It's been a hot minute since I've eaten at the Beehive. I am happy that they have held consistent standards and ratings, even with a menu that is completely transformed from what it was. We stopped in for lunch, place was packed. They can hold a lot of people and staffing was good so wait times were not extreme. The menu is large, large, large, which generally concerns me for fresh ingredients. That didn't seem to be an issue for anything we ordered at the table and everything came out hot and fresh. We did a few orders of spicy fries for appetizers and they were good. The beer cheese dip was fairly thin but great on flavor. Didn't care much for the battered green beans but they were okay. Main courses were mostly burgers, a Gyro, and a salad (there's one in every crowd.) Personally I ordered the bacon guac burger and it was fantastic. Too big to pick up and eat and I could only power through about 75% of it. The brisket burger was reported as amazing as well. The Philly and gyro placed slightly behind the burgers but all were very tasty. Most of us ordered the onion rings and they are hand battered goodness. read more

This was a nice little find on Main Street in Logan. Excellent and fast service and it was busy!! The food was excellent and they had unique options. Always love Beehive grill when we are in Logan. There is something for everyone. They accommodate groups great. Some of my favorites are the apps- tempura green beans, coconut shrimp, and spinach dips. Only complaint was the long wait to get in get order taken and get our food. You know the food is not a problem when the place is a 45 minute wait to get a seat and then wait another hour to get your food. If you are in a hurry forget going here. I usually stop at this restaurant after attending a USU game. It was pretty busy on a Saturday night but they seat the customers pretty quickly. This time I ordered the beehive Reuben sandwich with fries. The server was friendly and there's lots of options for food and drinks. They even make a homemade root beer. They have all sorts of cocktails and a variety of beers. I always think the food here is quite good. I've ate here numerous times but figured I should probably write a review. The Beehive Grill is staying busy-bee at dinner time it seems (good on them!) but subsequent visits for us have dropped in quality while prices have climbed. Saying the fries and fry sauce are really tasty is not good enough. Especially when the sweet potato fries are so often overcooked and come at an upcharge. Not when the fish portions got poorer in quality. Not nearly as juicy or as quality a batter coating as they once were. Not when the Juicy Lucy isn't a real Jucy Lucy (a big patty stuffed with molten cheese) but rather a fairly regular double-double cheeseburger. Not bad but not special nor authentic. And especially not when their Cadillac burger offering -- now $15 + upcharges -- is a "King Kobe" burger that, while not horrible, is not kingly nor perceptibly worth the substantial beef upcharge. (American wagyu is consistently oversold...) They wouldn't even make the bahn-mi sandwich on a French roll -- like it should be made (or a baguette), and a short version which they use for their fish sandwich. Instead it's gyro flatbread. I don't think Beehive Grill is a bad stop but my enthusiasm has waned. read more

I've been here a few times this summer and have never been disappointed. First of all, I like the setting. It has that warm and friendly atmosphere that many older restaurants have developed over time. There's definitely a regular following as it's been full almost every time of the day I've arrived. The staff recommends making a reservation, although it's not always necessary. I've ordered the Beehive Quesadilla, which is listed under Appetizers, but is definitely full meal sized. Next trip I had the Southwest Chicken Pasta. Very yummy, but a little spicier than I like. I've also had a locals favorite: a wedge salad topped with boneless chicken wings. A friend was not terribly pleased with her Southwest Chicken pub sandwich, but she had to admit she's really a burger fan and just wanted to try something new. Delicious ribeye steak! Juicy, flavorful. It lacked consistency in my medium well choice. Some areas were cooked to temperature choice and others were off. Our party sat in the bar area. The waitress provided great service; she consistently checked with our party to learn if we needed extra refills or anything else. Overall, a great dining experience. read more

The blue cheese burger and jalapeño dusted fries with the fry sauce are so good!!!!!! This is one of my favorite meals ever! When I get a blue cheese burger, I want an ample amount of blue cheese and I want the crumbles not the dressing. Beehive Grill makes their burger just the way I like it! The burger patty is good quality meat and they do not skimp on the amount of meat you receive. I usually can only eat half my burger. I have found it reheats not too bad, if you take that toppings (lettuce and slaw) off before you put it in the fridge and reheat it. The jalapeño dusted fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The jalapeño seasoning adds a nice, mild spice. It does cost extra, but I think it's worth it. Their fry sauce does not taste like your average fry sauce. They add a few extra spices. I'm not a huge fry sauce fan but really like theirs. I will definitely be back soon to back soon to get my blue cheese burger and fries! I did curbside pickup and it was ready when I arrived. You literally pull up to the curbside and they bring it out to you. Everything was packaged nicely and the waitress was friendly. If you place your order online, there is a convenience fee. Next time, I may order and pay over the phone to avoid the small convenience fee. However, the fee isn't large enough to deter me from ordering online again. read more

Great food and service. The food was good and the menu has something for everyone. The beer menu is also great. Overall a great experience!

The service and manager, Kenzie, were awful. We were ignored by our server and had to flag him down. Our drinks came out after the food was delivered and we asked about them again. The old fashioned tasted like pure sugar. The steak salad was raw, which was not asked about how we wanted it prepared. When we finally got the server to come back to our table to tell him the manager just glared at us from around the corner. When we were leaving we walked by the manager, Kenzie, who looked us up and down with a dirty look. The service could have been saved and we would want to go back if she would have just talked to us. Apologized, asked to make a new drink, anything. We would have been happy to pay for the full meal and had any desire to ever go back again. We have been going to Beehive since it opened and never had such a horrible experience. A manager should be able to help the situation if it's bad not make it worse. We have both worked on service industries and love to tip and appreciate someone who tries. So disappointed in the service and especially an unprofessional manager. We are from out of town and this was our second visit to Beehive. The food was good and prices reasonable. A definite stop if you live in or visit Logan. The atmosphere was clean and quiet and able to hold conversation easily despite being full. Ate one of the many salads both times and the Bay Shrimp Salad was huge and delicious. read more

That was the end of my customer service experience. I was never given a menu, my waiter/waitress never came to my table and I sat unattended to for nearly ten minutes. What kind of dining establishment allows in house loitering???? The Beehive Grill that's who!!! If you haven't eaten here within the last several years do yourself a favor and eat here. The rootbeer is the best I've had, the fries and fry sauce are incredible and the Nachos are MVP. The staff dresses odd but they're friendly and professional and do their job well. I ordered the juicy Lucy, in was a good burger without the frills of most fancy burgers. Just lots of cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles. Bomb a** salads!! I got the Chinese salad and I am never disappointed. The chicken is grilled in house (not pre packaged with painted scorch marks on) yum!!
