Turn on Ore Street and then turn left into the parking lot for the rear of the building and you will see the sign for Sandy's Tanning and Nail Salon on the left. If you miss the turn you can hit Southpoint Circle and turn into the back lot that way. Once you know where it is, it seems easy, but GPS failed me the first time, and I was wandering around further south near Terry's Discount Windows and More like an idiot for a few minutes wondering if the business moved. I had a lady named Krysten and from the very beginning she was rude and unprofessional. I offered small talk and she was not interested which is fine. I'm there to relax. However she game me one to two word commands such as; in water, what color? She never asked if water felt ok, if I like the color I had picked out. Then when it came to my nails, again one to two word commands. She was very rough, cut my finger and never acknowledged it. My nails look stubby and unreal. My nails were so sore last night from her being so rough. I was charged $126 for a signature pedicure that lasted maybe 20 min and acrylic nails with gel paint. My niece got the most expensive pedicure that lasted the entire time it took got my pedicure and manicure then got a set of acrylic too and was charged the same amount. Very disappointed. all instruments were unclean. No sterilization bags or observation of new tools per client.

The itching was extremely intense, my nails were bleeding, and the damage was much worse than anything I had ever experienced from a nail service. Looking back, I honestly feel like I should have reported this business to the health department because something clearly was not right with the condition my nails were left in. Five months later, the itching has finally gone away, but my nails are still yellow and brittle. I can still feel peeling and damage underneath the nails, and my thumb in particular still has noticeable damage that I can physically feel. This has been a long and frustrating healing process, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering getting their nails done here to be very cautious. No nail service should leave you dealing with this kind of damage months later.
