We have received incredible service in our three visits to The Blushing Bride. It took 2 visits for me to find a dress I loved, but our consultant, Lori, was not pushy and was very understanding and kind. I just finished my first alterations appointment and worked with Ingrid. She is clearly very skilled in her work and offered some really great suggestions on different ideas I had regarding my alterations. We also had them pleasure of speaking to Jenson, who may have been the owner/manager but I didn't get a chance to ask, and he was very accommodating, warm, and clearly cares about the brides who come in. So appreciative of everyone's efforts in making my wedding dress shopping experience as stress free and easy as possible. Because of a winter storm that shut down Texas we went to my daughter's rescheduled appointment this morning. The shop has street parking and at 10:00 am on a Monday we all easily found parking spots. This boutique has a nice setup. It's almost like being inside a beautiful home. Every member of the staff is cordial, friendly and kind. They don't use a pushy sales tactic to influence clients and do a great job of making the bride feel special and beautiful. They don't even deserve the 1 star honestly. This shop just emailed TODAY about a dress I bought 3 YEARS AGO asking me for money. Back story to this: 3 years ago I bought a dress from them and they told me I'd have to pay 75% of the dress now and then the other 25% when the dress arrived. Well during the time it took for the dress to ship, my fiancé and I of 6 years broke up and I was absolutely devastated. I tried to go up to the shop to ask for a PARTIAL refund because I no longer had a need for the dress and I'd rather the shop keep it and use it as a sample or something. The lady basically told me "tough luck" and did not offer me ANY solution other than pay the last 25% and take the dress (try and sell it on Facebook or something) or don't pay and don't take the dress. No compassion from the staff whatsoever. So I left and they never said another word to me until today trying to ask for the 25% again. I think it's extremely disgusting and tacky to try and grub for money for a transaction from 3 years ago from a bride you were so rude and heartless to. The audacity of this business and the behavior of their staff is appalling. They do not care about their customers at all My recommendation would be if you absolutely have to look at their dresses, take note of the designer and style and buy it from somewhere else. We found the dress online through a verified WONA Couture vendor for a cheaper price; and while Blushing Bride was not able to price match, they made no fuss about the bride ordering from another site since it was a better deal. I unfortunately would not recommend this place to family or friends. The area is currently under construction so we had to enter through the back which was no problem as they informed me of this before the appointment. When I walked in I was taken back to a space with my 2 guests and told to wait there for the consultant. The consultant greeted us and I told her what I was looking for. I had informed her that I had just went to another dress appointment and found something I liked but wanted to see what other options they had here. As soon as I mentioned another dress she seemed uninterested. I told her what i was looking for and she kind of blew it off and told me to just look around and pick what I thought would look good. I found one that was somewhat similar to what I wanted so I tried it on. It wasn't the dress for me so I asked her to pull some dresses that she thought would look good based on my preferences. I tried on 4 different dresses and I told her they weren't what I was looking for. Instead of asking what direction I wanted to go in she said "well do you want me to pull more dresses or do you just want to put your clothes back on and be done". At this point I was over it and I got dressed and left. Very disappointed. This was hands-down the BEST BRIDAL EXPERIENCE I received from the 15+ shops I visited across the country! Lori (my consultant) was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, funny and everything you can absolutely ask for when searching for your dream dress. The shop itself has an immensely diverse selection to fit almost every vision. Knowing that I had a very specific and unique vision in mind, I flew in from LA for only a few hours for their WONA/Eva collection. Lori understood the vision I had for both my ceremony/reception dresses and pulled amazing pieces; including the dress to beat! She knew I had two more shops to visit, including one that had a dress that checked all the boxes, and that did not change her service towards me. If anything, she was invested that I find my perfect dress and was checking in with me (like a friend) to see how my journey was going. While I did not get my dress here, our experience was just unbelievable; my friend and I will be coming back to shop for her gown. I am the bride and my consultant was very patient and sweet with me ! Everything else failed miserably! First when we walked in for our appt, there were multiple consultants standing there we stood in the doorway not sure where to go... after many snooty sideways glances finally someone told us the desk is in the back so we proceeded. We waited and wait and waited at the desk to let them know I was here for my appointment. Instead another young girl walked in after me and 2 staff immediately jumped on escorting her to the back and grabbing the schedule to set her up with her consultant, here I was still waiting with many uncomfortable stares. They finally assisted me by telling me to go back upfront my consulting will be with me soon. After about 10 min my consulting finally came introduced herself and we began. Again my consulting did great navigating my insecurities in dresses. While I was changing of course my mom and sister stood up and began looking at the dresses all around them in the front room. Of course your mom wants to look at the dresses... a staff member rushed over to inform them they were actually not allowed to touch or look at anything without a consultant with them. (Keep in mind consultant was in the room with me) Yet people from off the street were allowed to come in "just looking" and shop without supervision. The gentlemen that worked behind the desk offered and greeted everyone with drinks ... DELIVERED on trays to them! Didn't even speak to us or offer myself/family a thing. Their staff kept coming into the room where my family was seated waiting for me to come out and "forgetting" what they were looking for and leaving. Some would put a dress back then come move it or flip through other dresses and leave.... It honestly felt like they were just making up excuses to go see what my fam was up to. Very weird, hostile, unfriendly, judging, snooty ppl which put us in a real defensive mood. Also I asked them online via fb if they had a veil I screen shot years ago from their store. To which they told me yes it's a certain type of veil, gave me the name etc. I asked if it was a veil or a cape to which now the online person began asking me if it was a veil or cape. I wasn't sure how I was suppose to know their products... they are the ones posting it and selling it not me! Anyways wouldn't recommend this store if you are wanting this to be a special day... myself and my family all just felt unwelcome abs had a bad taste in my mouth. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!! Do not ignore the bad reviews this place has!!! NO PRIVACY WHEN CHANGING, rude customer service if u have a small "budget" or are a size 16+ AND they talk horrible about customers in the back, I could over hear them complaining about so many brides... completely unprofessional, toxic and unwelcoming environment. I tried to get that bridal boutique experience so I could get an idea of what type of dress looks good on me... this experience was AWFUL. First of all, my "stylist" would not leave the room when changing between dresses... the robe she gave me at the beginning was just an illusion to make me trust her I guess because as soon as she brought the dresses in she gave me no privacy whatsoever, titties out and all, she didn't even do or offer a quick turn-around-while-you-change situation. I can't forget how uncomfortable I was the whole time and after asking my friend who purchased her dress from here, she said that was not her experience at all? She had privacy the entire time... so do they just pick and choose who gets privacy and who doesn't?? I was never asked if I was ok with that or if I needed more privacy, I even tried to hold on to the dress (and the last bit of dignity I had) but she told me she "needed" the dress back before she could give me the other one to try on... She kept telling me my size was "too small" and the size bigger was "the right size" ... no small talk to be friendly just rushing me to get tf out of the store. I hope someone sees this and goes somewhere better or at most helps avoid the trauma I went through... A moment that was supposed to be special is now one I don't ever want to remember and now regret. Wedding dress shopping is supposed to be an exciting time where the bride feels beautiful in everything she wears & finally picks the one she falls in love with. Sadly from the moment we walked in, the service was terrible here. My best friend (the bride) set up an appointment to try on wedding dresses & this location requires credit card info because you get charged for not showing up or being late. Yet we were on time & her appointment was pushed, so we wasted precious time on waiting around for a consultant to be available to help us. The lady was very apologetic and sincere about us being patient and waiting. Finally, after a while of waiting we got Lori as the consultant. She proceeded to ask the bride about what type of style and budget she was looking for. Once she said her budget, Lori basically scoffed and said " well, then we have to go the clearance room" , which was extremely rude and unprofessional of her to do. My friend also tried describing the type of dress she was looking for & got some of the terminology wrong (understandable because she's a first time bride) but I guess that irritated our consultant to where she'd correct her rudely when the bride said something incorrectly. There was no connection or sincerity in the way she dealt with her. At one point, the bride found a dress she really liked, except one thing and asked if there was something closer to what she wanted, to which Lori said that they didn't have like that here but she was sure there was plenty we could find at other stores (tone of voice implying that we should leave and go look somewhere else). After a few dresses that the bride didn't like , she didn't seem to make any more extra effort to find something else that she would. & I wish I was over exaggerating but it was not only me, that felt that this lady was being extremely rude, but the whole bridal party who came to support our bride. Later, we heard from our bride herself, how upset & hurt she was about the experience there. & it is overwhelming to deal with this on top of all the other stress a bride has to go through. I'm not trashing the whole store, but all I'm saying is that, if you come here for dresses, ask for anyone but Lori if you want some kind of enjoyable experience. I could hear other consultants being amazing with their clients, so I know it's not everyone here. I've also seen the other reviews about Lori on here that are positive & I do understand that people go through things. But if that's the case, she SHOULD NOT have come to work at all, rather than taking it out on her customers, giving us an attitude, & basically telling us to go look somewhere else. I had a great experience here with Laura! I came in town to visit my family in January from Seattle and my Grandma made an appointment for me. I was not expecting to find my wedding dress here and hadn't tried on dresses anywhere else yet, but I felt so comfortable here with Laura and she really helped me find a dress that I truly felt great in! So I went to 4 bridal shops altogether; 2 on Friday and 2 on Saturday. This on was my last stop, and I was so excited because I thought I was saving the best for last. Our babysitter just got her dress from here and had great things to say. So I understand Saturday's are not the best days to book bc it's their busiest day, but I had a friend fly in from CA and those were the only days we could go. I will say the interior is very warm and welcoming, the dress selection is probably the largest I've seen in a boutique setting, and the lady who greeted us was very nice. The lady then told us our stylist would be right with us, our stylist was Lori. She initially was very polite but seemed annoyed because they couldn't figure out which room we were supposed to go in. She asked me the type of dress I was looking for, I had pictures from their website of dresses I wanted to try on. She asked budget, I told her under $1500 was ideal but there was some wiggle. So immediately she took us to the back room (clearance I believe, which was fine because I'm all about clearance) and she started pulling dresses. I already had a specific top in mind (sleeves with lace) and I had voiced I was probably going towards A line, but wasn't against a fit n flare. I kept mentioning some dresses I had seen in the hallways and also wanted to try on a few from the ones I initially saved from the website. She kept saying we'll get to those. She did pull 3 I really wanted to try on, and it just so happened we ended up with more fit n flare than A line. I think the most frustrating part was most of samples of the dresses I wanted to try on were 8 and under, and being a thicker girl I couldn't even try some on. Which was a major bummer.... the stores had 10-12 as samples. I kept feeling ugly in everything I put on, and she wasn't really helping in boosting my confidence or giving me other options. I felt rushed, and I felt every dress was a fit n flare and I just needed more time. It was my fault for not speaking up, but again it's the stylist job to read the client and listen and guide. She had her good moments and bad, but maybe she was just having a bad day and it was a Saturday. So I asked if I could come back to try more dresses on, and she helped me book an appointment. My next appointment was on a Tuesday and Hannah helped me. Hannah I felt listened to my wants more and she let me try on dresses I actually picked out and gave her opinion on others she didn't think I'd like, and also picked some that she thought I would like. I may have tried on 6-8 with her and I definitely liked more out of that bunch. She read my face and immediately knew when I disliked something. So in my own experience I recommend for all future brides to book on a weekday. read more

I wish I could write a good review. I was so excited for my first appointment to try on gowns for my wedding. Things I liked were... beautiful space, very pretty intricate gowns, good lighting...? I'm a new mom who is still breastfeeding so I have boobs that are on the larger side. I think we found two dresses that fit my boobs. So it was extremely hard to imagine what it would look like custom fit. I only had two requests, sleeves and no sequins. My consultant kept pulling dresses that were sleeveless, with sequins. Needless to say I had a pretty terrible first dress experience and I enjoyed the trainee that was helping us more than my consultant that seemed put off that I couldn't find anything I liked. Some of the dresses I liked and my mom I couldn't try on because - in her words "we have some other things that I think you'd like but we don't have your size". My maid of honor and mom were visiting for one weekend from California to go dress shopping with me, so I set up three back-to-back appointments. I thought I found "the one" at the first store, then went to the second store and found a dress I loved more than the first, but my shopping experience was terrible at that boutique (the store was incredibly crowded and my consultant was rude/unhelpful). I'm so happy I came here for my wedding dress! I never had any issues with appointment times or scheduling as read on some other reviews. The seamstress is also one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met and was patient with me and even let me come back a 4th time to show my MOH and mom how to get me into my dress (I had to go to my alteration appointments solo due to some out of towners). This boutique also sells bridesmaid and prom dresses if you're not in the market for a wedding gown. I tried other boutiques and one of the big name stores and couldn't find what I was looking for or the same level of service at them. When I first arrived I was paired with Natalie who I can't speak more highly of. She listened to what I was looking for in a dress and considered my budget when making selections. She picked out some pretty amazing gowns and she even picked out a few I never would have selected myself. I have a picky husband (fiancé at time) when it comes to fashion which made finding a dress hard for me. I had a terrible bridal gown appointment here. I felt like I was shopping at a Forever 21. First, they weren't ready at our appointment time so we waited in some kitchen area. Then they put us in a room where there were purses in the chair, and the lady said they had been there for a few hours so someone must've left them behind. A few moments later, a group of girls walks in giggling and then another bride with her consultant. I was not interested in being in a room with strangers for this occasion nor was I trying to talk over their loud conversations. So, we went back to the weird kitchen/waiting space. Our consultant came up to us, but I don't remember her name. She wasn't friendly so I guess her name wasn't worth remembering. She walked us up to the front of the boutique, another huge party in the room across from us, no privacy. She pulled 1 of the dresses I sent in, the rest she sent my Mom and I to the back room in a corner to pick from. When I inquired about samples I walked by, she acted inconvenienced. She showed me to the large dressing room, at that point I asked if my Mom could just sit in there. I didn't want to walk out, past two other rooms full of girls like I was at the mall. I'm a street size 12 and I didn't have many samples in my size, so my body was exposed....I am not interested in walking down a hallway or sharing a room with a group of women I don't know. The girl didn't give any feedback, make any suggestions, ask any questions...She made me feel so out of place and I couldn't wait to get out of there. I took my $5k budget and went elsewhere, I spent closer to $7k with my dress and accessories at another bridal boutique but it was worth it. If I wanted to feel like I was buying my wedding dress at the mall with a grumpy sales associate, that's where I would have gone. I wouldn't recommend this boutique to anyone. read more

This boutique is super cute! Shana is AMAZING! She made my experience flawless! I highly recommend this boutique if you're getting married and looking for a wedding dress! I only tried on 5 dresses before I found "THE ONE"! I saw on IG Shana had a designer coming from Israel and one of my friends was modeling her line of dresses. I was obsessed when I saw them and had to meet her & try one her dresses! Naama just happened to be here in Austin the weekend I made an appointment!!!!! I was so honored to meet her! I went in thinking I wanted lace and form fitting and came out with something completely opposite. I also thought I wanted something off the rack and didn't come out with that either. Morgan heard that I had an appointment at another boutique and wanted to see the dress that I like there. She pulled some things that were similar and I ended up going with a dress with straps and flowing. I also had my boots with me that I will be using for the wedding so I was able to pull the look all together. Everyone was so nice and helpful and making sure I got exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have asked for more. Now to wait until the dress comes in so I can see it again! read more

Where do i even begin?! This place is absolutely awesome! This is my second time writing a review for them because they are just THAT amazing. I love how tremendously organized they are and how caring they have been. Right from the beginning they make you feel like you and the dress are all in good hands. Mrs. Shana L., the owner of the boutique, is beyond amazing. She has consistently kept me up to date on my dress and when to expect alterations and scheduling for such. She has been so kind and patient answering all of my questions so promptly! Quick to respond to messages/calls and does not leave you wondering at all! I LOVE HER AND THIS BOUTIQUE! Hum. So disappointing. First I would like to say that when we first moved to Frisco my daughter was still in school and every time we would pass this boutique we always said- "one day". Well 6 yrs later, that one day came. We researched dresses, we researched their exclusive designers- so excited. We had a previous appointment with another boutique and had a wonderful experience but didn't find the dress. When we walked in, there was no greeting. Never asked what we were doing there or who was the bride. Finally my daughter flagged someone down and told them we had an appointment. We waited until another party was finished and was whisked away into a pretty dingy room with furniture that looked like it seen better days. I am not going to mention the young lady's name who worked with us because I just think she needs more customer service experience. Anyway - she took my daughter looking for dresses while we waited. Ok- keep in mind that my daughter is a size 4-6. Every dress she put her in she was stuffed in it like a roasted sausage OR couldn't zip up and was holding the dresses up- every one of them. The stylist would put her in a dress. My daughter would come out and show us and the stylist would disappear pulling dresses or putting them back. No real feedback or suggestions. In the meantime- it turned out we were seated in the clearance rack section and the "larger size" dress section and stylists and brides were coming and going. We walked out of there extremely disappointed for a couple of reasons. To have a girl my daughter's size or any street size girl not being able to get into a dress and putting her in "model" size dresses does something with the psychie. We felt the stylist was pulling dresses she would look good in being tall and very very young. We felt the experience was like running on a hamster wheel - with no real feedback or help- let's just get her in as many dresses as we can, and lastly the dresses she tried on were in really bad shape. Tears, rips, holes, a zipper didn't work. I was so disappointed!!! Went somewhere else-- had a great experience there and found the perfect dress. So disappointed. read more

The ladies at The Blushing Bride Boutique were awesome! I did not get my gown from them because I had found my gown at another place a couple days before my appointment with them. They do a lot of advertising on their Instagram and Facebook on dresses that they have in store and I found one of the most beautiful that I just had to try before I committed to mine. I called and explained the situation and they let me come in and try on that one dress on the spot. I really appreciate their flexibility with letting me do that because they did not have to allow it. Thank you so much for accommodating me! read more
