Being located in downtown C-sted, parking may be a little tricky. But being in the hotel, its a very visible location. We ordered take out for lunch that day. To call in for takeout, you have to call the hotel that redirects you to the restaurant. That took couple tries for us because of the restaurant not picking up the call first time. We ordered various sandwiches - the Chicken in biscuit sandwich, the chicken blt sliders, a regular BLT and a savory crepe. The food was ready in the time they stated and stayed warm for the 15 min drive back to our rental. The savory crepe met the standards of a crepe but the chicken filling was just okay. The blt sliders and chicken biscuit were the favorites though and were thoroughly enjoyed. The BLT too was full of bacon and decent tomatoes. Overall a win for us. read more

I was staying at the King Christian hotel and this restaurant is next to the lobby. I would have loved to be able to charge any of the restaurants to my room, but maybe in the future. Their fresh squeezed orange juice was so refreshing! And I had an excellent breakfast burrito with the exact right size of potatoes. Coming from LA, I thought prices were cheap for how delicious the food was, but I think it might be on the expensive side for the island. Super friendly server, and I loved the cute wallpaper! Decided to visit Caroline's before my flight back home. This is such a pretty spot. The gold utensils, pink dishware, pink seating was VERY nice and comfy. Mixed Crepes- Very fruity with fresh fruits stuffed inside the crepes topped with a nice blueberry sauce. Eggs- Added my own salt & pepper. Italian Sausage- A little salty. Coffee- Had a little sweet taste that I didn't like so I ordered a cappuccino which was sooooo much better for me. I added two packets of sugar. Orange Juice- GREAT, FRESH and it was NOT sweet. I ordered the basic American breakfast of scrambled eggs with sausage and toast and added the side of biscuits with whipped honey butter. The breakfast was as expected with the eggs cooked perfectly and the sausage patties flavorful and lightly seasoned. They give you the option to have a side of either potatoes or fruit with the American breakfast and I chose the fruit. It was fresh. My friend had scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and she said the bacon was cooked until crispy. The disappointment came with the biscuits. They LOOKED amazing, but were not good. They were dense and dry. The taste was very sour and the honey butter didn't help compensate. I was looking forward to them so was pretty sad they were a let down. This place is somewhat pricey for breakfast, but worth it for the quality (besides the biscuits). read more

COMPLETELY ignore my first review!! Wow! Talk about a 180 degree turn and then you have this restaurant! My brother and sister-in-law had eaten there lately. We just arrived back on our island home a week ago. We come every year for at least three months so it's been months since we last tried it. The service was great (thank you Ben!) and the food was amazing. We started with a latte and they were so good! All of us got the Savory Crepe with chicken, mushrooms and gravy in a delicate crepe. It was like eating your Grandmother's chicken pot pie-only lighter. We also got the blueberry pancakes for the table to share and there was not a crumb left. I stopped by this breakfast spot while visiting the area and ordered the Banana Foster Pancakes and an iced vanilla latte. The pancakes were the clear highlight--fluffy, warm, and full of flavor. I got the banana foster topping on the side, and it was so good. You get five pancakes, so it's a generous portion too. Highly recommend them! As for the iced vanilla latte, it was better than the caramel one my friends ordered (which they weren't fans of), but still just okay overall. Not terrible, just not memorable--which seemed to be a running theme with coffee on this trip. If you're coming here, definitely go for the pancakes--they're worth it. The coffee? I got the goat cheese and pear toast (was the same price as the omelettes and crepes) and was very disappointed. Took forever to get food, waiter was awful...confused orders, had to track him down for coffee, was suppose to bring crepes, brought pancakes, was suppose to bring syrup, gave it to our neighbors even though they already had some. Coffee spilt on the table as it was not stable, never offered to clean it up. Was giving the "I'm going to talk to the kitchen staff today" blame game. We travel to St.Croix frequently for many yrs. So we will like to revisit some of our favorite spots to eat while on island. This being one of them but things changed. Well like a lot of new businesses the first year they shine. Once a customer base is established they get comfortable and so does the staff. We ate there 4 out of the 6 mornings during our stay. Some staff were very rude and really had no desire to be there working. When one of your staff is wearing slippers you know management isn't working. Food was decent 2 out of 4 days but orders weren't correct 3 out of 4. Maybe management should be fired since this is a reflection on them. One word of advice.. when your staff is cleaning tables have them remove everything before spraying cleaner. Wet sugar packets soaked with cleaner isn't a good thing. read more

Let's just say don't waste your time...because mines was wasted. If I could post this with ZERO stars I would. Waited over 30 minutes to be seated, then another 15 minutes to place our orders. For our food to NEVER REACH. We were seated with another table at the same time. They got their food and we NEVER got ours. I'll assume the waitress for the other table may have seen my frustrated, hungry face and she inquired about our food. She then comes back maybe 15 minutes after seeing my face and said...your waitress would like to know if you received your food . We left and we won't be returning. To start we had beignets, they looked lovely, they were raw. The macchiato was the size of an espresso, very bitter. Switched it up to the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte after trying my husbands. We ordered the banana foster French toast and crepes. The crepes were cold and the bananas were not flambéed, they were barely cooked. The bananas on my husbands French toast were the same. My husbands French toast looked good but it was bland. I also ordered the hibiscus yogurt parfait. It looked pretty however, they used strawberries under the granola that were in a watery sauce. (Looked like frozen thawed out strawberries with all the water) I had to pour it off the yogurt. It was not very edible. Not worth the time and money for a breakfast. read more

We went here for breakfast on our last day in St Croix. It's a busy place over there was a little bit of a wait but we put our names in and there was only two of us so it wasn't too long. We both got mimosas and the breakfast was great, I had the hashbrowns which were delicious, I hate to say but probably the best I've ever had I don't know why the butter or seasoning not sure. I had the classic eggs Benedict which came out with prosciutto instead of a Canadian bacon, but was very good. My wife got a Denver omelette which was also delicious and we both had no problems finishing off our breakfast. The service was great but we were lucky enough to sit at the two seats at the bar/Service area by the door which got us seated quicker. The building is very old and has been refurbished so everything is very nice I would definitely go back and wish we would've gone there earlier in the week. It is located right at the docks so great place to walk around before or after your meal. read more

My wife and I tried Caroline's for the first time last week. I had an egg omelet with mushroom and my wife had the breakfast sandwich, great food and service. There aren't many breakfast spots on the island but this one tops them all Right in the boardwalk area connected to Kings Hotel you'll find it . I ordered a bloody mary and the pepper was WWHHHOOOO, thought I was drinking pepper spray, you'll know what I mean if you'd ever been pepper sprayed or in my case, around people that get... pepper sprayed. The bartender agreed the ( Fresh Pre Made Mix) was over the top and and offered to change my drink , but I was up for the challenge with a cup of lemon juice brought by our server...it was a wrap, I finished it. I'm so glad I found this cute restaurant when I was in St. Croix this past weekend! I went for breakfast on my last day there and was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar because they were on a two hour wait! I ordered the pancake breakfast with bacon and it was good! They give you three huge pancakes that are definitely filling and I could only finish two of them. My favorite part of this place was the ambiance. I was in town for vacation and only limited restaurants are open. Caroline's is along the pier. When they ask if you want water please specify tap or bottle. They gave us bottle water by default that they did not refill and charged $2 per person. I had the crab cake Benedict which was delicious with the best hollandaise sauce. I have been on a business trip to 3 islands with my husband this last week. St. Croix was our last stop and I had not had a noteworthy meal at either of the previous islands we visited. But breakfast at Caroline's was exceptional and will be something I crave when we go back home. We came back 3 times! Caroline's scramble was so good, and the meal came with a fresh salad and fruit. We couldn't help but try the salted pretzel cinnamon roll and it was like we died and went to heaven. Not only was the food fresh and so delicious, but the service every day was exceptional. I didn't get the gentleman's name who served us on our first visit, but along with Lynel and Nickie on the subsequent visits the staff was knowledgable, friendly and hard working. The decor is beautiful if you sit inside and outside you have a beautiful view. You will regret it if you make a trip to St. Croix and don't enjoy this jewel! read more

This place was so cute with it's pink decor. The food was DELICIOUS!! I had a craving for pancakes which is super weird for me. I got the traditional pancakes and a side of bacon. The bacon was perfection! My husband had chicken and waffles and his plate had no leftovers to take home. I had a regular mimosa and my husband had the special (pineapple kiwi) and they were both yum. Our wait person was so polite and attentive. Holy smokes! This little breakfast shop is just the cutest little place I've seen. Everything is so vibrant and fun and everything is pink! the breakfast is stellar by itself but if you don't mind a little day drinking they have some of the tastiest drinks we've had at a restaurant open before 3. The customer service was great (we had Jess and Jared) the two times we were able to visit. My only regret is I never got to try the lunch menu, that looks just as good don't miss out on this spot if you visit st croix!! read more
