Well we had our 2nd shower redone sooner than planned by The Bath Biz in September and absolutely love it! I needed the bathroom tub to be converted to a shower stall so that my 84-year-old father did not have to step over the bathtub wall and risk falling. Choosing: I contacted a few different bathtub to shower stall companies. They all felt like "car dealerships" except for Corlyn. She came out to my house, and gave us a fair quote. I was impressed with her knowledge and experience. She convinced me that the material they used exclusively and her installers were excellent. Contract: I opted for the 12 months same as cash loan (credit card program) which was very simple and quick. I selected the design/color based on a 6inch-10inch sample - and in looking back, I wish the sample was a little bigger so that I knew exactly what it would look like on the full shower - lesson learned, do your homework on the website!!! Also, I would say the final feel on the wall was a little more hollow than I expected from the sample. Installation: A month later Vince and Mike arrived at about 9:30 and finished by about 3pm They were efficient, courteous, and clean. They were quite knowledgeable about their work (they've only done 6000 of these installs now!) and answered all questions that I had while they were installing. I have a different prospecptive on this business. I did use them for a install which was done as planned. (Install was great, I even Tipped Mike and Vince). I needed a return visit and was first told by Coryln I was to far out for a return visit (their in Benicia and i'm in Lincoln, and after I already paid) and their really busy and they don't usually come back out. She told me she would call me back, which she never did. I called her back 2 weeks later and asked her was she planning to call me at all. She told me that she was out of town and would have Bruce (husband) call me, which he never did, that was October 12, 2021. I have since paid someone else to finish to complete this job. Retained this bathroom remodeling company May 2010 to completely remodel bathroom in rental property. Paid deposit of $2950 5/28/2010 and following installation, poorly done, with different colored faux marble polymer acrylic walls that did not adhere to the tiled walls covered, improper seating of new bathtub and removal and disposal of heirloom vanity under sink, along with high-end towel rack and toilet paper dispenser, along with leaving complete mess outside, I called to complain the next day. Company agreed to send out person to review and never showed, nor did they follow-up. Many months of non-communication followed by attempt to place mechanics lien on the property, after they had cashed a final check, clearly marked,"cashing this check constitutes full & final settlement of the disputed bathroom remodel" the owner persisted with demands for more money, in spite of not resolving the poor installation, incorrect material I had selected and removal of cherished vanity etc. I have never had such a negative experience and find, to this day, the owner is defensive, unprofessional and lacks respectful customer service skills, to put it mildly. read more

We had them come out on June 22. The workers came in and were very hard workers. They had to come out the 2nd day to finish but only one came out. He left and 1 piece was not installed it was suggested I go buy a corner piece after we had spent almost $6000. We called on it immediately and to this day they have yet to complete the shower. Once they finish they never follow up - beware you may not see them again. It has been 3 months and still no date set to finish. It might only take 15 minutes but they can't seem to make time for us. Customer service doesn't seem to be their strong point they never even followed up with us on how it came out. I will be happy to update if they ever make their way back to our house. I really wanted to give them a chance to make it right before a made a negative comment. I wanted to post an updated review. Bruce the owner came out today to bring in a piece to finish up the work that was done earlier. I am pleased to say that it looks fantastic. I will recommend them in the future. Bath Liners Direct installed our new guest bath tub and shower a month ago. The installation was done beautifully and the clean up was spotless. Unknown to us one of the older pipe welds below the new copper welds cracked during the installation and caused a slow leak into the guest bedroom closet. We called Bath Liners Direct this morning and workman was out immediately to remedy the problem. Not only did he make the repair to the pipe, he replaced the sheet rock and framed it so now we will have access to the area. He also dried out the wet carpeting with his shop vac. The product is as advertised and the actual installation was done very professionally with a high degree of quality. The lead up to the installation was less than stellar. We had our initial site review and got scheduled. Morning of the scheduled installation, I received a call that the wrong shower pan received. Oh well, stuff happens, but I never received the re-schedule call as promised and had to chase it down. Two more weeks, 2nd installation attempt, crew arrives on schedule but can not hook up the shower pan in it's current condition. Not caught during the site survey and for me it was surprising that the capability to knock out a little concrete was not available so off they went and again Went to Home depot and prepared the drain. 3rd install was a success.
