So we happened to be in town and we needed a hair cut. My wife and her family are from San Angelo and coming from Austin I am used to the places I trust. So I came on to my trusty yelp to check out the reviews. After reviewing these we decided to check this place out. We first called to see if they had to make an appointment keep in mind this is Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving. And they were open and available! What amazed us even more they were able to take all 3 of us ( myself, my wife and son) Laura did an excellent job cutting our hair! Very easy to talk to and great personality! Esp. Giving her ideas and places to eat when she comes to ATX. For the price we got all of our haircuts it would have been approx. Twice as much here in ATX! Thank you again Laura. Laura has cut my hair for the first time recently. It took me TWO years to grow my hair when i cut it living and going to school in Denver.. ( cosmetology school at Aveda ) SO WITH SAYING THAT. I AM PICKY. it took me two years to even cut my hair in san angelo. I went in with long hair and just wanting a trim, Every time i say trim in the past it ends up being a 3 inch shorter than i came in with. So you can see my reluctance to get a "trim" Went in and Laura did my consultation. First the first time 1/2 of an inch was cut and the angels sang. SO HAPPY! Finally a real trim and she added long layers. She is awesome and her color I've seen which is also great. Daniel, My boyfriend gets his hair cuts by Antonio at the beauty parlor and Antonio is a saint as well. Gentleman hair cuts, good beard trims, rat tails, greaser looks. He can do it all! I came into town for military training and found this place on Yelp. I was not disappointed. Laura did a great job on my cut and color and you can't beat the price! I walked in, she made me an appt for about an hour and a half later b/c she had a prior appt and also went over what color I was looking for. Very friendly & did a wonderful job. Perfect. CASEY IS FANTASTIC!!!! We just moved to town and i am always reluctant to try a new hairdresser because i have very long hair and always scared they will cut it all off of mess it up. I called here because of the awesome reviews that were posted about the girls. Casey was able to get me in within a couple days and i am so glad i used her! She knew about color and tones and i got the best color and cut that i have ever gotten!!! I told her about my concerns with fading and she offered great advice about how to keep my color vibrant and products to use to combat the different type of water. I was considering not leaving a review because I felt so bad about what happened to me here and didn't want to leave an emotionally rash review, But I've decided to try and warn others. I went about a month ago expecting a trim, add a little bit of layers and get swooped bangs. Laura did my hair and unfortunately it got botched. Instead of having my bangs go from short to long in the front they went from long to short and I ended up having to get straight across bangs because she kept cutting them shorter and shorter until there was no choice. Thankfully Danielle fixed my bangs and the rest of my haircut which was completely off. They said I could go back once my bangs were grown out to get them fixed because they were still uneven, then but I'm still not sure I'm even going to do that. I'm sorry Laura, I was in tears all day that day and I don't want anyone else to go through that. Thank you Danielle for saving my hair that day! read more

My barber is out of town for two weeks and needed a fade really bad. I asked around for good barbers and a friend of mine referred me to this place and to go see Antonio. He is a cool dude and is very courteous. He takes his time and makes good conversation as well. The ladies there were really friendly as well. My boyfriend and I were just passing through town and decided to get haircuts at the beauty parlor. Casie (sorry if I'm spelling it wrong) did a great job on my haircut. She was very careful and patient. She listened to what I requested and it was exactly what I received - all with scissors, no razors! My boyfriend got his haircut with Laura and it came out nice and clean. He is also happy with it. The service was great and was affordable. We move around a lot, my husband is oilfield so I rely on Yelp to find places and services. Out of both Midland and San Angelo this place by far has the best reviews. Antonio kept sticking out to me, so I made an appointment with him for my husband. We found this place very stylish and friendly and before Antonio even started on my husband we knew we had come to the right place. Antonio completely nailed what my husband wanted, and taught him how to do the new hairdo. Best stylist he has EVER been to, including all the stylists he went to in Houston. Happy to have found him. Terrible customer service and look for excuses when they don't want to work. Wait until last minute to cancel appt is extremely disrespectful and that's what they do esp after sending Laura pics a day ahead of ideas on what I wanted to do. She waited until right before appt to tell me she didn't want to do it and she was sorry. Yep she's sorry alright. read more

I have been going here for a couple of years to Danielle. She always ask what I am looking for and encourages me to go out of my comfort zone when I am feeling daring and ready for change. When she can't fit me in I will gladly use any of the other stylist. This place gives back to the community! I sit on a board that provides for neglected and abused children. They have done fundraisers dedicating their time and talents. Every dollar that The Beauty Parlor has raised 100% has gone to the children. NONE of the stylist profited or paid themselves. Not only is this a great place to get a great style but it's also a place that cares about the community. read more
