely heartbroken by how bad Bella capelli cut my hair. I seriously cried for days and could still cry just by looking in the mirror. Went to this salon months back and had gotten a great hairdresser. He did exactly the gray I was hoping for. Well, as fate would have it he left and I was assigned a new person. Well, I was not pleased with what she did and expressed my disappointment in the color as it looked like my regular color and you really could not tell I spent all that money to have my hair done. They asked if I wanted to come back in but I said no, I didn't want my hair processed again. So I thought I will give it one more try but once again it looks the same. I enjoyed the full experience a bit better with Joanna. The heating pad on the bed was amazing and to start with a foot soak was a great kick off. I made Joanna aware of my back pain and she made sure to use a China Gel to alleviate some of my pain at the end of the massage. That was a great addition. I also had some Aveda tea before my massage. The entire experience was unforgettable and I will certainly be back! When I called for an appt., I was told that I would have to wait "3" months to see her (I could get an appt. with Trump before 3 months) and I was quoted a price of $70.00 for a hair cut...OUTRAGEOUS. First off I told them I wanted the relaxation massage;according to the paper I got mailed on Dec 21st it was $60. Next, I just have to say how extremely disappointed I was with the response to my massage being cut 10mins short. The licensed esthetician apologized and informed me I would get a 10% discount. She expressed she was sorry, but they keep her on a strict time frame with back to back appointments. I came 30mins early to make sure I didn't get cut short and still had it happen to me;that unfortunately is not my problem, but if I'm paying you I should get the full service. I go to the counter and they charge me $76. When I corrected her and informed her the form of services they mailed out to me stated it was $60, she stated those prices were from about six months ago and she apologized for their form not being updated. I checked my envelope it came in and it was dated on Dec 21st so it was still inaccurate if that was the case when they mailed me the form. I was then told since they are honoring the $60 price they wouldn't honor the 10% discount for cutting me ten minutes short, even though technically 10% wouldn't even be the correct amount for 10mins. The massage it self was nice, but I will never go back. I'm upset I was over charged for a service that I did not fully get. I've been going to Bella Capelli for YEARS, and have been pretty happy. I took my daughter to get her hair done for a nice back to school treat, since the place is pretty expensive, and they don't offer any type of teen pricing. But the girl butchered her hair. It was so uneven, chunks literally missing, and the layers were totally uneven. When she asked how I liked it I said well it's obviously longer on one side then the other and I don't see any difference in the layers, so it needs to be fixed. She was a senior stylist so she should know what she was doing, but obviously didn't. I had to take her to have it recut somewhere else a couple weeks later, because her hair was so embarrassingly bad. I did call and complain and they offered to recut it, but I said I would never be back. She basically said well nice having you as a customer, but ok. I will never go back to Bella Capelli! I made an appointment and got a shellac manicure and pedicure. It was a great experience until the next day. I got home and noticed a small bubble on my right thumb. I went in to at thing the next morning since I had an afternoon flight to catch. They were unapologetic and unable to fix it because their nail technicians were booked. While I completely understand and respect that, they did not seem willing to find any other solution or offer any future compensation. I spent $100 on a pedicure/manicure for vacation and feel the manicure was a waste of money. I am very disappointed. read more

I was here for a cut and color. A friend of mine suggested them and I had a coupon to try them out, so I did. The cut was great and I mostly liked the color. The only thing is that the color was very "matte" (normally my hair is very shiny) and it took about 4 washes before the dye stopped staining my towels...thank God I had my hair done right before a trip and that first wash was in a hotel! I would have been very angry if I had ruined one of my nice towels. I've never had my hair stain a towel after a color before and it was supposed to be a permanent color, not a temporary one, so I'm not sure what happened there. I love her because she listens to my ideas or issues and offers suggestions. It also helps that she's very personable and her hair is always funky. Love her! I decided on Bella after looking at reviews and websites for just about everything in a 25 mile radius. When I called they recommended Kate because she had difficult-to-manage curly hair like mine. Kate was lovely, even though the cut was complimentary she not only took the time to go through a pinterest board with me and and discuss what I wanted but also walked me through the styling process so I could replicate the look myself. The very first time I went, I was "assigned" to Nicole, who gave me the best hair color and cut I've ever had. She actually taught me how to work with that mess on my head! I donated my hair through Wigs for Kids and used the WFK website to find a salon for "the chop." I knew I wanted to go somewhere with good reviews since I'd be trusting them to cut off 12 inches of hair that I have been growing for over two years. Bella Capelli definitely seemed like the best spot. As an ambassador salon, they provide a complimentary haircut when you are donating. I was worried I would get a less than stellar/popular stylist because it was a free cut, but Mary Ann was great. She was chatty (but not too chatty) and calmed my nerves since I was getting so much hair cut off. I don't think it is the perfect haircut, but I think she did a great job given what she had to work with... especially after chopping off most of my hair! Also, I decided, after staring at my face for an hour, that I wanted to get my eyebrows done. (Why not? When in Rome, right?!) Mary Ann was not available to do it because she had an appointment coming in, but grabbed someone who was available and they fit me in right away. I'm a relative of Serina and I went in to ask about a haircut since I had a "brain tumor" removed and my hair did not grow back on one side. Serina came to the front, grabbed me by the arm to escort me out, and told me to leave or else she was going to call the POLICE???. I have never been treated so badly by the so-called co-owner...she was rude, disrespectful, and downright unprofessional. I would never return to be so humiliated by such a pompous, conceited, arrogant snob!!! And to think I used to babysit her and change her diapers. While a nice-looking salon, I was disappointed in the way that I was treated overall. I came here on the recommendation of an acquaintance whose color/highlights I loved. I requested the same stylist, went in for a consultation, and set up my appointment . My first service (for a highlight and cut) was amazing, and I left feeling confident that I had found my new "home" salon. The following two visits (both for a partial highlight~no cut), left a bad taste in my mouth. My stylist applied my foils and then had me sit to "process". Both times I was left to sit for varying amounts of time (once about 15 minutes shorter than my first visit, and the second almost 25 minutes less than my first visit). Both times, a girl who was not my stylist (different girls both appointments) told me they were there to wash my hair. No one checked my color, looked under the foils, etc. to make sure the look I was going for was achieved. To add insult to injury, I was washed and blow dried and sent on my way! My stylist never came over to check my color or see if I was satisfied, and she wasn't around the salon floor for me to stop and talk to her. My highlights on the last visit were yellow and brassy..a far cry from my first visit. I will find another place to spend my hard earned money. Very disappointed...Bella Capelli needs to fix this practice. I have made sure to tell friends and family that considered going to this salon that it is not worth it. read more
