Do not let the outside of this little place scare you! The inside is nothing special, however I could definitely tell it was a sense of home to some. We're in town for my wife's training and saw the reviews and I was curious to try this hidden gem out. The grilled chicken sandwich was so good! I got a side of ranch and buffalo sauce to dip in and for my side had a salad. My wife got the same thing but got tater tot's for her side and she loved them. The chicken was perfectly cooked, so juicy and seasoned well. I had to take my meal for leftovers and chicken sandwich was still juicy the next day! The service was amazing we had one waitress take care of us however all the waitresses helped each other making sure all customers were satisfied. They were all humble, sweet and were even joking around. Definitely will be saving this place and be coming back when we are in town! read more

Food is always great the cook must be a master chef or something because I've eaten at high dollar restaurants that were not as good as this. The mark of a good breakfast place is how they do their hash browns. This place nailed it! Crispy on both sides. Nice fluffy biscuits, flavorful gravy. Also tried a roast turkey panini. We came here because a restaurant down the street that we wanted to go to was closed. This diner was nice. They were playing come classic country music which I really liked. The service was a little slow being that they're were only a few tables filled, but it wasn't too bad. The fries and my burger were pretty over salted, but still edible and fairly tasty. Well our first time going to Pickles Express was not up to expectations. We had heard how great the fried pickles were and love that they were pickle spears! We also ordered a BLT. When we got back to work with our TO-GO order since we only have 1/2 hr for lunch we found that instead of pickle spears they were pickle chips and definitely not home made, regular pre frozen chips! Also on opening the BLT sandwich we found it only contained bread and about 4 strips of bacon. Not sure but that would be a bacon sandwich not a Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato sandwich. As for the price, we paid over $30 for 2 orders of pickle chips and a "BLT". Not cheap by most standards when their listing shows only $ The restaurant didn't seem busy when my coworker picked up the order. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day but not what we were expecting out of our first and maybe last time eating there. Hopefully the owner will have a good explanation and offer to make right on this. If so review will be updated. read more

Great service and good food. Kendi, Raechell and Heather have made it easy to go there almost daily for lunch during the week. They have so many regular customers that they know by name. They know what I like to eat and drink. Sadly, I am leaving a job that is just down the street and will not be having lunch nearly as often with them. Daily specials must be good. Breakfast is great until 11am during the week from open to close on Saturday. I prefer their salads, gyros, burgers, catfish and chicken strip dinners.
