It's a great place if you are looking for a Jimmy Buffet vibe. It is located directly on the beach so you can literally have your feet in the sand as you enjoy your drinks and bar food. There is always music playing and usually someone live playing guitar on crowded days/nights. The food is pretty standard bar food and the drinks are good. The real draw here is actually being on the beach. There is also a volleyball net just outside the bar where you can often see people playing as you are drinking. It's a great place to chill out on the beach. The biggest bummer is the lack of parking. What parking there is is very sparse and expensive. But, that is nothing new for beach life. read more

I was staying in an airbnb right next door to TBB. Each day I saw everyone having a good time at the beachside tables, and there was always good live music wafting from the establishment. Midway during my vacation I ambled over to check it out. I was met and warmly greeted by the general manager/bartender on duty Matt F. I mentioned to him that some previous Yelp reviews indicated that TBB only had beer and wine and a cash only policy. He assured me that they take credit cards and contactless payment (I used Apple Pay). He also had available "well quality" basic liquor available, as well as a frozen drink machine. There's a good selection of beers available as well as made in Fort Myers spiked seltzer. I had the BOGO of the day, two 16 oz. cups of Shock Top ale for $6.00! There's limited bar snacks available, however they have a partnership with MoJoe's Cafe around the corner, wherein you can get wood-fired pizza delivered to your table. In summary, The Beach Bar epitomized that divey laid back vibe that FMB is known for. I enjoyed it very much, and would definitely return next vacation. read more

My wife & I ventured to FMB today for the first time since Hurricane Ian. We've been living in the area for 4 years and sadly never knew this place existed. It was obscured by bigger buildings but now is standing alone. They were down for only 97 days before re-emerging from the ashes. It's a humble re-start but definitely worth your time to stop and give your patronage. It's right on the sandy shore of FMB and although just a small operation right now they are serving up some awesome ice cold adult refreshments that can be enjoyed at one of their numerous umbrella covered tables on the beach. Matt was our bartender and he was awesome! They also have live music and that started at 1:00 today. What's not to love? Cold brews, music, great service, killer beach vibe and an opportunity to help rebuild FMB. read more

Cool, laid-back dive-ishy bar with great music! I was in Fort Meyers Beach for a day and had some time to kill. So glad I accidentally stumbled upon this place! It was exactly the kind of bar I love- mellow, non-pretentious, with friendly patrons and staff. Good beer choices- I had an IPA on tap. (Ok- I had a bunch of IPA's on tap!) Most importantly is that the music comin' out of the speakers was what I liked- Classic Rock. There's nothing worse than ordering a drink at a bar and then having to be subjected to a genre of music that makes your ears bleed...it ruins everything! Not a problem here though. There's places to sit both inside and out so if you want shade you got it- if you want sun and white sand- you got that too. The view can't be beat as the bar is directly on the beach facing the sea. Maybe it's the day/month I was there but it wasn't touristy which was an added plus. The bartender was so nice! I can't remember his name but he's from long island. I was in there with a coke . sitting with friends at a table. A punk by the name of Anthony came up and told me I had to leave for having a drink in the Beach bar. I got up and left he followed me from behind I could feel him breathing behind my back once we got to the end he told me to keep going I was on public property at time and I told him I wasn't going anywhere he punched me in my hands and knocked the drink out of my hand I actually have a broken bone from it he's lucky .. I walked away . Ft Myers beach traffic is the worst!! So after declaring that our vehicle would not leave the hotel lot, we hit the beach and took a walk and found the Beach Bar. It is what it is. A bar...on the beach. Tables outside in the sand, a great assortment of drinks available, and two guys playing guitar singing Seger, Springsteen, Cash and lots of other great tunes. This is a great place for a drink on the beach, you really get the beach feeling. I only give it 4 stars because its not a full bar and only serves bar finger foods. However its location right along the beach and the service here definitely makes is a beautiful and relaxing place to be. You can grab a beer and be back at your spot on the beach really fast. There are other places on the beach but they that are farther down the beach by Lani Kai and they have so many rules and tell you that you cant be here if you have booze and so on. My wife and I stopped what was intended to be for one beer, ended up staying for an hour and was late meeting up with our dinner party. Good place to stop in a have a BEER. They don't really have liquor. They have some kind of 24% "rum" that they can pass off as real booze if you want them to fill 75% of your glass with it. Excellent location, lots of tables, bags, volleyball, pool, live music etc. Great spot to sit in the sun and put your feet in the sand (their tables are actually on the beach - bonus!) We were walking from our condo on the beach to Times Square and decide to stop in for a drink. What a great find! Bartender was very friendly. Great tables with umbrellas in the sand. Fabulous music. Great bar to watch the sunset on Fort Myers Beach, though be warned that this isn't a place I would recommend bringing your children. This bar by the time sunset comes is usually full of really drunk people who've had quite the fun day on the beach. Drinks are decently priced, though it can be difficult to get the bartenders to come over, usually only 1 or 2 on shift. We usually go around 3 or so and then the bar closes down immediately after sunset. Upstairs there's a more formal restaurant that I would recommend for food. read more

This establishment is right off the beach. It looks like it's in an open basement. The ambiance has a tiki, yet homey feel to it. The bartender was super friendly & incredibly artistic (I wish I could remember his name). There was a wide variety of beer in cans, bottles & on tap. There was also a variety of mixed drinks, however no one in our group had one so I'm not sure about the price or quality. It is cash only & there is no food.
