We really enjoyed everything at Ruby's. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pizza, pizza rolls, and mac n cheese were fabulous!

I forgot to take pictures of my food. I was hungry. I had a chicken sandwich with fries. My husband had a cheeseburger with fries. We had the chicken tacos appetizer. I wish I would have gotten a picture of those because they were delicious. Our server's name was Fiona and she seemed to be very overwhelmed, and new at her job. But she did fine. The ambiance is very casual. We got there about 11:30 and it's a good thing because the place filled right up. It's right by the University so lots of adults show up about noon. read more

Came here on the way home from beer lake and it was amazing! The first impression from the hostess set the intention even though they were busy , was greeted with warm smile and assured us we'd be taken care of. We then were served by Hannah. Since we were starving it felt she took attention to get our order placed promptly with appetizer. This was significant because it looked like she was responsible for 6/7 other tables but we got everything we needed. Food came out fresh and tasty! Drinks stayed filled! Nice and clean, our waitress was great with fast service and the right amount of check ins. The menu has a lot to it from burgers, salads, pizza, and pasta and if you go on the weekend they have a brunch menu. I ended up ordering the chicken and waffle and I split the biscuit and gravy with my wife. The waffle tasted great with the right amount sweet and fluffy to it and the maple syrup was excellent. The chicken had too much breading on it but it did have a good crunch and the chicken was tender. The biscuit was nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and had good flavor. The gravy tasted from a package and was disappointing. Overall a fairly good place. They have plenty of TVs with various sports so it's a good place to go to watch sports. read more

I come to Logan a couple times a year, but I did not know about this restaurant until my most recent trip. I came here to meet up with some friends and we had a great dinner before a USU basketball game. The staff are super friendly they made great recommendations. All of the food was really tasty. I had a salad whichI enjoyed, and my friends had sandwiches with their sweet potato fries. Those waffle fries are pretty good. This is a place I would visit again next time I am in town. read more

Logan Utah, so not surprising when we entered that a question I was quickly asked was, "So, you here for the beer?" Well, yes, we were, but also for good food, and for the fact our dog was welcome at the outside area. Ordered fish and chips, baja chicken salad, and of course, beer. A patron asked if I would help perform for a holiday event tonight. I have been friends with the jolly old elf for over 45 years and have appeared from Maine to California. My reviews have been sterling and my popularity above reproach. Tonight, a manager named Liz at Ruby's Pizzeria in Logan, Utah, changed all that. She took it upon helself to restrict my performance in the middle of the call, saying that it was Christian. I questioed why and how. She doubled down and said that patrons had complained. At yet, when asked, not a single server had heard a complaint nor anything but positive, glowing reviews. I tried to explain that Santa was not peculiar to Christians. Back when it was Old Chicago, Alice (my service dog) and I used to go there often and it was always awesome. Today was the first time we visited since it changed monikers. Seemed the same. The food was excellent, my waitress was outstanding (but hard to find). They first tried to seat us at a table with chairs (Alice can't do chairs). I convinced 'em to move us to a booth, but they moved us to a mini booth, hard for Alice and I do sit on a 1 person bench (there were plenty of full size booths available and empty) The meal (Fish & Chips) came without ketchup. I couldn't get anyone's attention so had to get into my wheelchair and chase someone down. She brought me an empty ketchup container. So I had to go through the chase someone down scene again to actually get some ketchup. The food was outstanding but good food is not hard to find. I doubt Alice & I will ever go back. read more

An easy FIVE star review for Ruby's! Three USU students recommended this place first and they werent frI figured it's gotta be good. We were instantaneous seated, given menus and were told that someone would be right with us. Less than two minutes and our server arrived to take our order! We ordered a thin crust (aged 36 hours!), combination. This is a really nice sport bar/pub/restaurant. REALLY nice. Sapphire was our waitress, great job! It was so messy with my egg running all over the paper. I ended up eating my burger with a knife and fork. This was our first visit to this restaurant. I went with my mom and daughter here for lunch a few days ago. We arrived at 11:15am as they open at 11. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was cozy, yet fun with TVs on the walls like a lot of sport grills. Upon entering the Hostess Sophie was not friendly at all, didn't smile, didn't say welcome, nothing. She literally said, "just 3" grabbed menus and walked away without saying anything to us assuming we were meant to follow her, we did so where she walked towards a booth, threw the menus down and walked away. She didn't say a server will be right with you or anything. We were not impressed. Thank heavens our server Viv came along after a couple minutes and was the complete opposite, so kind, friendly, helpful and attentive. This is honestly the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 3. We each got the lunch special which comes with a good sized pizza and and endless salad. We also got a starter to share the fried pickles, which were super good and I loved that they were cut like fries and not just rounds like most places. The salads were quality ingredients yet simple and my mom said that it was the best salad she's had at a restaurant probably ever. The croutons are homemade and the best croutons I've ever had. Our server even gave me a little container of them to go. The pizzas were fresh and the dough looked s a beer dough which had the perfect rise and cook. It was soft, yet crisp, and not too doughy. The pepperoni was large and old world style. Our server was very nice and had conversations with my little girl. We left her a nice tip and The food was very delicious and our server was fantastic. We will be going back again because of the food and server. But I'd recommend the restaurant take a look at and educate Sophie on how to treat and greet customers. We honestly weren't sure we'd ever consider returning as our encounter with Sophie was our first impression of the establishment. I adore this restaurant. They have a variety of food options and they all really come to play. Lasagna, pizza, burgers, fries and literally every single appetizer. I love their ale crust bbq chicken pizza which is not usually my go to pizza choice, but theirs combined with the Ale Crust is excellent. They have all the beer in the world to choose from, including a bunch of solid Utah choices. Gotta love great beer options right? Service has always been fantastic and their managers Josh and Liz are absolutely on point! Lastly, this place is affordable! No pizza price gouging here! We had a delightful experience at Ruby's. It was recommended to us by a co-worker and we thought we would try it out. The service was the best in the valley from the front desk attendant to our waitress. It was a busy night with the USU football team eating there, but we were seated and served quickly. We ordered a pizza and the big Texas Chicken. We were pleased by both. The thin pizza crust was crispy and tasty. The chicken was perfectly done with a crispy breading and the mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. We were actually able to meat the owner and his managers. They all made sure we were well taken care of and happy. Our waitress even said it was the funnest job she has ever had. When the pasta meals arrived they were crusty on top because they had been sitting so long under the warmer. Fries were cold and buns were soggy. Our meals were delivered with to go boxes because some in our party of 5 had to leave. We were never offered beverage refills, not even water. We were all charge a large group gratuity. Since when is 5 a large group? Staff apologized, saying there was something wrong with kitchen equipment. We were given $5 off coupons. We then waited 15 minutes for our checks. What a mess! We called ahead to learn whether they offer anchovies as a pizza topping, and Josh explained that it's not on the menu as such, but they do keep some on hand for various recipes (such as their house-made Caesar salad dressing) and that he'd take some out and let them stink up the kitchen for us. Their use of fresh ingredients was evident in the quality and taste of the salad and the pizza. Our server, Parker, is a helpful and pleasant young man, but should really tie his hair back when handling food. Many sports bars are too loud for conversation, but this was okay (we weren't in the bar, but were at a table). We were visiting from out of town and decided to give this place a chance based on high reviews. It did NOT disappoint! Our waitress was calm, informative, and quick. The location was easy to get to, and the restaurant was clean. Our food was absolutely delicious! My family tried the queso, mozzarella sticks, spinach alfredo pizza, and the Cesar side salad. The queso had just enough kick to it but not enough to be too spicy for my kids. The pizza was so flavorful and absolutely loaded with toppings. The salad was crisp and fresh, not soggy or watery at all. My kids got the grilled cheese and a kids burger. My daughter wanted bacon on her burger so we ordered it as a side, but the kitchen put it right on the burger for her. For sides they got cheese curds and they were SO GOOD. Very crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. We will definitely come again next time we are passing through the area.
