Boat rentals were handled by Jenna in the marina office, and done efficiently and professionally. She allowed us to change the time to accommodate weather, for a more favorable experience. We spent several hours skiing and tubing with 2 different style boats on subsequent days, operating well. Jenna seemed to be the person in charge of coordinating the rentals. If she wasn't the lead person, she certainly should be. This was not our 1st time at Lake Lawn but certainly was one of our best stays.

The B&B is well appointed in charm and decoration....Randy, Tammy, and Debbie, took our experiences to the next level. Breakfast was on point both mornings....the guys in the group didn't get to enjoy much of the bfast on Saturday morning due to us running late for our tee times for golf, but what we did taste of the Quiche and those amazing Peaches, I would ask Randy to serve again on our next visit..... with a side of Rumchatta French toast. We were able to have a great time in the living area and have a separate space to sleep. The room did have a musty odor upon arrival but with the a/c on when we returned the smell dissipated. The sheets had a stain on it, I am assuming it was washed but a left over stain which was off putting but I understand it can happen. There was a stain on couch but again it happens. Overall really good stay. They had breakfast included which is always a plus along with free onsite parking. It is about 20 min from Lake Geneva which is great and had bars close by which was fun.

My plans changed and I canceled the reservation on July 23rd before 4pm. According to the policy on my reservation, I would receive a full refund. Expedia confirmed this, and I have a receipt showing no charge. A few days later I see on my credit card that I was charged for the room. I called the hotel and they accused me of staying there and sent a confirmation card with a signature that was not mine. The manager refused to give his full name and they accused me of lying. I reached out to the parent company and they upheld what hotel claimed. Additionally, I requested video footage of the night to show that I was not there, and have received no reply. I encourage anyone to be very careful booking with this place. I have contacted the police, the BBB, and the local news as this is a consumer protection issue and needs to be investigated.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. We went the third week of September and luckily they still had their outdoor pool and activities going. Every other resort I been to, close their outdoor pool after Labor Day. The view was beautiful specially from their reception area. They didn't have any restaurants however their is a supper club restaurant within a 5mn walk and their sister property is within a 5mn drive and it has an amazing restaurant. They are lake front however is not for swimming but for fishing and boating, you can walk to the public beach entrance which is about a 7mn walk.

Upon getting to our room we discovered the door would not lock, the water to the toilet was shut off and when we turned it on it ran VERY loudly, the thermostat was not working and was stuck on a high temperature, a mirror that had come off the wall was precariously sitting atop a desk poised to fall or hurt someone, the smoke detector was covered with plastic wrap (evidence that our thinking the place reeked of smoke was on point and this is a serious code violation), parts of the wall were coming off, and the place over all was utterly derelict and DISGUSTING. It should be shut down by the department of health and the owners should be ashamed. In the morning when we checked out we showed the desk attendant images and videos of our issues with the room and all he could do was nod and admit that most of the rooms are like that. A disgrace to the industry and we files a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and considering contacting city inspectors.

We enjoyed it there was a balcony outside but that balcony rail is absolutely loose it seems like a liability waiting to happen. There's plenty of tourists here and a lot of people will act like they forgot how to park or they expect top notch privilege which will make going up to the front desk a giant pain upon arrive . If you see a parking spot near the front just take it and walk in and check in . Some of the amenities are pretty cool but I do feel like this place was a bit overrated for the time being. This place felt very outdated as well but this place can be pretty much dead at certain times of the year. The breakfast here is solid but it is absolutely expensive if you go for the Continental package. They charged me $54 and it wasn't even all that good it's probably worth $30 at best. If I knew it was going to be that expensive and underwhelming I would have walked to the gas station and probably paid $10. I will say that there are Lobby shines bright and so does their bar. Whenever there's a party going on usually there's a lot of life going on over here. If you're going to go anywhere and not drive , I recommend taking an Uber and not a Lyft because the price difference is huge.
