The staff are constantly apologizing for him "he's our medical director" "he's the doctor" meanwhile he will barge in while you are naked and completely BOTCH TREATMENTS, multiple times. Come here if you want to waste time and money having a beauty treatment ruined by a sloppy, negligent, unprofessional and bumbling man while the female team around him follow his absurd directives in rote lockstep and are unable to finish your treatment because Brian Stolley is so clueless and sloppy. Do not come here if you are seeking competence. Brian Stolley forced me to lie naked on the treatment table with just a small paper towel sized mat covering me while he haphazardly lasered parts of my body that had nothing to do with my treatment area. When I protested because I was uncomfortable with him being in the room while I was naked, he cancelled my treatment and said he was just going to test laser settings on all these different parts of my body. He will pretend to see things or not see things on your skin to gaslight you when you notice his erratic carelessness. The staff pretend they do this "for your safety." This place is a joke. If MediSpa Maui truly cared about safety or consent, they could simply hire competent practitioners who are diligent, skilled, well-trained and good at their jobs. You don't need some idiot "medical director" barging in pretending to oversee treatment of naked women to ensure medical safety. Hire competent staff and trust them to do their jobs. Stop violating people's boundaries, it's creepy and unprofessional bordering medical misconduct. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go anywhere else, this place sucks.

I became pregnant half way through my Elite weight loss package and they refused to prorate or refund unused visits and treatments. From a consumers perspective, I paid for something and didn't get what I paid for. I understand the packages are discounted and the individual cost of the treatments are more - but I would never pay for the individual cost of the treatments in the first place. That's why I chose a package! It was disappointing after having had a pleasant first impression. I don't expect for many other clients to get pregnant during their program, so other experiences will be different I'm sure. From my end though, it was bad business and made me feel icky. I wish they had a way to meet me half way. As it stands, I will have to wait till after the baby is born and I'm done breastfeeding to finish out the remaining visits and treatments. So that will be an uncomfortable visit in about a year. For others looking to do a package, just don't get pregnant! Also, keep track of your treatments and visits and do your due diligence. Dr Ivey emailed back and he was super nice, understood the procedure I needed after MOHS, and was friendly, however he has just stopped accepting HMSA. Pity as I was excited after seeing photos of his before and after work. If I have any need for cosmetic surgery instead of reconstructive I will definitely contact Dr Ivey, he is fast to communicate and knowledgeable.
