I think I can honestly say that I've been a customer of Lauren longer than anybody. I met her when she was working in a Montecito barber shop making a decision whether or not to go to barber college. That was probably a dozen years ago, which doesn't make sense because she looks like she can't be older than 24. I am SO, SO,SO glad she took the plunge. She is not only the best barber I have ever had but she's one of the nicest people I have ever met. I followed her to the shop on State Street and now to Chandler Salon on Chapala street. Would I recommend her? Yes of course I would, in fact I have several times and always had the OMG!!!! She's AMAZING reaction. I might add that beyond a great hair cut she does a very awesome straight razor shave. Btw do you know why barber poles have that red spiral going down them, oh never mind I'm getting off subject. If you live in Santa Barbara and aren't getting your hair and beard done by Lauren, you are missing out and taking unnecessary risk. Lauren is always super friendly and interested in "what the plan is" when I sit down in her chair. She really takes the time to listen to what I envision for both my hair and beard. I have changed styles quite a bit over the past two years and Lauren has always taken the time to understand what I am thinking and I have always been more than happy with the result. I have recommended her to everyone one of my friends, the ones that have gone to see her continue to go back to her. I have no problem telling anyone that asks, "Lauren is awesome!
