Most painful pedicure I've ever had! And dirty tools/foot baths. I made an appointment and still waited while technicians not doing anything stared at me for a half hour. The girl doing my pedi didn't even ask me for any feedback or what I wanted. I had to tell her to cut my nails. She didn't even cuts them evenly - my left big toe nail is diagonal. She was rude with every response and rushed though. Didn't even try to make it a good experience. The happy birthday song was blasting on repeat for close to an hour. So loud we couldn't talk. I asked if they could change it and everyone clapped. Nicely decorated, but the workers are rude and rushed. No personality. Far from relaxing. Won't ever spend another dollar here. read more

First time. And last time. Tech In A rush. My nails look and feel terrible. They aren't round and not square. Ridges. It cleaned up around the edges. Even with the shellac. First time here and I got the Luxury Pedicure and a full set of acrylics. I believe Trish was who did everything. I've had better pedicures before but it was still done properly, looks nice, and I have no cuts. The salon itself is in excellent condition. The massage chair I was in, however - something was off with the rollers and the right side kept massaging my spine instead of the muscles no matter what setting I put it on, so I just turned it off after awhile. Anyways, my nails were done quickly and properly. i love the color and the length and thickness for an at-home mom is perfect. LI added the extra $10 ombré, which I don't think looks bad but I think the example nails that were shown to me look much better; less glitter was used and it flowed better. Either way, I enjoyed myself yesterday. The ladies were friendly, the music playing was 90's R&B (my people!) and overall it was a great experience. Beyond disappointed... PLEASE READ and let this be a sign to avoid going here. I received truly the worst full set manicure I've ever had. I left the salon almost in tears. My mom and I decided to get our nails done for Mother's Day. I must add that this holiday is the most painful for me because my son was stillborn just over a year ago. I called the day before to see if/when they had time to get us in. The woman said 9:30. Fantastic. I sat down at the station and told the woman that my nails are very thin so to please be careful. She was not. My pinky nail began to bleed a little when she used the electric nail filer over it. First of all, as you can see by my pictures my nails are different lengths and crooked. I mentioned it, but she ignored me. She also completely skipped doing my cuticles. The application process was outrageously sloppy. The acrylic was literally so thick that is was dripping and sliding off of my nail. Again, I mentioned it to the woman, but she rudely motioned my hands and fingers moving side to side. I decided it was best to keep quiet at that point. From start to finish this BOTCHED job lasted 15 minutes...that's the honest truth. And it clearly shows. This was a $50 set. My mom also paid $50 for a 20 minute pedicure. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

wow. that's all i have to say. these woman are magicians with they're work. i came here with my two cousins for a girls day and we were all extremely pleased with the outcome. i had never been treated with so much respect by a nail tech, even when my cousin spilled her starbucks all over the floor on accident they weren't ever rude. if you ever need to get your nails done in the valpo area i would highly highly recommend!! read more

They let just anybody do a pedicure here. This is how my paraffin pedi looked. He kept squishing it together and it was no longer in liquid form when I put my feet in the bag. I tried to explain my disappointment but nobody there understood me. Plus he cut me trimming my cuticles. Not happy at all!! On Tuesday March 7th, my daughter and I went for a mani/pedi. I got there earlier than her, so I decided to have my no chip changed. The gentleman that did them was very friendly today but missed the cuticles alot. My daughter came in and they had her sit in the pedi chair, by the owner, to do both services. I've never seen a salon do that before, and I've been getting my nails done for at least 24 years, but ok. I finished with my mani, and this gentleman (didn't get his name), asked if it was good? I replied yes. I then got my pedi done which went ok. When we finished our services and went to the nail dryer. Well, in the mean time, she went to get her keys out and smudged the thumb nail. She asked if she could fix it . She came over with polish, and my daughter said one sec i have to get my keys. She said smartly "I will come back" she wasn't busy, and my daughter said no I got it. The woman had the meanest look on her face as though she was annoyed. She finished and my daughter gave her a $13 tip, she snatched it out of her hand and didn't even say thank you. My daughter asked did I do something wrong? No reply, she wouldn't even look up. I even then asked, still no acknowledgement so we left. Went to lunch and in the sunlight, you could definitely see he did not completely cover my nails with topcoat. After lunch, I actually went back to have him redo the topcoat. I got there at 5:30 p.m. and they were closed! The sign clearly states hours 9:30 to 7:30. So now I had to go back on Wednesday. When I stated what was wrong, could he just add topcoat again to cover the missed area, he was just sitting in a chair on his cell? Well, the owner treated me as a criminal, like I was lying. She whipped my hand around and gave me an evil look. She said something in a different language to him. Now he wasn't happy. I sat down and he states "I asked you, and you said yes" I told him "I didn't notice till I was at the restaurant". He wouldn't say one more word to me. He put me by the dryer. I turned to the owner and asked if I could talk to her? Apparently, she didn't want to get up from her seat. I told her when my daughter got home, she washed her hand and the polish peeled off and never got a topcoat. She asked if it was no chip, I told her no regular polish. She said they don't stand behind that. I said are you kidding me? I got up to leave and told her "that's good business" and walked out. So rude, I will never go back. And they were recommended to us. So I went to this place to get a fill. I showed a picture of what I wanted and they did not do that. This place is supposed to be known for doing good designs and when I went it certainly was not true. My first issue is that they are all different lengths. The second issue I have is that on my ring finger, there is not as much glitter as there is on my right hand. They are all supposed to be ombré and I did not receive that. The designs are overall just terrible. My thumb on my right hand is not evened out one bit. I do not recommend going here as I paid $55 dollars for these and did not get what I wanted at all. I about had a breakdown from just looking at these. Mind that she redid the paint a couple times and still did not get anything right. I asked for her to cut them down a bit from my other set of nails and that was not fulfilled either. 1/5 recommended. read more

I was greeted and taken care of right away. This place is great! They have all brand new colors, metallic no chip nails, which are neat!! A large range of polish for toes. I am down right mad at this place! No way did I get a decent pedicure! My feet are as rough as they were when I went in and plus the technician was pushing me to get no chip and pushing hard, only to find out it's $20 more... no way!!! They don't tell you ahead of time the price difference, beware and ASK!!!! No wonder she was pushing so hard! they didn't get started on me only 12:30 and I had a 12 appointment. As I watched her fart around and play on her phone and then finally 10 mins later come to me and do a shitty job!!!! The first time I walked in I had gel manicure done which was not one of the best works I have seen- on there defense, I had a infant with me in one hand. The gel manicure lasted just a week and started chipping off. I went back and showed my nails to Trish and she immediately redid my paint. I was really not impressed with my first visit to Trish's. The nail tech rushed through and didn't really listen to what I wanted, my nails are very uneven and bumpy. None of my nails are the same length. I asked for coffin nails and even showed pictures and she didn't look at the picture for more than half a second. She knew I wasn't happy with the job she did and said she would give me a free design to make up for it. She also used a fake nail to pry my old set off after I asked for a new full set and specifically said I wanted a soak off. My nail beds are very thin already and I know she damaged them more. I've worked in the service industry so I am pretty patient and I don't typically leave reviews like this, but do not spend your money here. I called for an appointment and had to wait an hour and I was treated as if I was a walk-in getting squeezed in. I got the worst manicure that I've ever received. I was seated at a chair but the manicurist was too busy that she barely did anything but paint my nails. The "manicure" was soaking my fingers in cold water and then the manicurist shaving my nail beds down for no reason. My cuticles were not touched, and that was the entirety of the manicure. There was confusion on what color I wanted and instead of being accommodating whatsoever, the woman said "this is what you get" until I insisted that I had shown her a picture of something completely different earlier (she was just too busy). She finally agreed to change it but I waited another half hour while she ignored me and dealt with other clients until I finally asked for a refund. They do not treat clients well and you will waste time here. read more

First time I went to this nail salon, the girl was very nice and did a great job on my mani and pedi. I went back a week later to change the color on my toes, this time I had someone different. She completely changed my view of this salon. Can you say MONEY HUNGRY!! As she was taking off the polish on my toes, I asked if she could remove the chipped polish from 4 of my nails, and I asked for a third coat on the toe polish because it was thin. She complained about the third coat and when I went to pay she charged me $5 for removing the polish from 4 of my finger nails! Chipped polish at that!! Will never return again!! I went here with my daughter they did a horrible job on both of us it wasn't even covering our nails and they painted the wrong color. I told them it looked horrible they said they did not care. I said I was going to go to a different salon to have them fixed but they still charged us full price. It was 50$ to just paint my 2 yr old daughters nails. I should have left when I didn't feel the place was clean. The manicure and pedicure I got were horrible. Less than 24hrs and the nail polish is already chipping. I was looking around at the sanitizing that was being done by the employees and comparing it to what should be done as per Indiana regulations for manicure salons. (I had pulled up the document on my phone out of curiosity.) The manicurist/pedicurist did even wear gloves during the pedicure. They are supposed to use bleach to clean the foot bowls and they didn't. I think towels were being reused. I hope I don't contract some disease or get an infection. Shame on me. I should have left. I've been going to Trish's Nails for a couple of months now and I love it. After going to a few other local salons and not being happy with the end result, I only go to Trish Nails. LeeAnn always does my nails but she wasn't available when I walked in once (I usually make an appointment) so someone else did them and they turned out just as great. Whether you walk in or have an appointment, you don't wait very long - which is something that other salons in the area cannot say. I waited 45 minutes at another salon and I had an appointment - not acceptable! I have received many compliments on my nails and people tell me that they didn't realize that they were acrylic - they thought they were my nails and these were from other nail techs! The staff is always friendly and very accommodating to requests and designs. If you don't like something - tell them and they'll fix it. read more
