As you eat you will enjoy visiting or watching the squirrels and birds. During summer Hummingbirds visit the feeders hung on the patio. There were a plethora of wonderful little seating areas all around outside. We would sit out and have our coffee in the morning, and close out our evenings with a bottle of wine at night under the twinkling lights on the front patio. We met lovely people from all over while we were here. They also have a wonderful pool area, and a continental breakfast all morning. They had fabulous coffee, and a great tea bar with a wide selection, which you had access to from 7AM until 10PM each night. This is a MUST STAY place when you visit Eureka Springs!!!

We too found that the owners were gracious hosts and the breakfast was delicious. I want to add two thoughts. First, the neighborhood was very quiet with lots of well kept and interestingly landscaped old houses, and it was a safe pleasant walk to Crystal Bridges and downtown. Second, if you wanted to drive to Bentonville with a friend who didn't want to go to Crystal Bridges, your friend would be just fine hanging around Laughlin House watching movies on their nice TVs, reading, or sitting (at least in the Spring) in their garden while you visit the museum.

The price is just right for not being too close to downtown, but close enough. It was about a 5 minute drive from the wedding reception. The cottage is so cute, with a vintage looking mini fridge, a coffee maker, and eclectic decor. It definitely fits in with the Eureka springs vibes. I did get to partake in the campfires because we were so busy, but I loved the option and the firewood was there ready to go. I chatted with the owners some before we left, and they were just the nicest people. We will for sure be back and next time I am making s'mores over the campfire!

It is a small, modern, tasteful bit of the picturesque and quintessential American Roadtrip inn. The rooms are color coordinated, clean, and thoughtfully friendly to both the guest and environment (and high quality without attacking the pocketbook!). And, while I checked in late, the owner brought us to the room, explained everything, pointed everything out, and was simply the nicest owner I have met outside of small towns in Europe! What was planned to be a roadtrip with eldest kiddo has turned out to be a magnet, and I hope to return to this beautiful part of the US and FIVE STAR accommodations as soon as possible.

For breakfast it was mostly do-it-yourself with pre-packaged breakfasts like frozen waffles but there was also a fruit smoothie drink, a yogurt parfait, and some seemingly fresh pastries. An easy drive or you can catch the trolley right in front of the hotel. While it's not fancy, the room has what you need. The bed is not the most comfortable I've ever slept in but it's not bad either. The fridge is a mini but a large model! You can get a pretty good bit of stuff in it. A microwave and coffee maker with a smaller bag of local coffee. A larger screen smart TV with Roku and you can sign into any of your services here. Some are provided. I'm not a huge fan of the lodge decor (I don't like animal hides) but it is cozy and I appreciate the theme. A nice little table in the room as well. The shower/toilet area is very small but fine and the shower has good water pressure. The water temp did fluctuate a bit. My guess is because it's an older hotel, but not so bad that you couldn't make it through your shower. There's not really anyone on site if you need something. They leave some supplies (like towels/toilet paper) in an office area where you can grab some. There were definitely no fancy amenities but there is a salt water pool and a sitting area with a fire pit. Plenty of parking in the lot when we were there. Overall, I thought it was in a great location and was definitely worth the money we paid. We spent very little time in our room and mainly just slept and got dressed there so we didn't need much extra. If you prefer more luxury, this might not be the place for you but you'll also need to increase your budget. Made the booking through a website and were given a room number and key code for its electric door lock. No contact or interaction with staff which doesn't bother me in the slightest. This is an older motel that had been lovingly renovated in a sportsman / lodge theme. They really put in the effort and it shows. Most furnishings appear to be hand made from sawmill lumber and the room was cozy and inviting. They used the "retro" style microwave and refrigerator as well. In front of each room are two patio chairs and a table. There is a large covered deck area near the main entrance with a fire pit feature that we didn't visit but looks like fun. Only minor downside was the bed itself appeared to be from a fish camp as well. Metal bolted frame that creaked anytime you moved slightly. Distracting but not enough to cost them a star. Change the bed out and would give you a six star review!
