Everyone is friendly and they have gone out of their way to help me on more than one occasion when the prescription has been questioned or my insurance was not able to cover certain medications. When I am later than usual to pick up my prescriptions they give me a courtesy call, which is always appreciated. I have often remarked to them how much I value their kindness, knowledge and courteous help. I have tried many pharmacies in this area and Walmart store #300 has spoiled me. My father was here for multiple weeks and the level of care was excellent. As soon as the call button was pressed someone came to see what was needed. It was often a volunteer and if he needed something that needed to be done by the medical staff the volunteer would get them within minutes.

Horror Stories Of The E.R. !!!! My Mother was hurting…read moreseverely in her abdominal area. Abbeville E.R. was the closest hospital. The receptionist was great. We were rushed back immediately. Things took a turn for the worst after that. Our nurse was named Erin but a woman named Shannon B. kept popping her head in. When receiving pain medication, she was very rude, making my Mother, who was in so much pain more agitated and nervous. She told my Mother pain meds weren't going to help. She told my Mother that no hospital would admit her. I was told that Shannon B. was very aggressive and has fought patients by a nurse who also worked there. Really?!? I would expect an E.R. nurse to expect people to be anxious and deal with a patient and their loved ones more professionally and patiently. I had my Mother transferred to AnMed E.R. She is now in the hospital after an emergency surgery. If I had stayed, my Mother injuries could have been far worse or she might have died!!! After speaking to several people, they have all reported problems with this hospital. One lady was having a stroke and now has no movement on her left side due to the negligence of this hospital, releasing her with pain medication. I do not recommend this hospital or the staff. Please go somewhere else unless it's a minor injury. Your loved ones life or yours may depend on it. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS HOSPITAL AGAIN!!! This is very sad to say but I would rather die at home than receive treatment from this "hospital". This is my honest review. Go at your own risk!!!!
