Half order of biscuits and gravy
    C Daniel C.

What a great little breakfast spot! Had driven by several times and thought it would be good to try. Since it was a little short on time I sat at the counter and was created promptly and with a smile. As I sat down I noticed the gentleman next to me had ordered a meal with a biscuit and gravy. It was huge. I originally thought I would get a full order of biscuits and gravy but went with a half order. It came with hash browns and was plenty of food for me. The biscuit was fluffy and the gravy was just right. This is a place I will go to again so I can see how the rest of the breakfast menu is.

Great breakfast. I would recommend this restaurant. We are repeat customers. Always enjoy the food. Waffles are light & fluffy and served hot. Chicken has spicy, crunchy, and served hot. Spice was dry and not like the sauce on a typical Memphis hot chicken dish. The hash was flavorful, served hot, quick & friendly service. Great waitress. Will come back again. Thank you!

Omg!! First time here and hooked! The vanilla cherry Dr Pepper was SSOOOO good! Their sausage gravy was a great flavor or sausage and not too thick! The country fried steak was a huge portion snd so moist even without the gravy but a great crisp on the outside. Home style potatoes was plentiful and flavorful! The chicken and waffle was a great flavor and I can see how they are a pair, never really tried before and looked into it but now I see why its popular!! The waffle had a nice outter crisp and i was able to taste the waffle flavor! The biscuit was so soft and airy... very light. Will be back!! Thank you

Decided to try the new neighborhood breakfast place and ordered for pick up. My partner picked it up and noticed it was pretty packed inside. Once he arrived home, we opened the boxes and his meal was perfect, my meal on the other hand was not. I ordered over easy eggs but got scrambled, I also ordered sausage patties but got bacon. The waffle I order was soggy, which is to be expected with take out but it was definitely disappointing because who wants a soggy waffle? The has browns were not cooked to my liking, very soft and not much crunch to it and not much flavor. All in all, for me, disappointing but still might try again to see if my experience was a one off.

Came on a Saturday @11:15 there was a 25 minute wait once we got seated our waitress Emily didn't take long to greet us ,she was very nice and answered the questions we asked. This is my second time here I got the ranchero omelet wish there was more steak but it was yummy and the biscuit was soft on the inside. It does seem they only have sausage gravy and not gravy just by itself. I didn't have any complaints ,the voice volume was moderate to loud but I heard my own conversation and I also found out they only have deli Turkey.

Went to the big biscuit this morning. It was quite business but they did a good job of getting people in. I think they might have been short handed but I didn't get any kind of feeling like they were upset they were just interested in taking care of their customers the best they could. I got a southern fried chicken with eggs. The eggs were done just like I asked. The home potatoes were very good and didn't need ketchup because they were already seasoned nicely. My gripe with my meal was actually the gravy on my chicken. It was super salty. It wasn't un edible but I scrapped a lot of it off. Overall nice job and I will go back again and try something else as well. Maybe this time something without the gravy.

The ambiance was great as well as the service. This place was packed so there was a slight wait (no biggie) but the food was only ok. You get massive amounts, but there was no flavor to speak of. We will give it another shot on the assumption they were having an off day. :)

No wait at the door and we expected to wait a little so that was a surprise. Packed house and warm atmosphere. Drinks are wonderful full of flavor. Sticky biscuit is on point. Biscuit and gravy and Laredo bowl for the win. We will definitely be back. Come Hungry leave happy Fran was awesome and helpful!

My first time at The Big Biscuit, and I was very impressed. Nice clean establishment with super friendly staff. We had the absolute BEST waitress ever, Destiny! She was warm and inviting. She even recommended entrees according to our preferences. I had the cinnamon roll pancake platter. And OMG, it was delicious. Light fluffy pancakes with cinnamon swirled throughout it, and drizzled with icing....tasted just like a cinnamon roll! I'll definitely be back and request to sit in Destiny's area. Five star service!

So the daughter and I headed on over to see if its still as good as I remember. Crab cake appetizer. You only get 1 but it had some great flavor with the remoulade sauce. The only negative was the tiny pieced shell in the crab cake. Unfortunately thats almost a given for fresh pulled crab meat. Farm salad was very fresh and had a great dressing. I believe it was a white balsamic vinaigrette. I ordered the ribeye,With garlicky spinach. The steak had great flavor. I wish it would have been more tender. But overall, the cut of steak was really good. My daughter ordered the New York strip with fingerling potatoes. The way she demolished that steak tells me that she was hungry and that it was delicious. Naturally, we ordered the whiskey cake for dessert and it did not disappoint. It was everything I remembered. From the spiced pecans to the bourbon cream sauce. I hope to stop by before I leave town and get another one for the road!

Their menu has some core offerings that don't really change, along with other items which are seasonal based on whatever ingredients are available locally. Most things served in the restaurant are made in-house from scratch and those ingredients are sourced locally in Oklahoma which I find to be pretty awesome! Their burgers are delicious, so its extremely hard for me to come here and order something other than that, but I have still been impressed when I have ordered other types of entrees. Lastly, you have to try their whiskey cake at LEAST once. I'm weird about my desserts and only eat one type of cake, one type of pie, one type of ice cream, etc... well, I have make an exception for cake. The only type of cake I eat is regular white cake w/ buttercream icing, but I had to create a lone exception for Whiskey Cake's whiskey cake.

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. We brought a business guest here for a meeting, and unfortunately the experience started on a disappointing note. When we ordered drinks, we were told several items listed on the menu were unavailable. While shortages happen, it immediately left the impression that things were not running smoothly. We began with the blue cheese chips, a dish the restaurant has long been known for. To our surprise, they arrived completely cold, as though they had just come out of the refrigerator. Our guest didn't even touch them. I then ordered the halibut, which had previously been one of my favorite entrées. This time, the fish was rubbery and overcooked, and the shrimp risotto was dry with virtually no broth or sauce to bring the dish together. Overall, the entire experience felt lackluster and disappointing. More than anything, I was embarrassed that we had chosen this restaurant to host an important business guest. It's unfortunate to see a place that once felt so special fall so far short of expectations.
