I came in the next day, she told me to wait while she made a personal call to schedule her bachelorette party. She would stop cutting my hair to talk And my haircut was absolutely terrible looked nothing like the reference photo I showed and she didn't not cater the cut to my curl type the layers were also uneven, she also had no idea how to style my curl type and when she was finished it came out almost wavy. I requested the curly package but it was basically a regular cut with a treatment she put in my hair that dried my hair out, and the package was almost $200.

I'll add my hair had been toned and "glossed". Which I also don't recommend the gloss since I saw no real difference in the texture of my hair. After leavening the first time and breaking down after getting home, I called back and said I wasn't quite happy, they're we're very helpful and able to get me back in that week. Well, I go back and they added more highlight but now the top two inches of my hair is so brassy, and the rest is my normal blonde color. The best part is. I was told just to use a purple shampoo and it should start to blend it with the rest of my hair. If you're a blonde, you know purple shampoo does nothing if that hair was never lightened enough from the start. I have no other option than to just wait it out and see my normal stylist back home. If you are blonde, this is not the salon for you. It's really hard to find a stylist who can treat blond hair right and unfortunately this place is not it. The second photo is post my second appointment, the third is after the at home toner I decided to try in a last stitch effort to fix this mess. Mind you, I paid $180 for color, trim, toner, and "gloss". I paid almost $200 for my hair to be turned brassy yuck.

From start to finish I received quality and straightforward service from The Beauty Parlor. I'm from out of town, needed a last minute haircut and chose The Beauty Parlor based on positive reviews I read online. I called and was able to schedule an appointment the same day with Thomas. I'm a basic girl who was just looking for a haircut without the pretention and over-the-top nature usually associated with higher quality salons. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised to get the best of all worlds. To give a basic overview of my experience: I was seen at my scheduled appointment time and with my haircut received a shampoo and styling. The environment was very laidback and professional. I was extremely satisfied with my overall interaction with the staff Thomas's workmanship. I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in town and I'd highly recommend them. read more

To say I have difficult hair is an understatement. It's super thick, curly, and very long. So, one could imagine how choosy I would be, and how easily frustrated a stylist could become. I found this place on the recommendation of a family member and have been very pleased with the way my hair turns out. The salon is very clean with a retro-kitch atmosphere that is fun without the pretentious "too-cool-for-school" vibe. Getting an appointment is quite easy and the prices are very reasonable, especially for my hot mess head. I would highly recommend. read more

Im here in town for 4months, and my friend told me about it. It really is the best place to get a hair cut. My hair is really long, and every time I go some where they cut it short:(.
