This particular coffee shop was recommended to me by a friend who raved about their macarons. I decided to make a quick stop this morning before work. This place is tucked away in a strip mall east of the DI on 9400 South and 825 East. Its exterior is unassuming and looks like any other coffee shop in the area. However, their offerings are so much better than I expected. In addition to the macarons, I got a charcoal latte with soy to go along with them. I know a charcoal latte sounds blecch and conjures up images of grilling charcoal. Yeah...ew. But...This drink is a new love. The latte was so smooth and velvety with a little coconut aftertaste. So yums! It was the perfect amount of sweetness to complement the savoriness of the macarons. I'm hooked. Their service for the most part was quick and pleasant. The dude taking my order today seemed a bit ditzy though. He didn't fully finish my entire order and he didn't take my money as I held it out to pay. Instead having his co-worker accept it as he said to me,"We were talking..." Otherwise, they would've received 5 stars from me. Nevertheless, I'll still come back. Excellent charcoal latte and avocado toast. Very peaceful place to have coffee and light breakfast and enjoy life before you tackle the grimes of work and wish for a giant meteor crashing down. The barista was patient and informative when I asked questions. She even politely ask if I wanted espresso in the latte. Kudos to her. read more

This is my new favorite coffee shop. It's on par with the best of the downtown coffee shops such as publik coffee house. Their breakfast selections of oats is delicious and I love their coffee. They have reverse siphon coffee and delicious, fresh roasted beans. The WiFi works great and they even have work rooms in the back should you want a casual offsite office meeting. I'm super happy this places popped up since I don't have to drive to downtown anymore for decent coffee. read more

Seriously so nice! My husband and I have never been to a brand & brew before, when we walked in the menu looked a little intimidating but after looking it was broke down nicely and loved that it showed all the calories for each item and size. The girls were super nice and helpful here too. We had about a half hour we needed to kill this morning and it was really nice and convenient to chill here and enjoy our treats. The cream cheese danish was to die for FYI! Comfy leather cushion chairs were perfect after being in a car all weekend. Clean and smelled great too! read more

The coffee is delicious (I tried one of their featured cold brews-yum!) and their avocado toast was as delicious as it was aesthetically pleasing. I am a Bean Yard stan. The employees are always SUPER nice, the ambience is amazing, and the pastries (my favorite being the vanilla lavender scone) are to-die-for! I highly recommend coming here to study. The only disappointing thing is that it closes pretty early and sometimes the WiFi has trouble connecting. read more

I was here almost a year ago and I can't get this place out of by head! I was visiting from California and I needed a good cup of coffee. I came one day and got the avocado toast and vanilla latte- SO GOOD. I stayed a few hours while I was waiting for my friend to get off of work (I didn't want to be stuck in the hotel all day). I came back on my last day after my hotel check out and I stayed a few hours again until my flight in the later afternoon and got the vanilla latte again. The ambience was so comforting and, as much as I felt like a burden for staying so long, the staff made me feel welcome! I talked to this woman before I left on my last day and told her my story and she told me hers, and I ended up buying a t-shirt! Anyway, I just wanted to share my amazing experience and how much I definitely recommend this place. This was one of the highlights of my trip and if I'm ever in town again, this will be my first stop! read more

I feel bad about being the one to question these great reviews. But the coffee we had just wasn't good. We tried an Americano, a Latte, and a drip coffee to try to get a feel for what they do well. The Americano and Latte were extremely weak. Pretty flavorless. The drip coffee was the best. Still tasted weak and a bit acidic. (My husband likes acidic coffee and he said it was just okay.) The service was super friendly and the place was gorgeous. We were just disappointed with the coffee. read more

Came in on Saturday mid morning. It wasn't too crowded, however they've only been open a month. Ordered a latte. The espresso was the smoothest I've had since moving to the valley earlier this year. I love their lattes. I tried their plain latte and the special charcoal latte. They both were the best lattes I've ever had. I didn't really believe the fresh roasted coffee beans would make that much difference, but it was truly amazing. I highly recommend this place to all the coffee lovers!
