I've been coming here for about two years now, and everyone has always been so friendly and nice. The massage therapists are very professional and always know exactly how to work out the soreness and tension in my neck and shoulders. They're also great about adjusting the pressure to whatever feels comfortable for you. The music is really soothing too, so the whole experience is always super relaxing. Paid $90 for a one hour Swedish massage plus 30 minutes reflexology. I had added aromatherapy and basically was drenched in lavender essential oil. It was even spilled onto the table by my leg. The massage person did not even touch my neck, my lower back or my feet at all. When I asked about it they said they had another appointment waiting and didn't have time. If you're looking for just a relaxing massage this is not the place to go. We had bruising just 3 hours after our couples massage. The pressure is very intense. I asked for soft and I was still in a lot of pain during the whole thing. The man massaging me had a 15 second song playing on his phone on repeat the entire time it was annoying and not very professional. Relaxing spa music on a small speaker would be much more inviting. the good: The hot stones were nice and they were good about keeping us covered with the towels. I just walked in for a much needed massage at The Best Massage in Downtown Auburn. It was my first visit here and they were polite, and prompt and I was able to get a full body massage without waiting. The room was clean and quiet, my masseur provided a very professional and thorough service, with appropriate pressure throughout. They utilize hot stones as well which was a nice touch. He addressed my many knots and tension points, and I left feeling relaxed with no pain from the little boulders I usually carry in my neck and shoulders. I've been to almost every one of the local reflexology joints in town, and this is the best. The one hour private and couples massages are also reasonably priced and great massages. They have plenty of parking, most speak pretty good English and excellent prices. They don't include feet on the full body massages but so use hot stones at. I extra charge. It's $40 for the reflexology and $60 for full body. I don't recall the couples pricing. They do charge and extra $1.50 for use of credit/debit cards and prefer cash for tip. read more

First of all the massage was adequate but my wife and I always tip $20 as we understand thats the way they earn their money. So for my birthday my wife went in and wanted a gift card for an hour massage and a $20 tip. The lady said it would be $80. Ok my wife pays gets the card everything is good. I go in to redeem my card and tell the lady I want an hour massage and the balance of the gift card goes to the misuses. I got the massage and go to leave and the receptionist says " you going to leave tip?" I replied that the balance of the card was to go for the woman who gave the massage. She says "no we dont do that". So we talked about that for awhile which eliminated any question of misunderstanding my wife or what I had told her when I arrived. So she finally conceded and offered me a $20 discount on my next visit. Ha ... like that will happen. My suggestion is watch for this place. I got a knee injury from a bad massage here which caused me to miss work and is lawsuit worthy. I question if he's even licensed as he went outside of his scope of practice as massage therapist. During the massage, he lifted my leg, and quickly turned my foot all the way to the right (parallel with the table) then quickly turned it 180 degrees to the left so it was parallel with the table. At first, nothing popped, it just felt weird and like it went further than it was supposed to. I think he heard my discomfort because he didn't do that to the other leg. After that, my knee felt out of alignment, started painfully popping and caused me to almost fall several times when it gave way. I couldn't kneel without it feeling like the fascia was going to rip. I was told by a physical therapist that it was probably a torn ligament or torn meniscus. This happened 4 weeks ago and while I'm somewhat better, lm still not 100% and I still can't run anymore. Had to miss work because of this too, which causes financial stress, and now I can't work out to alleviate that stress. His mistake is a total disruption to my life. In addition, I also got burned from the hot stones. This injury would have been avoidable if he had stayed within his scope of practice. They are all very nice there, but an injury is not okay. Most of them struggle with speaking English, so communication is difficult. I feel bad leaving such a terrible review, but I'm just speaking the truth and I'd hate for it to happen to somebody else. read more

THE BEST ASIAN MASSAGE I'VE EVER HAD, and I've had well over 100. I walked in with no reservation at about 6pm. Lilly, (the proprietor?) said she would be my therapist. I explained to her my issues (rib injury and hamstring) and ... wow. At first, she started gently, working through the blanket, but it was effective. Then she removed the blanket and used oil. A weird place. had to wait 10 minutes for a female masseuse; when I walked back I literally saw 3 female massage therapists that seemed to be free, not sure what that was about. the massage was descent, the lady was very nice, kept professional, even if the male walking by was unprofessional talking through the walls in mandarin. When it was done, had 3 people waiting up front as though to intimidate me? when I tipped the masseuse they all promptly left. Great massages, but be prepared to be badgered for a larger tip. In January and in August we offered a 20% tip and both times they said, "only $10"? It's rude to criticize a 20% tip. A no frills massage and hidden gem. A 60-min foot massage, while in a large room with other beds, gets you not only the foot massage as implied but a back, shoulder, arm and head massage too. Then they Stole my water bucket as if they were out and had to use it for someone els right when my massages started 4mins in and left my feet in the cold . Great place! Charles gives me the best chair massages....very strong, to release muscle knots and trigger points which is what I need to survive my computer/mouse-typing job.
