First off, I am a little OCD when it comes to my cars. I buy them new and keep them for a long time. Early on I realized the importance of proper maintenance and that includes maintaining the outside. Over the years I had taken my cars to multiple detailers in the area. When I got the cars back, there was always something that was missed, lacking or otherwise not as good a job as I had expected. After many trials I finally gave up trying to find a good detailer and decided to do it myself. I bought all the right equipment, educated myself on proper use of products and techniques and proceeded to do it myself, for several years. The problem was, that in doing it myself, it would take me a couple of days to get it done the way I was satisfied. This summer, my cars were in need of a good detailing but I just did not have the time. So, again I shopped around. I remember going past "The Best Auto Detailing" in Neptune many times and I noticed there were always high end cars being worked on. Mercedes, Audis, Porches, you get the idea. So I figured I would try them. I called to make an appointment and was told that Daryl would need to see my car in order to give me an accurate estimate. No problem, I could stop by on my way home from work. I stopped by and met with Daryl and his team. Daryl looked over every inch of my car, pointing out the various issues with the finish and explaining what would need to be done to correct them and what could not be corrected. We agreed on a price and I made the appointment. The day came and I dropped off my car. The shocker came when I went to pick it up. When I arrived to pick up my car I was at how fantastic it looked, the best it has been since it came off the showroom floor (minus a little normal wear and tear). Along with my car waiting to be picked up there were several other cars that were awaiting pick up. All on the high end side, all beautifully done, gleaming in the sunshine. Before I even completely inspected my car I knew I had found the one. Upon inspection, I could not find one fault in the detailing, not one. I decided immediately to make an appointment for my other car. As that only needed outside work, Daryl let me bring it in the next day. Again when I went to pick that one up I was more than pleasantly surprised. Another beautiful job. The car looked radiant. And again, another lot of high end vehicles finished, in the process of being done, all just gorgeous. It took Daryl and his team a few hours what I could only hope to come close to after two days. Since then I have decided to retire my buffers, polishes and cans of wax and leave the exterior maintenance of my car to Daryl and his team at "The Best Auto Detailing". They really are. read more

I recently bought a 2015 Toyota Corolla and it had such a terrible cigarette smell from the previous owner that I complained to the car dealership. They tried twice to get the smell out by using the ozium machine,but the smell was still there. I got tired of the run around and I was looking for a car detailer online. After calling a couple where no one wanted to touch the car, I came across The Best Auto Detailing and let me just say these guys know how to clean the inside and outside of a car and make it smell and look better than any new car I have ever bought. Darryl and his crew all deserve 5 STARS, I'm extremely happy with the detailing that I had done. I recently purchased a black Z71 Silverado. The previous owner decided to get the newer 2019 Silverado and traded it back in and it had some scratches on the paint along with a dent I needed to get removed. I went over everything with Darryl and he let me know what he would be able to do. Dropped off my truck in the morning and picked it up later that day. The level of work that was done exceeded my expectations I was so happy to see all the scratches and the dent no longer there. The imperfections finally gone and the paint brought back to a factory finish. It's been almost 2 months since I had the detailing done and it still looks amazing. A little over a week ago I had a real dilemma: I had agreed to drive some friends to an event in a few days---but the interior of my car was a mess! It was covered with hair --thanks to my beloved long-haired Sheltie- mix named Lucy. It had also suffered from not having a really good interior cleaning in over 2 years. Came across this spot while in downtown Asbury for lunch. A local construction project where I parked left my car covered in white concrete powder. After a panicked search on the internet for a pure handwash in the area, I was lucky enough to come across this gem! I was greeted by the owner Darryl who was super friendly, welcoming and professional. The gentlemen who assisted Darryl in washing my car explained step by step what type of product he was using on my car and why. Needless to say my car came out perfect. Darryl delivered exactly what he promised when we left the vehicle with him overnight. My wife had spilled a full quart of takeout chicken noodle soup on the passenger seat. We tried to have it cleaned at another establishment, but they just did a quickie job that left her unsatisfied and the smell of the soup lingering in the vehicle. Darryl asked if he could keep the vehicle overnight, as we had come to him later in the day and he was concerned about returning the vehicle to us with a wet seat. The quoted price was so reasonable, I thought we might have to temper our expectations, but that was not the case. The seat and floor underneath were completely cleaned and the smell was gone. I had an assigned parking spot for a time right under a tree. My white car got covered in black tree sap. It looked like black mold was growing on it. No amount of washes cleaned it. Then I brought her to see Darryl. What an outstanding job he did! It looks better than the day I picked her up from the dealer. Every nook and cranny was cleaned. Not a single speck of dust inside. Brought my black Honda Accord to The Best to be detailed. I must say when I picked the car up I was very pleasantly surprised! It looked like my car had been painted! I certainly didn't pay for a paint job! It shined so much that you could have used it as a mirror! I had a white mark on the bumper and that is completely gone! I brought my car to darryl with a few concerns and wanted to see what he could do. Not only did he do a great job, he fully exceeded my expectations. I have a black genesis and like any black car it had swirls and scratches everywhere. Add some over spray from a recent touch up job and it didn't look very good. The guys did a great job on my 1999 Mercedes. I had never had a car detailed as I have always done it myself in the past. My SIL recently had the exterior of her car done and I was very impressed. I asked Darryl to do both the interior and exterior. I can honestly say the car has never looked this good before. It looks just as good if not better than we bought it from the dealer in 2008. Just picked up my car after detailing. It looks like new. I provided some touch up paint and all the scratches were gone including some tough spots that I was not expecting to be removed.
