As I am a beginner, I have asked for "hands-on" to correct my posture. Instructors are professional and respectful when providing "hands-on" support. Also, the variety and time of the classes allows me to determine my routine. The staff is welcoming and charming, and my fellow students are friendly and supportive of one another. The only downside is parking , street parking is the only option and it can be a bit annoying, so definitely plan to arrive early to give yourself time. It's been a slow process, but I think I am getting better now. Heidi has been my primary pilates instructor, while I have also taken intermediate classes with Michelle. They are both AMAZING instructors and accommodating and attentive during each set. I love the size of the studio with four pilates reformers. Thus, there is a max of four participants per session. The instructors are conscientious that everyone can perform with the machine. At the end of the session, we are provided with sanitized wipes to clean down the reformer for the next session. There are limited parking spaces in front of the studio. However, since the place is located in the middle of the fast-paced street on PCH Blvd, please make sure to approach the building slowly before making the turn.

Wanting to be considerate and avoid getting other members sick, I had my partner go to the front desk in person to explain the situation and cancel. Despite this, I was charged a $10 cancellation fee. When I followed up, I was told they have a strict 'zero exceptions' policy. While I understand having rules around attendance, penalizing members for acting responsibly when ill, especially after being added from a waitlist on such short notice, is poor customer service. The facility and classes are great but this really rubbed me the wrong way.
