We rented two unusual bikes: 1) Adult bike with a trailing kid bike. 2) Adult bike with a kiddie trailer. Our toddler loved sitting in the trailer, strapped in, saying "Whee" all around town (she's 1). Our 5 year old, who is an avid biker, felt safer attached to mom or me, and we felt better not having her run circles around us and in traffic. We took the tandem onto the beach at low tide and it was surprisingly easy to ride for miles. I hadn't ridden a bike for almost a decade, but we jumped at the opportunity every day and Two Brothers gave us a couple of free days thanks to our rental return date being Thanksgiving. I was told 2-3 days when I dropped off my bike. 7 days later he hasn't even looked at it because he is under staffed and over worked. He made sure to inform me that he has no way to let me know how long it would take. I asked where I was in line to which he said it would take him 15 min to find out and that the problem with getting to my bike was being on the phone with me. Someone anyone open a different bike repair shop in Statesboro. Bumped it up to 3stars from 1star. After my call and original review Billy went ahead and fixed my bike. His communication is not the best but he does the work.

I crossed over Waters while vehicles were stopped in line to cross Eisenhower after the light turned green. Well a frantic lady in a Honda Accord went in to the oncoming lane racing to catch a green left turn on to Eisenhower light and suddenly BAM! I am now sitting on her roof with my feet still locked to my pedals and my Cannondale Road Bike up there with me. As I stared at my bent front forks and front wheel laying 50 feet in front of me with two VHS Tapes strawn on the road as well, I hopped off the ladies roof and she was very upset that she'd hit me. I assured her that I was fine but the Bicycle Shop I bought my bike from was just down the road. So she and I put all my stuff in her Accord, dropped the VHS's off and drove to Star. The Staff added a bit of pain and suffering to the quote, the lady paid the bill and I came out with one or two items extra once the repairs were done. I'll never buy from anyone else and I'm now a 61 year old man and this story occurred in 1987.

The bikes are really good quality. Nice condition, good colors and paint, no rust and functional with no issues. I requested an extra lock because we sometimes we use them separately verses riding together- and you want to keep them secure all the time ! They use Cloud 9 seats- big and comfortable- perfect for those long adventures on the bike trails all over the island. I did interact with customer service they were super friendly and helpful. I would say HHBC is one of the best bike rental companies on the island and we have been coming here 39 years. I would not hesitate to use them again they are excellent- give them a try next time and check to see about any discounts.
