It finally arrived after the cold mushrooms were delivered. I'm so glad we tried both! The Crimson Mirage was beautiful, served in a dainty glass with a flower petal sugar rim, but the Clover Club stole the show with its silky egg white foam. We also ordered the focaccia bread and made the best decision of the night by saving a few pieces to dip into the spicy lobster bisque. Do not skip the bisque! It may be a small portion, but it's packed with flavor. And despite the name, it wasn't very spicy at all. I don't handle much heat, and it was perfectly mild. For dinner, we shared the surf and turf with lobster. Everything was excellent. I got to try the filet cooked medium-rare with the rich demi-glace, along with the mashed potatoes and asparagus, which were cooked perfectly. We also ordered the baked potato, and it's definitely large enough to share. Pro tip: use the leftover butter from the focaccia with the potato--it was delicious! We wanted dessert, but we were simply too full. That just gives us another reason to come back. We also learned they have a happy hour at the bar, which is now on our list. The atmosphere was one of our favorite parts. It's dark, cozy, and has a sophisticated lounge vibe.
