My experience was with the operations' manager; if the operations' manager is only able to handle day to day operations and does not know how to properly engage with the public, he should not be at the front desk directly interfacing with clients and future clients, as it tarnishes the brand. In communities like Santa Barbara, a business's reputation relies heavily on word of mouth, and it is no surprise that these reviews reflect a similar experience; if this business is to survive, a lot will have to change- You won't be getting a dollar from me, but here's my two cents.

One thing about Swell is that it really is incredible clean and spotless, they have porters constantly cleaning the machines, locker rooms and rooms for classes. The staff couldn't be any nicer. It has all the equipment you will need, a ton of classes, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, outdoor pool. I can't rave enough about Swell. I think for what you get it's well worth the money.

For 2 days of usage was $35 which seems like a lot compared to having a regular membership but I think it was totally worth it. The app to get in is very easy to use and the instructions to get are very clear. I didn't know where to park at first but I did find parking in the back alley behind the gym. All in all the one staff member that was there was very friendly The vibe in the gym is a little old school lifting with a little bit older equipment but it seems well taken care of and it gets the job done. There are uses of sweat and wipe down towels which is a nice touch. I would highly recommend if you are in town or I guess a native to Santa Barbara and you need something that is private.

The facility is top-notch, super clean, and set up perfectly for a great workout. But what really stood out was the people. Scott and Thiago run an incredible operation--they were welcoming from the second I walked in and treated me like I'd been a member there for years. The workout was intense, well-structured, and exactly what I needed while traveling. You can tell there's a strong culture here and that they genuinely care about their members. What really sets this place apart is the community. The coaches and members are incredibly welcoming, supportive, and motivating, and I've met some incredible people here. The Peak 500 Challenge they held last week pushed me in the best way--definitely tough, but so rewarding. And the recent boat party was such a highlight--an amazing way to connect with everyone outside the studio and just party together.
