That's always a plus when you're dealing with medical appointments as we all know!! The girls behind the counter at Mission Lab Express are skilled at taking blood. The fact that it never hurts when they do it is definitely a testament to their expertise. By 9:45 Dr. Barham had ground down part of the tooth, and bonded a replacement wedge to the tooth, and I was walking out the door! The staff were all pleasant and helpful, and Dr. Barham even gave me his cell phone number and told me if I was in the area again and needed help on the weekends, to give him a call. I would have an app't for 9 am and he would not arrive at the office until close to 11. No reason, no apology but it was a biff bam thank you mam type of experience. Not really paying attention to anything on my body unless I pointed it out and I have had many melanomas. My last melanoma was treated by him. I questioned, in my mind, how he removed it but thought he knew best. I stopped going to him due to his rush in and out type of visit in 2020. Last week, 3 1/2 years later I found out I still have the melanoma that he was supposed to have removed and now I have to have surgery again. Would not go to him with anything serious.

When this PA called me back, I was told ask my primary care or my OB/GYN for further treatment options. she proceeded to tell my to stop taking a medication that I wasn't taking at all and then talked about my diagnosis which was also wrong. it was so obvious to me that she had not even read my chart before she called! I absolutely do NOT feel confident that my osteoporosis would be treated properly with this approach. Could it be a cutback of Medicare patients??

From check-in, to initial patient prep, physician treatment, nurse follow-up and check out. Everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs! I'm prone to skin cancers and have had them removed including some requiring Mohs procedures. These require complex reconstruction techniques as well as careful thoroughness. The only negative (why this gets 4 stars instead of 5) is that I had a bit of a wait for my turn. My MRI appointment was at 1pm, and I left around 2:30. The MRI itself only took about 20-25 minutes, so the majority of that time was me waiting. Not a big deal, but when my nerves were already so high, I would have appreciated being able to get it over with vs waiting. All in all though, I totally recommend Open MRI; everyone was professional and the price was great.
