I thought maybe Logan doesn't have a lot of night life ? It is this town in Utah and although I have family here I didn't exactly know what to expect when it comes to establishments. This place is great! Good relaxed atmosphere and live jazz music on Weds. The bartenders are skilled and waitresses are attentive. We had the pork tenderloin and it was delicious! The wasabi mashed potatoes had the perfect amount of "kick". I opted for the "dealers choice" cocktail and it was fun to see what "surprise" drink I would receive. The waitress asks for your drink pref/tastes/etc. and the bartender makes something up just for you. It was delicious and everything I like in a cocktail. Overall a very nice night out filled with great live music, service and cocktails. I'm not from the area, we were just there for the night, but I would definitely stop in again! Such a fun place!! Whenever I'm in Logan I do my best to go in. Food and drinks are amazing and the employees are super nice!

Drinks are poured with a very light-hand (Jack + Coke and Tequila + Sprite)but the inside was cozy in the corner with the couch to chitchat. Josh made a remark about he will only give us our drinks if we tip which created an uncomfortable environment since we weren't done with our rounds. It was a decent experience at best but it was worth it to come from out-of-state to visit a dear friend. read more

Music seemed the vibe but it was overly crowded that there seemed to have only maybe 2 servers and 3 bartenders and whole lot of "bouncers" sitting around. One male server was ok and the other female server put up her finger to us when we asked for service and never saw her again. Not family friendly despite their website description as it being such we didn't eat there, however we planned to. We are out of towners passing through and this place checked all the boxes for us, great reviews, good beer selection (for Utah) even clicked on the website, read through its own description as a good place to watch live music, or simply just kick back and relax with YOUR FAMILY or friends. When I viewed the menu Looks like something everyone in mine could find something to enjoy. We were turned away at the door by the host because we had children with us. It was before 6pm, so I didn't understand why they wouldn't serve us but we left and found an even more awesome and affordable place to "sit back and relax with my family" If their website had any indication at all that minors aren't allowed at all, I wouldn't even be writing a review. Full disclosure I am from California and if bars serve food and have tables families with children are allowed to dine there until 10pm as long as they aren't sitting at the actual bar, but table seated. I even thought I saw a minor in one of the pictures on yelp so I did not see a rejection coming. read more

Just attended the science-on-tap night. In the previous incarnation of this event, these were serious talks that elicited good questions and discussion afterwards. I was glad to see these were being revived. Tonight's first of two talks was little more than a series of sophomoric animal penis jokes with pictures. What a let-down. The second presentation, about insect protein sources, was at least serious, but was pitched at about high school level of knowledge. Bartenders are still the hardworkers of the place but servers on the floor especially the new ones definitely fell off on customer service. They seem to want to socialize with friends versus serve their guests. Just observing that they take longer to notice guests who dont have drinks and im one of them. Cassidy walked by many guests who were trying to get her attention, my friends and I included, but she'd rather get attention by a group of her friends and talk to them for 10-15 mins. We feel like the newbies need some training. Only been around for a year and its changed in a negative way in the last 4 months. Where is the floor manager? I guess it's a good place for a drink in Logan. Waiter was OK, beer and liquor selection were decent. Food: Nachos were a joke. Small plate of chips with beans and pico dumped on them partially heated and tasting like natural gas. Philly cheese was tiny with a couple pieces of chicken and no flavor. The waffle fries were actually chips with ranch powder to hide the oil flavor. If you end up here get a drink and go somewhere else for food. read more

I love this place! It has a fresh and modern atmosphere with a great beer and cocktail selection. The food here is also outstanding including their vegan and vegetarian options. I've been obsessed with their hummus since I got to town until a friend recommended I branch out on the menu and I started to try the specials. Wow! I have yet to be anything but delighted and impressed with everything I've eaten there. The most recent special of note was the cauliflower steak, beautifully simple in design and presentation this dish was delicious, satisfying and has had me wanting to go back for more. I've been very impressed with this bar/ restaurant. Also, the karaoke nights are absolute fun; I love the easy to use system they use to enter songs as well as the massive song selection and sound system. The karaoke crowd was also fun and supportive. Relaxing venue with a full bar, skilled bartenders, and a great wait staff! They take good care of us every time. It helps to know what to order off the menu. The burgers are all very good! The fries are among the best I've had in a pub. That said, the salads are uninspired and the smoked meats are just not that great; we've tried several of them. If they could serve Gonzalez BBQ (which is soooooo good) they would up their menu tremendously. Until then, stick with the burgers and fries - they are superb! Great new place opened up above the Factory Pizza place. Used to be Gia's, I think? Walking in, you're immediately greeted by friendly staff, who, after checking ID, direct you to an appropriate sitting area (there is ample space in there, both for seating and for social distancing), where I was immediately approached by the serving staff. The place looked great, wide open with big screen TV s around the table area and directly above the bar. The bar itself was my favorite part, gleaming polished wood with comfortable, upholstered stools, behind which stands shelves of liquor. The servers look great, and were very friendly and helpful, offering non-alcoholic options for drinks as well as an impressive list of cocktails. Had trouble deciding on what to eat, wound up going with a prime rib sandwich, served on a hoagie bun with Swiss cheese and served with au jus and a side of fries. The meat was so juicy, the bread almost disintegrated when I got to the second half (reason #1 I am only giving 4 stars), but the sandwich tasted great! Maybe toasting the bread would help with that. Also, their servers should hand out napkins with the meals (reason #2 only 4 stars). The smoking area is a raised back patio, nice and cozy, with plenty of ashtrays and benches to sit on. I might have taken my meal back there if it weren't so cold. Great place, great staff, and I even got to talk to the chef/part-owner for a while. We came to Logan to visit our kids before the fall semester at USU begins. We planned on a fun night on the town. We started at the Cache Venue. We ordered drinks and food. We had to ask another server for napkins utensils and water. Our server Hannah avoided eye contact and any interaction with us. She was very busy rubbing shoulders with a different group. We had to flag her down to order shots! She was finally responsive to my husbands voice when we mentioned we would close the tab. We closed out at $125 and gave her the default 25%tip that was automatic on her hand held credit card scanner while she watched. Hannah you missed out on a much larger tab with a much fatter tip. read more

The Cache is the bar that Logan has desperately needed to inject some legitimate adult night life. Our server of choice has been Hannah, who is a very dedicated and lovely employee. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is superb, and the service is great. I'm not what more you could ask for at a bar. You can even open a tab! There is a back porch area designated for smoking and vaping, but it doubles as a perfect area to cool down or escape the noisy rumbling of the guests' conversations. I was hoping this was going to be my new place! I come from California about 11 years now and it gave me the vibe of California, but after sitting at the bar for about 12 minutes before I was approached for service I starting having my doubts, the bar tender was on His phone and never looked up. Finally got service from another guy and got my drink, same guy took my order and 20 minutes go buy and nothing!! The guy who took my order was nowhere to be seen and the 4 guys behind bar never came buy to see if we needed anything and my drink was empty. Finally couldn't take it anymore and left! Me and my brother came in on Saturday (07/2/22). The bartender took my card, opened a tab and returned the card to me. We each ordered a variant of the Moscow mule, that had a cherry in it. We sat at the bar, watched baseball, talked, finished our drinks, and left. The experience itself and the drinks were rather enjoyable. The reason I'm leaving a 1-star review is this: the drink we each ordered was no more than $6-$7 on the menu, we only drank one each. After checking my bank account I noticed I was charged twice, one charge for $25.60 and one for $21.60. For a total of $47.20. Unless they charge rent for bar seats there is no reason I should have been charged that much. So if that is not the case, I assume there are crooked bartenders who are willing to tip themselves off of your tab. Unless you want to be scammed after what is otherwise a lovely experience, I do not recommend this bar by the most severe degree. read more
