I can't tell you how happy I came here. I found Rose (the amazing stylist) on the beauty bar IG. She was able to fit me in her schedule as soon as she could and although I was a bit scared to think my hair was about to change drastically I was still motivated for her to do it. Rose is the BESSSSSST she made me feel so comfortable and completely listened to my concerns and what I wanted for my hair and did EVERYTHING EXACTLY how I wanted!!! The beauty bar is a bit hard to find located near apt buildings. The friendly hair stylist listened carefully to what I told her, and she was ready right away. I didn't have to wait.

Such a cute spot! Ahlissa helped me feel pampered with soft care. I would recommend asking for a cuticle softener prior to pushing them back but overall was great nail care. The pedicure was awesome! Didn't have a lamp to solidify the nail polish before leaving so I messed one up a little getting into the car. Otherwise, I left feeling like my money was well spent. I called to see about an appointment at noon. At first I was told no but then came on the phone and offered an appointment at 2:30. At around two I got an updated appointment time and only was off by 15 min. The good thing is that I wasn't waiting around. Everyone was super pleasant and Prisma Ruiz was my hairArtist. I was really upset after spending $167.00 for hair and makeup for a wedding. My face turned out completely pale in every picture, not matching the rest of my skin tone. I have a dark tone to my skin and it was made white. I asked about it and was assured that it was just the lighting in the salon. Allie did a phenomenal job with my hair. I have an undercut style and have very thick hair. This was my first time with Allie. Some simple instructions and 20 minutes later, she was done. The pedicure was pretty good and the pedicurist was very nice but I'm not sure if it is because it was clear we were tourists or not, but I felt totally taken advantage of. The menu stated pedicures were 35 or luxe for 45. I asked for a pedicure and then was charged 45. I mentioned that unless we state otherwise they shouldn't assume we want a luxe treatment. The woman checking me out said she didn't know the menu said that and that all pedicures are 45, which seems like a blatant lie. I told her that was the most expensive pedicure I have ever had and I'm from a large city. She just said sorry. Very disappointing. Definitely not a $50 pedicure treatment. read more

I had the pleasure of getting a pedicure from Gloria and it was so relaxing. The chair was ok, the massage didn't go all the way up my back.

I had some time in-between classes at UTEP and really needed a mani BAD. I figured since I was there, I might as well get a mani too since I was graduating and this was my Mother's Day and Graduation treat to myself. I searched for salons near the campus and this one had great reviews. I walked and luckily, someone had cancelled their mani/pedi appointment that morning so they took me in right away. Gloria did a wonderful job. She was meticulous and by far, hands down, best pedicure EVER. She has hands of an angel - that massage right at the end was very much needed. She listened to my needs and took her time. I don't live in the area, but I definitely will be returning to her for another pedi! The mani was great too and she even fixed my mani when the nail color chipped on one of the nails. She is so awesome! read more

I wanted to love this place. It was right next door to the apartment that I was staying at. I recently moved from Los Angeles and was looking for a new place and I loved the vibe when I walked by. However, I came 5 mins prior to my appointment. There was literally 2 people in the entire salon. The nail tech told me to take a seat..which I then sat and waited for almost 30 minutes. I was walking out to leave and the hair stylist came outside as I was walking away. I decided to give it a shot because I needed my roots done. I just spent an exorbitant amount of money getting the black/very dark brown out of my hair. I asked for a color similar to my new lightened hair. The color ended up being way too dark. Then, I go to pay and the sign says 80$ for root touch ups (I BARELY had any grey showing) but was changed 108$. I wrote the owner and asked why I was charged much more than the listed price. She told me that that was only the price for people who come to get their roots done every 2 weeks. So, overall it was very disappointing and I will not be going back. read more
