The staff were super friendly. And the coffee was definitely delicious. I ended up getting an oat milk latte with the Honduras roast, and a splash of brown sugar syrup. It was honestly the most delightful coffee. I've had this trip in Utah. I believe they roast everything in house so the menu is very minimalistic, but you don't need variety when what you're selling is out of this world! 1000% yes. Want coffee? Come here. Want tea? Come here. Want a place to chill and hang out or do homework? Come here. This was such a hidden gem despite it being on a main road. I literally drive down this road every time for work, but never stopped by until Saturday. There is no drive thru so you must park and go in. There is plenty of street parking and parking in the neighborhood. The coffee is super tasty according to my husband who got the latte. As for me, I got the matcha latte. I really liked that the matcha comes unsweetened. If you want it to be sweetened, you can let them know and they will add a sweetener to it. I highly recommend this spot for your coffee needs. I was pleasantly surprised with this coffee shop. It is in an area that seems to be very much bohemian artsy type are. But the honey latte is on of the best lates I've had. I explore many coffee shops in Salt Lake City, and blue copper 2000 is one of my favorite go to places. It is easy to get to from my place and the atmosphere here is very relaxing. I recently stepped in and was greeted by Jon a very awesome guy that was very friendly towards me, and even offered to pay for my cortado when my card was rejected. I stopped at blue copper when I was in town and they were very welcoming. I forgot to take pictures, but the decor in here is very well thought out and it makes you want to stay for hours. It is a very trendy coffee shop. You can catch up with your friends or get work done which I saw people doing both. I got the espresso tonic and it might be one of the best that I've had. The barista's mentioned that they use a syrup that is local to the area which is bright and refreshing and citrusy. It was so delicious that I came back the next day to get another one. I was so surprised that I liked blue copper as much as I did! I have never been to their original spot over near jade market & water witch so I didn't know what to expect. last month I got a tattoo next door at everybody tattoo studio & this is their next door neighbor. my sister & her friend came with me to my appointment & got some drinks next door while I was getting tattooed. they said that the coffee was just okay & the service was not good so i decided to go to my go-to in salt lake, caffe expresso instead. fast forward to this past week, my husband was getting a tattoo next door on wednesday. we were a little late to his 10:00 am appointment so we didn't stop in & get coffee before like we wanted. his appointment lasted 3 hours & we desperately needed some caffeine afterwards. the space opened up in early may just like their neighbor, ETS. the space is beautifully decorated & very trendy. the girls behind the counter were quiet, but still friendly & personable. we both got 20 oz. iced lattes & they were surprisingly impressive! no extra flavor shots or caffeine- just delicious strong espresso. this part of town (marmalade district) is up & coming & blue copper is just one example of a great new edition! read more

The hibiscus tea was brewed in a teapot and was quite good!! I added a bit of sugar to sweeten it. Their hot chocolate was okay... it wasn't the best but not the worst... The employees here felt a bit annoyed that we came an hour before they closed, but we didn't even stay long (15 minutes?) so that was kind of off-putting. Happy to have a walkable coffee place in Marmalade District. Place is cute, we love Oat Milk in our coffee. And the consciousness of not having little paper wasteful packets of sugars and non-sugars...here they have a sweet pour of simple sugar to ad to your java! Great little spot for coffee during my stay in SLC. Will come back next time I pass through town! I used their beans for pour over, had cold brew and lattes. All were great for those coffee snobs out there! The vanilla latte isn't too sweet either. The baristas were always super nice and even recognized me during my short stay. read more

I was happy to be getting a coffee shop in our neighborhood that has a good reputation. Moka has left Marmalade, but even if they didn't there hours of operation were not great. Blue Copper is better but still wish it opened at 6am. I do think the coffee is good, much better than charbucks. That being said it falls short of its price point. That only takes a star away. Many people love the coffee here. The other star is in reference is the friendliness of the staff. Most of the time I've been there I felt like I was a nuisance. I also think their pastries could be better. In the end I'm glad it's there and I think that the majority of people will love this place, for me it's just over rated. read more

My boyfriend went out to grab coffee this morning and decided to stop at this new location. When he got there, he noticed an employee setting up for the day. We've had some issues lately with google times and yelp times misleading us on location hours lately. He proceeded to ask her if the shop is currently open or in the process of opening and would be ready soon to serve. She rudely told him that he needed to go check the hour signs for that when she could have taken 10 more seconds to greet him, let him know they are in fact open, and for all information on store hours, he could read the sign posted on the door. Maybe she wasn't having a great start to the day, but customer service is key. The coffee, itself, is pretty good.
