We were a little hesitant to try this place because of so many bad service reviews but glad we did because we didn't experience that at all! We arrived around 5:30 I think on a Saturday evening and were seated right away. Food came quick and they helped me navigate the menu with my gluten sensitivity. We loved sitting outside on the water, watching the boats and enjoying the breeze. I really liked my salmon! It was cooked perfectly and is the main reason for my four stars. The sides were just meh. I never really understand rice as a side at restaurants unless there's something special about it. The asparagus could have been cooked a tad better and the butter sauce was ok to me. My husband really likes his chicken fajitas and it was enough for two meals. We'd definitely return based on this experience! Fun place with good vibes. It's massive though and I'm sure can get really busy.

We had a great visit to Yucatán Beach Stand Bar & Grill. We were greeted warmly and sat immediately! It was a busy day on the weekend of the shrimp festival so that pleasantly surprised me! We had a hankering for some French fries and some Boom Boom Shrimp which both exceeded our expectations! Absolutely loved the rope swings at the bar. The decor was a perfect vibe of the beach and pirates! Loved it! Totally recommend!

Another post-beach visit and today was definitely a 5-star experience! Guac and chips were out of this world delicious. I got the jerk chicken quesadilla and it was awesome. My husband loves his chicken sandwich and as always, it was spot on. I tried the watermelon margarita this time and really enjoyed it. A tad on the sweeter side because of the watermelon flavor but still great and refreshing after the beach. Outdoor patio seating is our favorite. They were also setting up live music on Sunday afternoon so check out their updates about who and when will be playing there if that's your vibe. Service was great as usual. Very accommodating to families with kids.

I love that they have swings for seats at the outdoor bar! So fun! Food here is good too - the oysters were yummy, and the alfredo pasta was delicious!

Yucatan Beach Stand Bar & Grill Ft Myers Beach Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon. Got a table fast and our waiter Quinton was on the ball with our drinks. I ordered the Clam Chowder for appetizer and we both ordered the Grouper Sandwich Blackened with Coleslaw, and my wife got the Rice & Beans. Our Clam Chowder came out first and it was very good I loved it. My Grouper Sandwich came out but somehow, they gave up my wife's Grouper Sandwich to someone else as explained by Quinton. He did say they were making another one for her as fast as they could. Mine was about halfway done when hers came out. These Sandwiches were huge and very good with all the fixing on them. We both could barely eat the entire meal and in fact we left with a doggy bag. The food here is very good and this place has such a great vibe it just feels like Ft Myers Beach for sure. I must give this place 5 out of 5 stars. Gulf Coast Terry

Came here for lunch and had a decent experience. Upon our arrival, my group was determining on whether we should sit inside or out and the hostess seemed to be impatient when waiting for us to decide. Once we finally got our table, our serve came right away. I don't remember her name, but she was great. We ordered the quesadilla and Yucatán bread for an appetizer and the former was DELICIOUS. We didn't have any dishes so we asked the bus boy who brought the food out for plates and he never got them, so we had to eat on our napkins. The food itself in terms of the entrees were decent. I had the pineapple bowl and it was a decently sized portion and flavorful. Someone in my group got the fajitas and the meat was a little too overcooked. Other than that. It was good. We sat outside and it was BEYOND windy, despite it being 83 degrees out, but still cold. I would recommend bringing a sweater just in case.

The food is great, and the servers are friendly and personable. Some reviewers complain the service is slow, but don't come here if you're in a hurry with 20 minutes for lunch. It's an experience that is best enjoyed slowly and thoughtfully. They don't rush you to finish so they can turn a table, so take your time and enjoy yourself. The drinks are great, too! Hmm. The ambience is interesting and entertaining but not loud and obnoxious. I look forward to coming back every time I visit FMB. Shout out to Taylor and Brooklyn!

My favorite clam chowder in the area. I've had 4 different ones in the last week at different restaurants but theirs was my favorite. Shrimp was delicious and conch fritters had a really spicy dipping sauce that was so good. I've been going here forever but first time back since Isn and was very happy to see them again. Great service too. FMB!!!

We had a really nice time at Yucatan Bar & Grill. My son ordered the chicken fajitas, which came out sizzling and full of flavor, while I had the pot roast with mashed potatoes and a wedge salad. The pot roast was tender and comforting, paired perfectly with the creamy potatoes, and the salad was crisp and fresh. I also enjoyed a drink with my meal. The atmosphere was laid-back and family-friendly, which made it a great spot to bring my three boys while still being able to relax and enjoy myself. Staff was amazing and friendly, even though she was working like 12 tables alone....

They told us it would be about a 45 minute wait but we got sat right away because we asked for first available. We ended up being seated outside by the water. (Thank goodness cuz inside was just too chaotic) It was beautiful! Our table was right on the edge, kinda scared, but cool. Im surprised there was no gate. I wonder how many people have fallen in? My husband and I always share chowder as an appetizer. As usual, delishous.. i got the Beachbake (haddock with 4 crab stuffed shrimp.) It was good, but not what I was in the mood for. The veggie was zucchini, squash and red peppers. Cooked perfect. And i substituted the rice for the coconut crusted onion rings.. OMG!! I could of had just those for dinner and been happy! Get those for your app next time your there! They are so big and crunchy and the tropical dipping sauce is so good too! I was about to eat the rest of it out of the cup with a spoon! Lol. Having those on the side is probably why I didnt enjoy my dinner as I should have. My husband got the fried grouper dinner. There fries are so big and crispy too! And they have some great tarter sauce. Very good sized portions! He was definitely full after. Some of the others: got the special, Bbq pulled pork sandwich, The sailors delight and boom boom shrimp tacos. The presentation for everything was great and no complaints about anything.. (except the mango margaritas seemed like they forgot the alcohol. But the Moscow mules were good) Our waitress was very attentive, personable, and on top of everything the whole time we were there. It got to be sunset time and what a perfect place to be to see the sunset! We loved where we sat watching all the people come up on their boats and dock and just walk up for dinner.
